Ok so I wonder if we all get together and complain to YouTube about how harmful family vlogging can be and the possible risk on innocent children....if we can get those channels demonetized and taken down!?

Random thought, I know. But it would save all those children who constantly have a camera shoved in their face and their entire childhood documented and blasted all over the internet for their parents to make money off. Meaning, people like Rash and Tomato Man would need to actually go get jobs. And maybe Emma will have the chance to grow up normally.

I guess it would be easier to do through child protection services. But then there would need to be evidence of child abuse or neglect.
It's also possible to do through media. At least to raise awareness about these things. But again, they will probably claim that they only show 15 min of their day and rest of the time they are enriching Emma's life
I think criticizing her here is quite effective since we can see how she responds to what is said on here. Before I discovered this cite I was always wondering who are those 'mean' people she was always referring to in her vlogs lol

I think all of us will never agree on daycare vs no daycare for kids under 3, just based on what we did or are doing with our own kids. But, like someone else mentioned, they literally don't do anything with her. There is SOOO much you can do with just going for a walk down the street. I still do this with my 2yo and I point out everything we see and hear. I've been doing that since she was born. The best thing about Emma's age is it doesn't take a whole lot to impress them, and they are such little sponges! They love seeing the world around them, beyond the walls of their house or a target parking lot. I laughed when rachelle mentioned that swan bag from a fan would be good for a beach day! Yeah right! That would require you leaving your precious little Temecula for one time in your life. They don't do ANYTHING with that child, which is sad since all they have is time, and apparently money too.

Man I sure hope Emma gets a bit cuter as she grows up... For her sake. Rachelle isn't gonna love her enough otherwise. Imagine, she'll never complete with younger twins especially if they're cuter. Right now this kid looks like my big toe. Which isn't terrible, my big toe ain't bad lmao.

Before anybody jumps on me for that comment... I obviously don't think a kid deserves less love if they're not cute. I just think Rachelle feels that way. And no, it doesn't matter if somebody says somebody's baby is ugly. Plenty of babies are ugly as shit but it has zero bearing on their worth as human beings, or who they'll be as they grow up. Dissing a kids appearance is pretty low but whatever, she looks like my toe. That's all.

She’s certainly not a baby id see and be all gushy and think “ohhh shes so cute”...

Shes different looking, its not the red hair, its her facial expressions (and lack there of sometimes), shes just a bland baby. Doesn’t really do anything that screams “cute”.

Kids don't need or want friends until they're are 4. Emma needs her parents and an enriching environment. At her age, kids are curious about other kids, but are incapable of social play. They play beside each other but not with each other.
Emma will have a hard time having siblings because of that, just like any other kid her age who needs attention from adults, not playmates. So the fact that they are saying how she loves other kids just shows how little they know about child psychology.

And, yes, I have a degree in psychology and work in education.

That's just rubbish. Socialization is crucial to development for toddlers and preschoolers. Even children under 2 will parallel play. After 2, children who are developmentally on track socially will start to socialize with other children.

Parallel play has nothing to do with socialization and social skills. That's the whole point - being around kids at 15 months doesnt bring much benefit to the child. That's not rubbish, checkout literature on the topic

I'm so happy my kid can spend one day (soon 2 days) a week in a group of 14 children (age 5 months to 3 years).

Being around other children, same age, younger or older, DOES bring TONS of benefits to the child. I don't know which literature are you blabbering about, but being among peers and not just caregivers is proven to increase social skills, negotiation skills, emotion recognition & empathy, emotional stability, healthy development of identity and so much more.

Yeah I do agree with that, their lack of proper interaction and socialisation with her have stripped her of any personality. She doesn’t say any words or do anything that babies her age are supposed to do.

Has anyone else noticed that the way they feed her is also pretty much like a 6 month old baby led weaning style. Like they give her little tiny pieces of things in tiny portions almost like not even snack size when she should be eating proper meals and NO bottle by now.

Tons of benefits! But not at the age of 15 months and it doesnt mean that attending groups like that is the ONLY way to get the same skills. With a PhD you should know that you can't say it's the group that made a difference Had you taken him to grandma, he could've learned the same skills.
There is no need to bash Rach for everything, even things that dont matter. I got tired of reading how people say Emma needs to socialize with her peers, lol. Socialization at that age is done by adults because peers (ie 15 month olds) know shit about society

Can we all just stop with the condescending tones when it comes to daycare??? Some people think the most important thing at that age is to be with mom. But you can't say that because that puts down the moms that work. Some people think the best is for their kids to be in a daycare setting, but you can't say that because it puts down the moms that can't afford it or want to keep their kids home a few more years. Everyone does it differently. Whether your kid goes to daycare or not, they'll be fine as long you're engaged with them and interact with them NO MATTER WHAT path you choose.

Now we can all agree that Rash does NOT engage with Emma, beyond her baby voice and stupid sounds she makes at her, along with shoving a camera in her face. Let's get back to criticizing behavior that deserves to be criticized instead of putting down half of moms. Anyway, just my take on it.
