I so so much agree about gymnastics and said this too!Boymomma123 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 17, 2019 9:42 amYes, this is exactly how she acts regarding her children. I will never understand why they still have Gaines in gymnastics she is almost 5 and seems to have no talent for the sport at all. Not that all kids are going to the Olympics but she just looks so unnatural, Brooks on the other hand doesn't get to do any sports yet has all of this energy and actually seems to be athletically inclined. Yet they complain about his craziness, which I think is definitely due largely to having a camera in his face since birth and parents who encourage crazy behavior for vlog footage then expect you to act calm and well behaved the rest of the time.Catface2 wrote:Katie just wants to portray Gaines as a above average intelligent kid..like she sees herself and Brooks is the kid in the corner picking his nose with a dunce cap on...like his dad. IMHO. Katie’s twisted like that

Today they fell on the floor when Brooks was hugging Gaines, Gaines fell upon him and Brooks was underneath. You would think it's your first instinct to first safe, help or comfort the kid underneath, especially since he's smaller and more vulnerable and the bigger kid fell upon him. (He should be her "baby", but instead Gaines was "baby Gaines" when she came out of kindergarten. She also refused to take Brooks with when taking Gaines to kindergarten. He could have come with them in the car, which would have been far more logical and efficient. And Cullen could have been a moment alone or do whatever he needs to do.) But she only helped Gaines, and kept helping her, and kept helping her, and straitened her dress, as if to say Gaines was a member of the royal court and Brooks was far below her and should stay away. No single finger did she stretch out to help Brooks getting up, let alone asking if he was okay. But immediately blaming him for their falling, she could do. It was in a normal tone but he is 'constantly' implicitly told he is wrong and bad. I'm not sure but it seemed to me they were even falling because Gaines leaned forward. But it would have been normal to blame nobody, it was a typical example of kids just falling and both are innocent.
She seriously keeps surprising me. If I think I've seen it, she comes and does something a degree worse. And not even that but what surprises me the most is that she doesn't even try to change and is blunt about it. The way she idealizes and over-identifies with Gaines and is instilling she is of a more important and higher value than Brooks, is disgusting and also leads straight to narcissism. Besides what it does to Brooks and their sibling relationship.
In the hallway of the trampoline park, Brooks reached out to her with his hand on her arm. She did not respond and kept her hand in her pocket. And her tone of voice to Cullen when he succeeded in doing a certain jump, was awkward as if she was beyond their relationship and he was history. Well then divorce him honestly, coward no-insight mediocre woman.
