Some do. A girl I used to watch had to have either her iPad with her or the tv on while eating. Her mom used the tv and iPad as a babysitter/a way of not having to interact with her and now the girl always thinks she needs something to watch while eating. I grew up with a tv in the kitchen so I’d always watch it while eating before school and at dinner time and it became a habit. As an adult I realized that it was wasn’t normal so I’m trying to break the habit.

Finally watched “the day in the life”
Why does she call this ~*unEdiTed*~. She obviously edits it, and not just for time.
-She cuts parts of conversations out (my favorite, when she asks where frank put Scarlett down and you hear him start to say “yeah in the rock—“ and she cuts ahead. The rock’n’play. The recalled one)
- she includes a sponsorship in the middle of it... wtf?
- she rambles on about why aria isn’t in the vlogs much but won’t go into detail. Claims she faced backfire for being too open, yet does strange things like making a point to cover up Frank’s shirt and commenting about it without explaining why
- Three separate stops for lunch. I can’t.
- listening to her version of the word “tapestry” was pretty great too. Those words beyond an 8th grade vocabulary always get the best of her

Yeah thats not it. All the YouTubers are using itDaffodil82 wrote:Frank must be cutting her down on the high spending since she is buying used clothes (nothing wrong with 2nd hand...but this is Britch). I love how she justifies the purchases "I'm saving the clothes from the landfill". In her mind that makes it ok to keep buying clothes to wear them one time or not at all before she is on to the next haul.
Re: BritneyAndDunkinDoLittle
I agree. I thought it was really inappropriate for Aria to be in her room all night as a punishment. I wish she would elaborate a bit more about what's going on with her. As a mom/teacher I would love to hear and offer my insight, but you know she knows everything already.locobananas wrote:WheresMyCoffee wrote: ↑Tue Oct 08, 2019 7:13 am She doesnt want to show Aria anymore because she cannot censor Aria. Aria will speak the truth, as she doesnt know any better. She will say things like them never eating dinner together, always on the ipad etc etc...
I have never heard of keeping a 7 year old in their room before, is this actually a thing? Like I have no idea what Aria did or if this was her like, 5th warning or something but I cannoty imagine telling my 7 year old to go up to their room and stay there while everyone else was playing. The kid is probably exhausted!!! doesnt eat properly and probably doesnt get her energy out properly. It would be nice if they took walks/runs as a family.. the kids could use scooters or bikes, or sit in strollers.
Aria is the one who was probably the most “disturbed” by her parents splitting up. Her whole life was changed, and in the span of less than a year, her parents split, mom found a new guy, they moved twice, and mom had another baby. Change is hard for kids that age, and they can act out in different ways in response to those changes. Brit should really consider spending some more time one on one with her, since she never has since Harlow was born. She needs one on one time and individualized attention.
Also- I hate it when parents send their kids to their rooms as punishment. That’s where they sleep and play, it should be a safe place where they enjoy spending time. Not a place where they go as punishment

I know a lot of parents of young children/babies and no one I know does this. Where I live everybody eat together at a dining table and talk. No tv, no electronicsdexjuno wrote:Do people do this outside of youtube? And she’s still adding freaking nonpareils to the kids’s yogurts as toppings – I think she’s been doing that for at least two years (and I also remember Vanessa copying that with Lily’s lunches, lmao).whatsmyalias wrote: ↑Tue Oct 08, 2019 10:41 amI have to second this. You should put food on a table at least 15 times to see if a child will accept it, Brit probably stops bothering after the second try. I can't even remember her making appealing dishes that contain veggies that I, as someone who likes them, would want to eat. All they eat is takeout or beige crockpot sludge.

Why doesn’t she replace them with chopped berries? Putting sprinkles on yogurt is … ugh, it’s so dumb. To me, this would be the easiest way to add something more nutritious to the lunches, but that seems to be too much to ask.
What do I know, anyway; berries might not be as instagrammable as sprinkles.
but nonpareils are so nasty though
they don’t even improve the yogurt’s taste

Re: BritneyAndDunkinDoLittle
The sprinkles are just for the aesthetic, the pics she takes to share look so damn boring and gross. It's a bunch of junk for a kid to eat. I admit I'm not the healthiest, but I can't even eat that much shit.

Ya but how often are you at other peoples houses during meals? If we honestly knew what most people did day to day like we do youtubers we would be horrified.

