It's never Canyon's fault when he does anything bad... it's either the parents or one of his siblings. He will be 25 and arrested for something, and his parents will bail him out and either blame themselves or one of his siblings at the rate this is going. The boy is going to be 5! It's BEYOND time he starts to learn that he is a menace and needs to turn his behavior around, and it is his parents fault... for enabling this to go on for so long! But, they need to do something about it now, before its the point of no return.thenightowl wrote: ↑Sun Sep 08, 2019 4:30 pm So Canyon acted up because Sarah didn't pay enough attention to him?! He acted up because you never discipline him not because he is feeling left out. I can't believe Allie is going to be 18! I always see her as younger than Daniell.

They need to get their act together. Yet another mac&cheese meal and another school change. This is getting repetitive. I feel so bad for Daniell, the number of times she said she was lonely and bored was concerning. Do we know why she isn't allowed to call/text/visit her friends?
Daniell also seemed truly concerned about pissing off her family by playing the piano too much (out of boredom). I can't blame her for being worried, there seems to be a recent spike in Mormon Youtubers shipping off their young teen "problem children". Someone suggested they moved to isolate the kids earlier in the thread.....they are starting to convince me it's true. You don't need to move your entire life for home school and videos.

Yeah, I keep thinking there's some weird/odd hidden motivation behind this move that I can't put my finger on. I mean who moves to a new place right before your daughter's senior year and while your second oldest daughter is barely halfway through high school (which can be a very difficult time to socially transition to a new school/town).Kattiness Everdeen wrote: ↑Wed Sep 11, 2019 3:57 pm They need to get their act together. It feels sudden, considering they didn't talk about it all in the vlog until the "hey, we're moving" announcement vlog several weeks back. And they did more renovating than most people do when getting ready to sell their house. It felt more like they were renovating for the future in that house, not to make it easier to sell.
They don't seem to be doing anything at the new house that they weren't doing at the old house (besides now all the kids doing home school). Like Johnny and Sarah don't have new jobs there, they aren't going to better schools, and they don't have any extended family around there from what I can tell. They're just doing the vlogs and Johnny still has his Living Tags business as usual.
And yeah, poor Daniell. She reminds me of Chad from 8 Passengers in that she's kind of the black sheep of her family, but mainly because she's the most 'normal' one (oh no, she a little flirty with boys her age!). She actually seems pretty mature/thoughtful for her age. I remember quite a while back when they "broke into" the Ohana family house while it was being remodeled and spray painted 'Yawi' and stuff. Daniell was clearly uncomfortable with that whole situation and wouldn't really play along. She's always struck me as the outgoing type, and I imagine it really sucks for her to be away from her friends and stuck in your house around the little kids all day in a new town.

Do these people not have any furniture? they are always sitting on the floor. I see one chair in the "living room" and that's it! besides the dining room table and chairs. Its just a very very odd set up in the house!

Furniture was being delivered in today’s vlog and Johnny said the homeschool room should be ready the next day.monkey1651 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 11, 2019 6:06 pm Do these people not have any furniture? they are always sitting on the floor. Re: Tannerites/YAWI
They finally have a school room! And it looks like they have books/workbooks as well as their online schooling.
Re: Tannerites/YAWI
The food in this vlog was ridiculous! Canyon ate a microwave corn dog for breakfast, Branson tried to make bacon and burnt it completely black (he's 21! How can he not even cook bacon!?), Branson later cooked an entire hamburger in bacon grease including the buns, Savannah made herself a sandwich using ranch dressing on white bread, Canyon made himself a "sandwich" of burger buns and a string cheese (which Sarah was very proud of). I just can't believe it. With the kids staying home all the time now, they are completely reliant on their parents for meals and Johnny and Sarah definitely aren't going to cook.

WTH are they doing with their old house? It's so weird that they put it on the market on June 3rd,lowered the price by $15,000 in less than two weeks only to take it of the market 4 days later. Then a week later they listed the house for rent and about seven weeks later on August 15th they removed the rental listing.

Maybe they're holding onto it so jobless Branson can live there once they marry him off.Gossip_Girl wrote: ↑Thu Sep 12, 2019 8:18 pm WTH are they doing with their old house? Johnny told Az that "today might be the day", and Lizzy thought her Dad might be marrying off her second grade brother. This family is so creepy.

What do you guys think of the home school room? For the most part I like it, I do think the desks could be more functional. I really like that each kid has a locker and gets to experience that.
I watched the video of Branson buying his own phone; no one wants his phone number, Johnny.
I have a feeling the won’t be using this program next semester. Daniell, Johnny, and Sarah all mentioned how it’s structured and they don’t mention it like it’s a good thing. I truly believe that they’re trying to isolate the family; Daniell sounded so sad and almost angry about the move.

Re: Tannerites/YAWI
The only thing I don't really like about the room is that they put Canyon right by Allie, I can see Canyon being a distraction, he should be on the end so that Sarah/Johnny could be next to him, I think it's going to be left up to Allie/Daniell to stop what they are doing and show him things (I hope I am wrong). I am not against homeschooling but I really wish they would have let Az and Canyon go to traditional school.Lolislol26 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 14, 2019 9:17 am What do you guys think of the home school room? I agree. I think Canyon and Az deserve to be taught how to read and write and handle emotional situations in a regular school setting. The other kids can read the directions and communicate when they need help vs the younger boys not having a clue. Canyon will probably never go to school because he’ll never be potty trained.

I’m so glad you mentioned this!!
I noticed it when they first moved into the house and again in the most recent video. At first I thought maybe the walls are textured but it’s 100% dirt. Probably traces of fecal matter, too.

Re: Tannerites/YAWI
The part in today's vlog where they were essentially putting pressure on Branson to find a girlfriend/future wife was kind of gross. How about focusing on him getting settled into a job or college before worrying about a wife and kids? Plenty of young people these days don't have kids until their late 20's or early 30's. Also, I imagine if he was in college it'd be easier for him to find a girl.

Canyon especially needs the socialization from school. That kid doesn't know how to act in public because his parents laugh and film it whenever he acts out.Lolislol26 wrote:thenightowl wrote:The only thing I don't really like about the room is that they put Canyon right by Allie, I can see Canyon being a distraction, he should be on the end so that Sarah/Johnny could be next to him, I think it's going to be left up to Allie/Daniell to stop what they are doing and show him things (I hope I am wrong). I can hardly stand to watch them anymore. Is Allie still going to traditional school at all or she is homeschooling full time now?

I think the previous owners didn't paint the walls before they listed/sold the house... and of course... Johnny and Sarah didn't have it painted, why would they? The sooner they get their kids away from their friends and in the solitude to be captive, the better!

Re: Tannerites/YAWI
I KNOW some might take offense to this and I mean none.. but, when they act this way... oh you need to find a girl a future wife... or even with Allie, start thinking about a future husband.. it's hard for me to not think this family is some kind of cult. Not saying LDS is a cult, I am saying this family is acting like it. Taking their kids away from their friends, their school... if Allie wasn't dead set on graduating in school and being with her friends, she'd be ripped away like Daniell... and you can see how badly it's affecting those poor kids. I think Johnny has gone crazy, and he is taking his family down with him!ctx2002 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 14, 2019 2:36 pm The part in today's vlog where they were essentially putting pressure on Branson to find a girlfriend/future wife was kind of gross.
