Nope. Their cotton candy sprinkle coated sugar crap diet has nothing to do with it. Nothing at all.

Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 3
I would not be so blasé like the Binghams if my kids went to the dentist and had 11 cavities between them - i would be so embarrassed and feel like I failed my kids for not getting them to look after their teeth better.
Epic, savage fun and being a princess does not include important stuff like dental care it seems.

OMG BRUSH YOUR KIDS’ DAMN TEETH.
I cannot believe they are so blasé about it and joking about it on instagram. Because the thing is when it comes down to it, it really isn’t that hard to get your child to brush their teeth. It just isn’t.
Are they aware that poor mouth hygiene affects your total health? That poor mouth hygiene is linked to heart disease? And digestive disease? Do they figure it’ll just be their kids’ problem when they’re 40 and need full dentures?
This is disgusting. It’s like the THIRD time they’ve bragged about how many cavities their kids have. It’s not cute, or funny, it’s sad and embarrassing.

Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 3
My 18 yr old hasn’t a single cavity - and she be mortified if she went to the dentist and they discovered one.
My eldest did have one or two but it was mainly because she had overcrowding which made one of her back teeth very hard to brush. They decided to remove that tooth and she hasn’t had any more cavities since.
I would be horrified if my 4 yr old had 6 cavities! I certainly wouldn’t be putting it on YouTube. I wouldn’t be able to forgive myself!

And the money to fill all those cavities! The health issues are appalling enough, but it's just wasteful too.
Yeah, they're #parentinggoals all right.

I'm 46-years-old and I go to the dentist regularly and I do not have a single cavity in my mouth.

Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 3
While I don't want to stick up for Mindy, genetics does play some part in it. I brush my teeth 2-3 times a day. I use mouth wash and floss. I still get lots of cavities. I have had 2 root canals. My gums bleed unless I use special tooth paste. My husband brushes in the morning only and he's only ever had one cavitiy.
I know she feeds them like trash and she basically admitted they don't brush their teeth without a fight so they probably aren't brushing them well.
But I am saying, to genetics DO play a factor in it.

I’ve totally heard that genetics can play a role. But they for sure have to blame their lifestyle and choices for most of this.Imsorrybut wrote:While I don't want to stick up for Mindy, genetics does play some part in it. Yes, genetics can play a part. But it seems that their cavities have gotten worse the longer they YouTube and live this "rad epic life" eating cotton candy flavored everything and getting sent junk food by the truckload from both sponsors and fans.

Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 3
If you know genetics plays a part - which it does - it’s all the more reason to pay attention to what they eat and take better care of their teeth.
I would imagine getting 6 cavities filled is going to be quite stressful for a 4 year old.
A lot of people don’t understand that what they class as healthy snacks - dried fruit, yoghurt, kids cereals etc - are packed with sugar.
There is no way I would have fed my kids the type of cereals available in the US. We don’t have anywhere near the range of cereals available here in the UK. Most appear to be just sugar in a bowl. Dental checks here for children are free, every 6 months for children under 19. There is also a dental programme in schools. Even the smallest cavity would be filled straight away to prevent further decay. I don’t really understand it. She’s so focussed on braces, because that’s all about appearances, but not so much on actually protecting their teeth.
I’m sure if the dentist thought they had a particular genetic predisposition, he would offer to seal cracks etc to protect the teeth further. Here the dentist wouldn’t laugh and tell you six cavities. They would absolutely read you the riot act and tell you to wise up as a parent! Allowing your kids to have cavities is allowing them to suffer unnecessary trauma and pain.

Exactly! Using “genetics” as a scapegoat will only get you so far.MervelllaB wrote:If you know genetics plays a part - which it does - it’s all the more reason to pay attention to what they eat and take better care of their teeth.

From instagram: “Mindy looked good dropping off banana bread to the new neighbors” not “we were able to give the new neighbors a small gift”
I know they probably don’t mean it to sound the way it does, but I honestly wish they’d choose their words more carefully. The way they worded their caption today literally makes it sound like all they care about is looking good. I know they’re nice people, so maybe try to sound like it.

They really need to knock it off with this faking sick crap. Stop encouraging your children to be shitty students. Stop making them think that faking sick is acceptable behavior. It’s not funny when you spend an entire vlog wondering if your child is really sick or not.

Oh you’re sick? Wanna play Nintendo switch?
Oh you’re in your reading nook? You’re playing Nintendo switch?
Wonder how many emails B has sent to Nintendo trying to get sponsored.

Why is Hazyl always in that stroller? Maybe if she actually walked on their walks, she might be tired enough be to sleep at night.

Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 3
January can't come soon enough. All the "faking sick" and just the fact that those girls asking for Branden's autograph appeared to be tweens, means that they are going to have to change their approach.
And can I just say how gross it is that people wanted their autographs?
THEY AREN'T CELEBRITIES. They have no real talent, and really don't contribute anything to the betterment of mankind or the planet. They film themselves, slap together some clips, and upload it. They aren't that special.
They just think they are, especially now.

Dan and Chelle: they spend far too much time filming themselves straddling one another or posing for ridiculous photos everywhere they go and then after we have to watch it being filmed they show the photos of the same events from the camera. I get that she’s a photographer and he’s really into videography. But it gets old after a while when every vlog consists of the same thing. Get some new content.

Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 3
Sure seemed like that was all planned as part of his efforts to get a Nintendo sponsorship. They can’t really be so stupid as to have not seen through the very obviously not sick kid. Then again...watching the way Hazy manipulates the entire household maybe I’m giving them too much credit.Pufflepup wrote:Oh you’re sick? Wanna play Nintendo switch?
