Re: 2011ProblemsWithMyHouse | 2011Teenagemom | Part 52
I consider myself to have “mild” anxiety (diagnosed by doctor) and I had panic attack disorder as well and I had 2 a week at one point. So her 2 a month isn’t that bad. She isn’t pregnant or nursing and still refuses meds? It’s not that bad then. If it’s bad enough and affecting your daily life you would be begging for meds even though the process sucks. So she basically just admitted that she will not be doing anything productive to get her head together at all. She will just sit around as expected. Yeah, I don’t feel bad one bit. I hope she has a mental breakdown. If her anxiety is that bad to her then it should be any day now.

No wonder the in laws are making darn sure Charlie’s in school during the day, and not home alone with Vanessa all week long.

Re: 2011ProblemsWithMyHouse | 2011Teenagemom | Part 52
That’s why she showed herself pretending to be productive and multitasking while the kids were home. Cooking and helping lily with homework, cleaning the bathrooms and bathing the kids, putting them to bed all before David got home from work. She knew she was going to have people worried about her and she wanted to show she can still manage the house and the kids on her own. No wonder the in-laws sprung for full time daycare though.
I can’t believe she has the audacity to go on yt and cry about her anxiety knowing full well she has no intentions of getting herself help. Congratulations, you made it through today, but what about tomorrow and next day and the next? I hope someone in her family sees that video and talks some sense into her, but the way Vanessa treats her family, she will probably see it as an attack and cut them off for trying to help her.

I have moderate to severe anxiety. I am on medication and have therapy. I have 2 children, a dog and also hold down a job. I am more than present V. If it wasn't for the meds and therapy however, I most certainly wouldn't be present, I would probably be in a grave. If you are seriously experiencing generalised anxiety disorder/panic disorder and are having panic attacks, please seek help V, they WILL get worse. Even download Woebot onto your phone to receive some CBT as a starting point.

It's amazing how her mental breakdown happens once she realizes she has to actually care for her children herself.

Vanessa’s anxiety is only triggered when she has to parent her kids because the entire time KC was there she would be perfectly fine until KC had to leave then she would be on IG saying she was “sick/stressed”, Nona came running and she would be fine.
It’s clear as day that the issue is the kids & the fact that she doesn’t wanna mother them. How are you gonna say “your dogs are your therapy”? No matter what your kids should be your therapy not some dogs you got 2 months ago. She needs to just admit she had those kids to trap David and she doesn’t wanna be a mother.
If the in-laws really cared about those kids they would get her real help and monitor it bcz I honestly don’t believe Vanessa has gone to therapy or actually spoken to someone about her mental health.
Re: 2011ProblemsWithMyHouse | 2011Teenagemom | Part 52
Big life changes like moving can definitely trigger underlying mental health issues that can take a bit of time or another stressful period to make things bubble over.
If being with the kids makes her feel better though, wouldn't she want Charlie home more? I wouldn't see a problem with putting him in preschool part-time even though I'd do it at age three, but full-time while she's home? I think it's clear that the kids heighten her anxiety not lower it. Which she should seek help for because her kids are still little and it's not going to go away on it's own or by sending them away and petting dogs.

I have a autistic son, I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety
You know what keeps me ""PRESENT"" ?? MEDICATION, medication keeps me present, therapy make me present.
Without those I shut down and want to be in my bed all day crying.

Re: 2011ProblemsWithMyHouse | 2011Teenagemom | Part 52
What I don’t understand is why she thinks her pets are so magically therapeutic? I know she likes to think of herself as this huge animal lover, but she does not acknowledge the fact that they add so many more responsibilities and stress to her life. Why does it bother her so much to have to care for the kids but she’s perfectly content cleaning up after the pets? She really needs to go back to therapy to help her understand that if she is already struggling and stretching herself thin, more pets means less patience and less attention that she can give her kids. I’d want my kids to get the best side of me but here she is needing her her space from her kids but is always cuddling and loving on the dogs. She NEEDS to look into why she is like that. The kids are going to grow up and know there’s something wrong with mommy, if they don’t already. Just looking at her picked and bleeding body, they probably already worry about her.

she's really giving a bad, potentially dangerous message to her viewersTekaspn wrote:I have a autistic son, I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety

Is she dumb? Medication would make her more “present” than she is now lol
I’ll never understand people who talk about how much they struggle with anxiety/depression but then act like medication and therapy isn’t for them.

She doesn’t wanna better herself because this “whoa is me” cycle works for a lazy unmotivated person like her. The in-laws continue to financially support, Nona physically supports and she gets to whine about her 1st world problems on her channel of validation and asspats.sarah_rud wrote:Is she dumb? She’s never gonna better herself and I really wanna flag her video for her basically telling her young viewers that actually have hard lives and REAL DEPRESSION/ANXIETY that they don’t need medication bcz they heard her say she doesn’t take them.
Re: 2011ProblemsWithMyHouse | 2011Teenagemom | Part 52
She is sending the wrong message for her 12 year old minions about anxiety and medication!
She doesnt want to get better because she wont have anything to complain about and video about.
I see what you are doing Vanessa.
Get some help for the sake of your family if you have a real mental health problem!! You need real help.

She has always had pets and cried anxiety. Why haven’t the pets helped her before now? Why did she have to get 2 more dogs to help her? She’s a scabby bag of lies.

Re: 2011ProblemsWithMyHouse | 2011Teenagemom | Part 52
She is so pathetic so many moms go threw anxiety and depression and get help and push through for their families! I was going through a lot mentally and I realized I wasn’t being the mom my family needed so I got help I was diagnosed with depression anxiety disorder and ptsd from previous abuse in my life. I got medicine and therapy and now I’m furthering my education I exercise regularly and I have a better relationship with my son. She doesn’t want help, she wants to stay depressed so that the in laws will keep helping them and so will Nona. I bet if she was doing just fine they wouldn’t help as much

Re: 2011ProblemsWithMyHouse | 2011Teenagemom | Part 52
Medicine literally stops my anxiety attacks in 5 minutes max and keeps me from wanting to be in bed eating all day and therapy helps me gain the skills to naturally stop panic attacks and how to work towards getting off of medication she literally needs therapy a few times a week a simple work out plan to release some endorphins and some medication to get her ass out of bedsarah_rud wrote:Is she dumb? Re: 2011ProblemsWithMyHouse | 2011Teenagemom | Part 52
Exactly. She is scared to seek professional help because deep down inside she is afraid it might actually work and if she gets better she will lose some of the support she relies on.
If you are less stressed/anxious/depressed, you WILL be able to handle your children on your own, Vanessa. Do not be afraid to seek help because you don’t want to deal with your kids. Get help so that you will WANT to spend time with them and be the mom they deserve.

Re: 2011ProblemsWithMyHouse | 2011Teenagemom | Part 52
Maybe there's nothing wrong with Vanessa. Maybe she's just lazy.
Re: 2011ProblemsWithMyHouse | 2011Teenagemom | Part 52
She’s self harming. Picking @ your skin to the point you are leaving scars, is self harming behavior. She also suffered from an eating disorder in the past. This woman needs help.
