I was a little surprised by Cohen’s diagnosis (or lack thereof). With all the things she described, I thought for sure he was at least on the spectrum? I think she expected it too.

For him to be sent to top specialists in the field and have them say that he’s completely not on the spectrum was surprising. I’m no doctor though. I do feel like he is different. Maybe it’s something he will grow out of, or maybe he thrived on the one-on-one attention during the testing process and showed them his true self. He doesn’t seem to get that attention otherwise.

This!!! Yes this exactly is what I mean. I do think there is something going on because she mentioned a lot he has crying fits and meltdowns constantly. I totally understand kids have tantrums but his seem excessive but yet she mocks it. That and the speech delay coupled with how difficult he was as a baby I know there is something there that is off and I would be pushing harder to find out.

This is from over 2 years ago and I feel like she has significantly cut down on her mention of using doterra products. She also used to have something in her description boxes telling viewers to email her if they were interested IIRC and I don't see that anywhere now. I'm fascinated by MLMs and happened to stumble across this video lol

Yeah and I feel like there were other markers such as difficulty with loud noises, or becoming withdrawn in large groups? Something like that. If I were her I would want to retest in the future for sure.

Are we really supposed to take budgeting advice from someone who shops 5 days a week!?!

Marry a hard working passive man. Control the pocketbook.
Get pregnant ASAP (“on honeymoon” ).
Start YT and create a giving back fund that you steal money from.
Beg companies to send you products, then resell on FB marketplace.
Any “necessities” repeatedly tag the companies until they send you free samples.
Shop 5x (+) per week and claim minimalism, horde items in basement and garage.

Elle selling budget advice..: LOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!

OMG, Elle is giving budgeting advice and all she focuses on is budget for entertainment, Christmas, birthdays, overpriced drive thru coffee and fast food, go down to basic cable...

If she was so poor before, doesn't it occur to her that some families actually don't have a choice in budgeting for these kind of things. It's basic living expenses and that's it, money is gone.

She's going on and on about how horrible it is to shame someone about their debt. I think she definitely had some issues with debt before and she's touchy about it. Good thing she had Dan to help wipe it all clean.

Haven't finished the video yet but I can't believe she wrote an Ebook about it. Just because she married into an upper middle class life, she's suddenly an expert with finances. Just like how she manages to sleep train her children, that makes her a sleep expert. She's really getting off on showing her life as a standard everyone should go by. The problem is there are her diehard lemmings out there that feeds that delusion.

Anytime she talks about her childhood/teenage years I think “where the FUCK was her dad”. Like how could he so selfish to know what their mother was doing and still walk away from them. It’s fucked.
I feel bad for her in that sense. No kid should have to go through that.

Okay so throughout her budget video she talks about how she wasn’t privileged enough to have parents cover her university bills. Fine. That’s fair. But if you’re going to mention that hardship then you should probably mention the privilege that comes with marrying a man who is settled in his career and had lived with his parents prior to marrying her and therefore coming into their relationship with a ton of money.

All of it is a sham, of course, for the reasons listed above by previous posters. But it’s even further cheapened by this being yet ANOTHER laundry folding video! I couldn’t watch more than 3 minutes.

If you want to talk budget, show me spreadsheets and make your presentation look halfway professional or at least credible. You’ve got real life experience? That’s cool. Don’t show me your underwear while you tell me to buy your budgeting ebook.

I totally agree! If she wants to be taken seriously as an expert with such things, make the best presentation to show you care about giving valuable information to your audience! Don't half ass it by randomly speaking without any talking points while folding laundry. As a viewer, I percieve it as she just wants to get through this video and appear knowledgeable so she can be praised for it. The audience needs concise digestible information in a power point/bullet format. A lot of actual experts I watch on YouTube does it this way,Tedx talks being a perfect example. It's like she wants to appear like she's a great multitasker by doing videos and homemaking at the same time. In reality, it just makes her look not as credible as she claims she is.

I don’t know much about this couple you guys speak of but just watching those insta-stories made me feel so bad for Ford. He looked so attention starved. Yes! Elle does this a lot! I just checked Anna’s posts and Elle has not liked one photo since May when Anna’s Baby was born. NOT ONE. They used to be “besties” , I wonder what happened

Forde looked so starved for attention in those insta stories!!! That was so sad. I also think this is the first time I’ve seen dan holding the baby in stories. Actually.... it’s the first time I’ve seen anyone other than Elle and Blankette it seems Elle is a real peach

I know I’ve said before that the way Elle speaks makes me crazy; like saying I’n instead of I’m, and in today’s instastories, she pronounces almond milk “ah-mond milk” It’s as if she is too lazy to properly pronounce the words. I’m sure I’ll notice more as they come up. I’ll keep you all posted on #elleslazyenglish
