So I love Taking Cara Babies (TCB). Cara is an amazing person and she helps families build safe and good sleep habits. Learning about her through Rash is a terrible idea and Rash did her program a disservice.
The pacifier thing she teaches is to help babies learn to self soothe, which is a vital learning step for good sleep habits. She teaches though it for babies who are pacifier dependent and say to put 2 or 3 pacifiers in the crib, not more than that like Rash is doing.
I’ve actually talked to Cara about Rash and she told Rash to stop mentioning her and tagging her because she was portraying her business incorrectly and poorly. Remember how Rash used to mention her all the time and then people blamed weaning from breastfeeding on the sleep training??? Cara teaches the complete opposite and gives you tools to keep up a supply when baby sleeps thorough the night (ie. Getting up to pump, which Rash was too lazy to do, even on days out at the spa).
My daughter went through TCB when I found it at 5.5 months. She went from waking every 2-3 hours at night screaming and crying from birth to 5.5 months to sleeping through the night. She only uses the pacifier at bedtime and has been weaned off bottles at 12 months and still gets breastmilk in a cup at 13 months. She has 13 words as well.
Just want to say this so that you can see to not base a company on how Rash deals with them..