My cousin is guilty of this and I definitely judge her and her husband lmao her kid is a year and a half, and needs the iPad to be entertained as well as the nubawubWheresMyCoffee wrote:Ya but how often are you at other peoples houses during meals? This is so true. I mean I definitely dont use an iPad during meal times, but if people saw my 3 year old at the dinner table they would be horrified. Every night is a damn struggle with him at the table. Sometimes I wonder how these youtubers have the balls to show their lives and face the criticism lolWheresMyCoffee wrote: ↑Tue Oct 08, 2019 5:59 pmYa but how often are you at other peoples houses during meals? I do agree it’s not very common, I actually am a licensed inhome daycare provider so I take care of 10-12 toddlers/preschoolers a day and yes most will eat at least one but my son will not touch ANY he really isn’t even a big fan of fruits either but will eat an apple or grapes once in awhile but that’s pretty much it. But I will also say I have a couple other kiddos in my care that refuse all veggies as well.

Re: BritneyAndDunkinDoLittle
I think you can respect your kids' privacy and still be on YouTube. I always try to think about how a "baby" might feel when they are 10 or 15...yeah it's not TOO embarrassing for "the world" to see you visiting an amusement park or something like that but could you imagine the world seeing you in your diaper/underwear, on a toilet or playing with poop (Harlow)?...One of KKs boys were completely naked in a video. It's not even just that ...any random person they meet could know so much about them...idk I guess there aren't enough (or any?) Older "YouTube kids" to know how they really feel or how much damage has been done.Resting_Bitch_Face wrote:js2013 wrote:I'd like to hear other opinions of B's latest rant...anyone?

So Aria was in trouble for whatever reason and she just had her in her room the rest of the day...like wtf? I don’t know what she did but you do not just shove you kid in their room as punishment and isolate them from the rest of the family after a long day of sitting in a stuffy classroom & being up since 5am.
Aria has already gone through so much in the last 3 years and has had to be 2nd mommy to the other kids, so no fucking shit she’s gonna act out in school when she doesn’t get any attention.
I also cannot stand when she starts talking about caring about the kids privacy because if she cared she wouldn’t be on YouTube and she wouldn’t have made all those shitty decisions she’s made the past 4 years. She doesn’t care about showing Aria anymore because she isn’t a baby/toddler anymore and is of no use to her on YT.
But I'm sorry, I know that's not what your post was about.

Re: BritneyAndDunkinDoLittle
My son is 1 and most of the time he doesn't get cartoons while he eats (I refuse to buy him an iPad so just YouTube cartoons on the tv) but tonight dinner took longer than we thought and he was exhausted and grumpy by the time he ate so we turned cartoons on for a little bit and once in awhile during lunch I have them on so I can leave the room or do something but most of the time I am sitting next to him talking to him. I couldn't imagine just putting an iPad right in his face for every meal like so many YouTubers do especially when he's older and can actually conversate with medexjuno wrote:Do people do this outside of youtube? Re: BritneyAndDunkinDoLittle
I don't think most parents should feel guilty for allowing screentime in moderation- no matter the time of day (mealtime, bedtime, car rides etc ). Parenting these days is much different than it was 10-20 years ago (in America at least). There are a lot more working moms/parents due to financial reasons and daily schedules of families are much more rigorous. If you need to let your child watch TV/ an iPad while you cook/clean/talk to your spouse in peace after a long day...then do it. Just be sure they are also spending their time reading books, playing outside and spending quality time with the family when you have the energy. That being said, B and most youtube moms do not have a hectic schedule since most work from home. They have the opportunity to do so many engaging activities with their children and they just dont out of laziness.MamaTweet wrote:My son is 1 and most of the time he doesn't get cartoons while he eats (I refuse to buy him an iPad so just YouTube cartoons on the tv) but tonight dinner took longer than we thought and he was exhausted and grumpy by the time he ate so we turned cartoons on for a little bit and once in awhile during lunch I have them on so I can leave the room or do something but most of the time I am sitting next to him talking to him. Yes Britney it is so impressive you managed to get your nasty feet into the picture. We all love and worship your fall sweater and don't forget the best fall accessory... Pumpkin coffee!
Do these YT mom's EVER get tired of shilling their coffee everyday. I don't know how people don't get tired of hearing about it.
