BritneyAndDunkinDoLittle (part 67)
Re: BritneyAndDunkinDoLittle
She can rave on and on about Scarlett but I think her viewers have chosen who they like more. The difference in views between Harlow’s baby’s video vs Scarlett’s baby video is outstanding

Re: BritneyAndDunkinDoLittle
So true. We Americans are bombarded 24-7 with advertising of ultra-processed snack foods. Even our poor children are subjected to this. And it's difficult to resist incorporating these crappy foods into your kids diet. But the trouble comes when your child's palate can't accept anything else. I think that's what is happening with Aria. Aria is probably highly resistant to hard-boiled eggs or a tuna-fish sandwich so Britney doesn't bother with anything else besides easily digestible snack items.dazzled wrote: ↑Thu Oct 03, 2019 4:31 am I feel like those lunches that are essentially an assortment of snacks are an American thing. But what if your kid won’t eat that? I have 4 kids 2 of them had no problem eating sandwiches, the other 2 refuse them.. so we try other things.. my youngest two are very picky with any kind of “meat” so we try to get protein in other ways... one of mine also won’t eat veggies, unless the are mixed in smoothies or applesauce... again my older two who eat sandwiches and veggies are not any more healthy than the younger two... As long as they are getting mostly healthy items in their lunch, it really isn’t a problem.
Aria is tall and skinny, I’m pretty sure 90% of the reason why is because of her genes.. Britney was tall and skinny as a kid as well.. obviously she is not malnourished as many on here seem to want to believe.

Re: BritneyAndDunkinDoLittle
My kid is 7yo and she has never eaten a proper sandwich in her life. She also refuses to eat any kind of meat or cheese and trust me I have tried. And yes it makes things a little difficult but there are options. I have tried and found several healthy things for her to eat.Mandbtrue6 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 03, 2019 11:31 amdazzled wrote:I feel like those lunches that are essentially an assortment of snacks are an American thing. Britney is basicly offering her kid candy and chips for lunch since that's all Aria ate of her lunch. Also I'm pretty sure Britney doesn't even try to find healthier options or maybe she doesn't even know what is healthy and what is not.. Or even ask Aria which foods she actually likes or encourage her to try new foods (well how could she, all they eat is same take out and sodium chicken all over again). Britney just makes what is easy for her.
Idk, it's just sad that some kids get poor nutrition just because their parents are non-educated, careless, stupid and/or lazy.
Re: BritneyAndDunkinDoLittle
It would be highly unusual here to see a kid that won't eat their sandwich because that's simply how we grow up, so we're used to it. I see a lot of American toddlers constantly munching on stuff like Gerber puffs and other processed stuff that might not be the worst thing in the world, but is certainly not ideal. If kids don't grow up with certain food, then of course it will be difficult to introduce them to it later on. I also strongly believe that a lot of parents simply aren't persistent enough, although there are limits to this. But even if a kid just isn't into sandwiches at all, there sure as hell are a lot of healthier options than the processed crap Brit is feeding her kids, which goes super well with the greasy takeout they seem to get four or five times a week.Mandbtrue6 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 03, 2019 11:31 amdazzled wrote:I feel like those lunches that are essentially an assortment of snacks are an American thing. I'm not sure why you're feeling defensive, as I'm not really here to judge anyone except for Brit, but I will say that while at this age it might not be noticeably detrimental to a kid's general health, there's no denying that all of these processed, sugary snacks are far from healthy, or adequate in terms of nutrition for active kids that run around all day and have a lot of growing to do.

She’s probably coming off as defensive because you sound incredibly condescending repeatedly saying “it must be an American thing.” Who cares if it’s American or not? Britney is from America so yeah it must be an American thingdazzled wrote:It would be highly unusual here to see a kid that won't eat their sandwich because that's simply how we grow up, so we're used to it. I totally agree with eating out fast food constantly is not a good healthy choice...
however the lunches is what I was referring to, the lunches Britney packs really does not seem “bad” could they be healthier? Absolutely! But I know they are a lot better than a lot of kids... I’ve had lunch with my 3rd grader and have seen what some parents pack their kids... a lunchable with chips and maybe an apple?!... I also think if putting smaller portions and a variety in a bento style box helps a kid eat, I see nothing wrong with it? For my son they don’t get much time to eat as is, so I cut up and precut everything in his yumbox for convenience for him. If Britney was packing her kids brownies, chips, cookies etc I could see that being a problem but she always packs decent food. Hell I give her credit for still trying to pack carrots knowing Aria probably would t eat them.. if I put those in my kids, he would of freaked out because carrots were next to his yogurt or whatever?!...

