So much is seen in this.. Doctor doesnt diagnose her with PCOS. Ellie already read up on it prior to the appointment, tells the doctor she has heard about PCOS. While the doctor educates Ellie about follicles, Ellie is clearly not listening (her body language, and "mhmm, ok uh huh"), Jared talks over Ellie about ovulation, doctor tells Ellie she's okay, she's young, she has a lot of eggs, Ellie is SO EXCITED for IUI, Ellie just desperate to have a baby that she ultimately neglects...

I stand corrected! Thank you for sharing this, because even though sometimes doctors do misdiagnose PCOS, it does seem like this doctor knew what she was talking about and actually saw the string of pearls on her ultrasound.

Personal: My husband and I have been TTC for over a year now with the help of my gynecologist, and due to a blocked tube (I only have 1 left due to a surgery I had last year) we now have to move on to IVF with a fertility specialist. Today is our first appointment with the specialist and I’m super nervous, so it was interesting to watch this and see what they do.

How did you make out with your appointment?

It was very overwhelming, but I think it went well. We’re moving forward with all of the pre-testing and we’ll see what happens from there. Thank you for asking.

These Griffiths women drive me nuts, they are "minimalists" with everything in their homes that isn't about them. They all have so many expensive clothes and shoes yet their kids have like 3 pairs of pants and two shirts. Those boots are awful, but what can you expect from the woman who brought us bollie.

Jared said that they are in Florida for another reason. Anyone have any ideas? No doubt this was a PR paid trip, otherwise they would not go. And of course Jackson is already taken out of Kindergarten class.
Jared was over the top yelling on the rides. For cripes sake, they went on kiddie rides! The people around them must think they are f'n nuts and annoying!

Right? Her symptoms don’t quite match up with her diagnoses. I have PCOS and yes she does seem to have some symptoms (which could also be attributed to other causes) but one common symptom of PCOS is high levels of androgens/testosterone.

It’s also uncommon for a person with hypothyroidism to be so thin, and although there are thin women with PCOS, it’s more common for us to be overweight.

I’m not saying she doesn’t have these things, but there are a couple of red flags that make me think she either diagnosed herself with these issues, or she was misdiagnosed by her doctor at the time.

It is uncommon for someone with Hypothyroidism to be thin, but it is not uncommon at all for someone with an eating disorder to mess up their body and end up with a Hypothyroid. That one does make sense to me, because I think we’ve seen more than enough signs to suggest that Ellie has a troubled relationship with food and has for years now.

When I see Ellie I think about anorexia. Not bashing or anything. But that's something with me too... I usually eat a lot of carbs/sugar... Or eat normal and when I see that I'm gaining weight I stop eating, it's involuntary, I've been in therapy for that. That develops into crazy hormone levels... Maybe that's the case with her, more like a psychological illness, not actually physical

It's definitely been mentioned before. You need a certain percentage of body fat to even ovulate and have periods. It's why some women athletes stop menstruating. Some of us definitely think she has issues with food-- the making Jared share when they eat out, the pushing her food around, etc. Her own family has a hashtag about her pushing her food around the plate and thinks it's a big joke.
The whole family is f*cked up.

How many times Jared and Ellie went to dinner with B&J and "forgot" his wallet, it became a joke with the family so Jared didn't have to pay. I guess he didn't have his license while driving around. Isn't to normal to keep your license in your wallet and pocketbook that you take with you when you go out? These two are so absent minded it's scary. But it looked like Ellie remembered her credit cards.

In Ellies IG story, she is with Missy Laning in SLC for their "Fashion Show". Maybe Missy is modeling that robe of hers! Lol
