She picks her skin to death. You dont have to be diagnosed with anxiety to say you have anxiety...and theres no one way a person with anxiety will act. It's just my opinion that she is not lying about that.
Do I excuse all the crappy things she does? No.

I have to agree that there is definitely something wrong with Vanessa. Not sure if it’s anxiety but I really think there’s something going on mentally with her.

I agree. The way she acts and doesn't do anything with her kids is definitely not normal and I don't think it's because she's lazy or anything. Actually I can relate because I was quite similar earlier (the difference was that I still had to parent 24/7 because I'm a single mom and there's no one to help me). I was then a SAHM and overwhelmed and totally tired of my own kid. I then put her to daycare for 7 hours a day and it was still a struggle to do stuff with her in the evenings. I was just tired.

Anyway then I went back to school and later to work and things started to get so much better. When I think about that time now, I guess I was pretty depressed. I can see many similarities in Vanessa's behaviour. It would probably really benefit her to go to school or work outside home. Then she would have a life and some future goals on her own. It can be mentally quite unhealthy to be just at home. I myself totally need something to do daily and a routine. Otherwise I would just lay on the couch and nap all day like Vanessa does.

You said it you were a SAHM with no help which is the complete opposite from her who’s married with her mom & au pair helping her this entire time.

Yes. And I think that is what saved me from being completely depressed and neglecting my kid. Too much help is not good. Doing stuff with the kids makes you feel better, it gives you the feeling that I've got this and I'm not a piece of shit. Nona and whoever is helping her now should step aside and make her do the parenting. Also she should get out of the damn house. Go for a walk with the kids. Or to the park or the library. Something.

She's very impulsive. She spends all her money on useless things and animals. She has probably decided to re-home one of the dogs. We're also still waiting for an explanation on why Charlie is her last baby...shes probably making David get snipped.

David probably went and got snipped without telling her when he saw how incompetent (and straight up loco) she was after Charlie

You're right that it's not good for someone's mental health to be cooped up in the house all the time. People need to get out and do things and interact with other people. I don't pay close attention to Vanessa but it looks like she's putting Charlie in preschool? If so then that's a good opportunity for her to figure out her own situation whether it's finding a part-time job or enrolling in some kind of classes or something. She doesn't do anything and doesn't even have any friends to hang out with in her new town so I'm sure she is going stir crazy but it's up to her to do something about it.

She will spend every minute that Charlie is in day care in bed "catching up on her shows". She will not find a job, she will not do anything productive. And on days hes not in day care, she will complain about how difficult life is and say shes stressed. She literally had an au pair for over a year and did absolutely nothing, she will never change

David has never been "my type" but he wasn't bad looking when he was younger and he was MUCH more attractive than V since forever. But hes not aging well at all. Which is sad cause hes only like 27 right? Also sad because, even tho hes not cute anymore, hes STILL way better looking than V.

Vanessa- I don’t have a 9-5 job either. Like most real adults, I work longer hours than that. I’m up before 6 every day. I get my kid ready for school and then I leave by 7am to take him to school and then go to my job. Then I come home and immediately start making dinner (not go through the drive through!) and take care of all of my other duties before I can relax. I can’t imagine how hard it must be for you, at twenty something years old, to take care of one child while your other one is at school, with no freakin job. You don’t even make videos for YouTube anymore. Life must be so hard. I bet you’re so tired . Shouldn’t have gotten two puppies, idiot.

She needs to get off her lazy ass and get a job since she sucks at being a parent. And what does she mean being startled awake? Doesn’t she lock her kids in their room and board up their windows?? She’s so useless and just keeps trying to fill some sort of void with Rae Dunn and puppies. I am really not understanding this new animal hoarding thing. I guarantee she’s going to get rid of one dog at least.

This is the first time Vanessa and David have had to take care of the kids on their own. No grandparents, no au pair. And Vanessa is STRUGGLING being a full time sahm. Charlie is starting daycare soon though and she’ll have plenty of time to nap since she isn’t doing anything else, so she can stfu.

I think it’s hilarious that she’s posting all this stuff about parenting and motherhood now that she’s finally taking care of her own damn kids. Like she’s reading those posts and saying “oh, now I can relate! I get it now. Ha. Ha. Ha”