Re: BritneyAndDunkinDoLittle
My oldest wouldn't eat a sandwich even if it was the last food on earth. He has never liked the concept, I introduced eggs on toast early as well as grilled cheese and he hates it all. So I can totally understand a kid who refuses sandwiches. Even if you don't introduce the processed snacks to your kids they end up getting them at school and everywhere else. I agree that Brittany most likely gives up trying to get her kids to eat healthy. My oldest is super picky and it is an every day battle to get him to eat enough veggies and protein. I doubt Aria ever really eats carrots brit probably just put that in for the sake of the viewers hence why they were untouched.

Re: BritneyAndDunkinDoLittle
She used to feed Aria everything - squash, broccoli, sweet potato, etc. Proof is in her old videos.
She became lazy, and started ordering out all the time and never making these things for her kids so their taste changed.

Ok so I’m not saying that is right or wrong... BUT if you watch her older videos Aria was literally like under 2 when she ate that stuff. Britney over the past several years repeatedly say her kids got pickier as they got older and I think that’s true with 95% of kids. All 4 of my kids ate pretty much anything I gave them as babies and toddlers but as they got older they developed their own palettes. I didn’t change the way I cooked for them at all. But I’ve learned if they don’t like it, they won’t eat it so I’m not wasting my time or money serving it to them?!... with lunches!!!! If I send my kid off to school for 6 hours a day, I want them to eat, I’d rather pack things I know they like and will eat than put things in there I’m certain they won’t.
Dinner is another story I cook one meal and they can eat it or not... seems like Britney does the same. Pretty much every time I’ve seen a video of her serving dinner she serves them all the same thing.

Re: BritneyAndDunkinDoLittle
You’re definitely right, every kid is different. I think my issue with the Yumbox is they have so many different tiny sections. It seems stressful to have to pack so many different things. I like the Sistema box because it only has three sections, so I just end up packing her a main thing (sandwich or whatever else), a fruit or veggie, and some kind of cheese or yogurt. Then I’ll usually just throw her snack in a baggie since they have a separate snack time. Just keeps things a little simpler for us!Mandbtrue6 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 02, 2019 6:20 pmMy kid must be on the same eating pattern as Aria because my 8 year old literally takes the same yumbox with very similar items. And NEVER eats it all. He won’t touch a sandwich or cold lunch meat or even cheese so I try to do nuts, pb, yogurt and pepperoni because that’s about the extent of “protein” he will eat for a packed lunch. Some kids are more of grazer’s and according to our pediatrician there really isn’t anything wrong with it as long as it’s healthier options majority of the time. We do yogurt, wheat things, pepperoni and an applesauce pouch and maybe some fruit snacks for a typical lunch. He’s a small 8 (almost 9 in a month) year old who only weighs 45 lbs and is only 47 inches tall but very healthy. Obviously we don’t know what Britney packs everyday but from most of the ones I’ve seen I don’t think they are bad especially for a picky eater?!bella3987 wrote:I agree, that particular brand is awful, and overpriced at that. They can’t, I’m no expect but both their speeches are horrible. Nolan could have speech issues because of his DMD but she’s not even giving him any therapy.pixiefrost wrote:Wow that is so sad!! Harlow definitely doesn’t speak like an almost 3 year old. Half the time I don’t even think they ask for the iPad, Britney just shoves it in their faces so she doesn’t have to deal with them.

Didn’t she have the balls to say in this video too that she rarely lets the kids have iPad time? Yet in the background of the vlogs, you always see Harlow or Nolan with one lolAmelia322 wrote:
