She is getting over her anxiety by laying on the couch and watching movies? How’s that any different than what she does on a regular basis? “Treating herself” is obviously not working. All she’s done for the past 2 years is treat herself to alone time and buying useless objects. Go back to therapy.

She must have never been so anxious that she can’t even sit still and focus on watching a movie. She doesn’t know what real anxiety is. I’ve had multiple panic attacks that only certain people can talk me down from and afterwards I have to sleep because my body is so fatigued. I’ve had such bad anxiety that I developed TMJ because of it and have teeth damage. I’m not discrediting her and saying she hasn’t had any anxiety, but the last thing I want to do when I’m anxious is watch a damn movie.

All the “stresses” that she has are all self induced...she didn’t NEED a house, she didn’t NEED two extra expensive pets, she didn’t need to be military wife. If David just stayed working like a normal adult & Vanessa would’ve just had Lily they wouldn’t have had to join the military as a last resort.

She did this to herself and it’s a slap in the face to the ppl out there that are really struggling with their mental health or to the single parents raising their kids with no help, a place to live or money to feed their kids...she can go fuck herself with her pity me post.

She's very impulsive. She spends all her money on useless things and animals. She has probably decided to re-home one of the dogs. We're also still waiting for an explanation on why Charlie is her last baby...shes probably making David get snipped.

Definitely and who would get a puppy when they need to toilet train an infant ???
You know your going to have accidents and you know the child will need constant attention at this time , she knows the score it’s not her first time
I also agree that Vanessa is lazy , I used to be lazy myself when I was younger with zero responsibilities, you grow up she is like a perpetual teenager.

Definitely and who would get a puppy when they need to toilet train an infant ???
You know your going to have accidents and you know the child will need constant attention at this time , she knows the score it’s not her first time
I also agree that Vanessa is lazy , I used to be lazy myself when I was younger with zero responsibilities, you grow up she is like a perpetual teenager.

She’s never going to grow up when she knows that Nona is always gonna be there to help physically and the in-laws are there to help financially. If she cared about her kids AND her “mental health” she would’ve BEEN bettered herself while KC was there for an entire year and a half.

That’s why I always say Nona/David’s parents are to blame for all the enabling that they’ve done & are STILL doing. If the in-laws was to cut them off they would have no choice but to start being frugal with their money. If Nona was to stop running every time Vanessa’s lazy called her she would have no choice but to get shit done by her damn self.

Ppl wanna say “Nona is scared of saying no to Vanessa because of the kids” but Vanessa knows exactly what she’s doing. She’s just a weird overgrown entitled child that thinks she deserves slack and freedom because she got pregnant as a teen...she’s NOT mentality ill at all.

Unfollowed. As someone with doctor diagnosed anxiety she makes my blood boil. Like stated above she is using it as an excuse. If she REALLY had anxiety she wouldn’t be adding more to her plate before working on herself. She is also discussing problems and never solutions.

I really hope she reads here so she can take a good hard look at herself and realize that her mother will not be here forever, her marriage (at this rate) is not going to last if she keeps this up. I’m done following (on Social Media) this girl who is constantly poor me and does absolutely NOTHING about it but go to Home Goods.

Didn’t mean to like this but where does Vanessa have anxiety...because she says so? You can’t just say “oh I have a mental illness” because you’re stressed/overwhelmed sometimes. You have to be diagnosed and correct me if I’m wrong but Vanessa has never been diagnosed with anything, not that I would believe anything that comes out of her lying mouth.

A person that has real anxiety isn’t gonna keep adding more and more shit to their plate like she does. She just wants to jump on the mental illness bandwagon to get sympathy and handouts.

Exactly...she lived her best damn life Mon-Friday when KC was there to help her do everything. Then soon as KC was gone for the weekend/on a trip she goes on IG rants so about being stressed and claiming a mental illness so Nona could come pick the kids up.

I agree. The way she acts and doesn't do anything with her kids is definitely not normal and I don't think it's because she's lazy or anything. Actually I can relate because I was quite similar earlier (the difference was that I still had to parent 24/7 because I'm a single mom and there's no one to help me). I was then a SAHM and overwhelmed and totally tired of my own kid. I then put her to daycare for 7 hours a day and it was still a struggle to do stuff with her in the evenings. I was just tired.

Anyway then I went back to school and later to work and things started to get so much better. When I think about that time now, I guess I was pretty depressed. I can see many similarities in Vanessa's behaviour. It would probably really benefit her to go to school or work outside home. Then she would have a life and some future goals on her own. It can be mentally quite unhealthy to be just at home. I myself totally need something to do daily and a routine. Otherwise I would just lay on the couch and nap all day like Vanessa does.
