Did they not film much of the party because it was all too much for Brooks and he had some meltdowns or because they went to late to get a table for all of the guests. Brooks does not do well in chaos. He has lived his whole life in a chaotic environment. In other words he is the product of the environment that Katie and Cullen have provided him.

Even what they did film we barely saw any family members. Only one who interacted on camera was Britney. Is it just Kelly not speaking to them or is this way more far reaching? Perhaps nearly all their friends and family have requested not to be filmed.

I wonder if Brooks was having a rough time at the party, i mean he did say he didn't have fun and they had to put him in the swing with a blanket over his eyes to calm him down at one point. If he wasn't having it, and they were stressed bc they didn't get a table, makes sense that not a lot of the party was filmed bc either they were busy trying to keep Brooks happy or they had to edit it down bc he was acting out the whole time... just a thought.

Just speculation. Poor Brooks. Having to sit in the swing with a blanket over his eyes because he was overwhelmed couldn't have been fun. My son is on the spectrum and even he managed to enjoy his birthday parties.

If he was so overwhelmed by his birthday party then they really should consider having him evaluated for autism. It is a big spectrum there are a lot of kids who are on the spectrum that have are very high functioning. I hope when she says that it's not autism it's because they have had him evaluated but I highly doubt it. Katie probably just assumes since he does have any of the classic signs of severe autism that it can't be that. I really hope they get that poor kid any therapy and assistance that he needs they call it a spectrum for a reason. I could never take this woman seriously as a psychologist.

I just watched parts of the podcast out of curiosity. Katie's family has no room to judge. They are not the brightest bulbs in the chandelier either. Brittany was talking about a black mirror episode in which everyone in society is judged and gets access to things by social reviews/stars like Amazon sellers. Little did she (or anybody else in the whole extended clan) know that the episode was based on the real life oppressive social credit system in China where everybody is monitored and penalized by camera surveillance. I give Brittany points for watching thought provoking programs even though she (&Cory&the rest of the fam) are clueless about real human rights violations around the world. She and Cullen confirmed that for the most part they are not the biggest Trump fans. Especially because of his Twitter feed and the way he insults everybody. I give them points for that!

I think if they got B noise canceling headphones then everyone would notice he has special needs and they CAN’T have that. I think their community and even own family..on her side would label him as the evil “R” word. That shit breaks my heart. That kid needs help. She’s just too proud to get him what he needs.

I think Doc is a little more with the times then to use the “R” word, same for Kelly. IMO the only one who would really struggle in that way with a diagnosis for Brooks is Katie herself.

I think Katie is the one who would have the hardest time if Brooks was diagnosed with anything that doesn't fit into her picture perfect family. She is too busy obsessing over Gaines and how similar they are, it's like Brooks is Cullens to deal with and she gets to worry about princess Gaines. I think she also resents Brooks for all their recent problems whether she realizes it or not. She has talked in the past about how their problems started right after Brooks was born, maybe she never bonded with him properly because of her ppd.

[Todays drama]

Brooks is just a little hyper kid. I watch a family, 3 kids, 2 are twins, one is hyper, very active while the twin is more calm, not so wild. There is no cookie cutter kids, they are all different with different needs, different personalities. We have to remember these kids are the first group being raised with a camera in their face from the day they were born, raised to perform for the internet. It has to have an effect on them. I feel bad for kids like Brooks, he has no choice but to perform for the world, getting mixed messages from his parents to wild and crazy for the camera, yet be nice, well behaved when prompt to be. Yes, Maybe Brooks is on the spectrum and should be checked out by a qualified specialist, but We shouldn't forget his behavior may also be a result of his life thats he been thrown into.

I do think a lot of it could be his environment, poor kid has a dad that revs him up and encourages his craziness just for the chance to go viral. I think Cullen is desperate to make it big on yt and tries to capitalize on every opportunity possible. Poor Brooks could just be confused and trying to behave the ways his parents want. Gaines definitely is a product of her environment it just manifested differently in her and she just has to be the center of attention. I would take a kid like Brooks over Gaines any day, Brooks will grow up and mature, Gaines is just a spoiled brat and her behavior will only get worse.
