I think their whole situation does make me wonder about the finances. My husband and I both have great jobs and a new baby. Yet somehow they have „more” than us in terms of house cost and work/life balance. Clearly we are doing something wrong here. I would love in Youtubers were more transparent with their finances so that we can see just how things are going. But doubt anyone would do that.

That’s why I’ve always suspected they make buck on YouTube. It really hit home when I saw her write that today is Justin’s 25th birthday. Like how do these unemployed 24(?) and 25 year olds have this kind of income? People here seem to think they’re going to go bankrupt but from the limited amount I do know of them, it’s that they have been at least financially conscious (Dave Ramsey, no buying on credit — even vehicles if I recall correctly), so I just don’t think there’s doom and gloom around the corner for them. I also don’t think their boring vlogs a few times a week is going to sustain their lifestyle in the long term, but I can’t help but think they’re not being completely careless about home purchase, renovations, and everyday spending without crunching their numbers.

They can be fine now, but no way they can afford to buy a new car for the twins with cash. I have a strong feeling that they get a lot of handouts too and that’s why they get to save whatever money they’re getting from their channel. The twin hype will die down and they will be stuck with medical bills, etc. with no degrees or decent job experience. No wonder Rachelle looked like she was going to pass out at the ultrasound, now she’s just acting because she will never be real with her followers. Her life is picture perfect you guysssss

What!? I’m so confused. You “work” from home but can’t frequent the grocery store?
You can even get groceries delivered nowadays for a small fee. There’s NO reason not to have fresh food in the house when you have a child. That’s genuinely concerning because what the hell is emma eating besides those heavily processed pouches and formula? She’s 1 years old!!

I don’t get them at all. That was a “chaotic” Wednesday? They took Emma to swim in the morning which takes less than an hour total including the drive, they went grocery shopping (but not even a full trip because neither of them “felt like it”), Justin got sushi, Rachelle got Jamba Juice, and they cleaned up the living room and kitchen.

My cleaning days are my “lazy” days. I’d hate to see what a lazy day for them is lmao.

Exactly. That’s what my day looks like before 12 pm lol. I can do all of those things and more and then I’m able to relax until I have to cook dinner. Oh wait they don’t have to cook because they eat out constantly. These people are so damn lazy.

Lol, point taken. It’s all relative though. For some people that’s careless spending and it ruins their budget. But at certain income levels it’s no big deal. I honestly don’t think a few meals or treats out (though granted they do it a lot) makes you financially irresponsible. If you can’t pay your bills, sure, but my point was just that they seem like they did wait and save, and they had enough income to qualify for that house, and they buy their cars (so far) in cash. You can hate them (as I do) and still believe that they are financially secure.

Again, I would love to know their long term plans. They have had a ton of sponsors lately and almost a million views in a week (thanks #twinpregnancy) so I’m sure they’re fine for the near future. But like, does this YouTube train keep rolling forever? If I had a huge mortgage, twins on the way, and an unemployed husband...that would keep me up at night, even if things were perfectly fine at the moment.

Now, I'm NOT saying pregnant women shouldn't celebrate their pregnancy just because people are still struggling. But speaking from experience, when it took me 5 years to get one kid, I try to be so aware of things I say and how I say them, and HOW MUCH I "flaunt" being pregnant. It just comes naturally after you have walked the journey yourself..... At least for most people. Not princess Rash. Thank you for this!! This sums up my feelings and experiences perfectly. And really, if she thinks she has pregnancy brain now, she’ll be comatose by the third trimester. Better yet, wait until the babies are here and she and Justin are each juggling one on 2-3 hours sleep, while Emma’s throwing tantrums from lack of attention. Because that’s the non-glamorous reality that no one is jealous of. Pretty much my life right now, haha.

I wish YouTube would demonize them. Justin would need to go back to work. Rachelle would either apply for benefits or be forced to get a job. I'm sure she'd qualify for benefits since they have 3 kids and since Justin would work at a car wash or whatever again. She'd be home alone with 2 newborns and a toddler. Or she'd have to work and juggle 3 children under 2. It'd be hilarious.
