Probably somewhere between 10-20% off of materials. Anyone that has ever hired someone to work on their house or car or anything knows the materials are cheap compared to the labor. The labor cost is probably almost double the cost of materials.

Oh totally, I know that, doing a bathroom reno is expensive af and family tile discounts will only get you so far. What I should've said was... That detail probably just helped RACHELLE justify this decision to renovate that (brand fucking new) bathroom instead of just buying a house that already had everything on their "checklist". Instead she chucked that checklist in the trash and said what Mommy wants, Mommy gets, fuck the price tag. And Mommy wants a bathtub that's had no butts in it that weren't family. As if cleaning products don't exist (though maybe Rachelle doesn't actually know they exist HAHA jk)
It makes me laugh when you put it like that, she doesn't want non-family butts in her bathtub. Does she not realize an ass is an ass no matter whose it is??? Every butt has the same purpose. Is shit from her family less gross? ImageImageImage That rationale just makes no sense when you really think about it! And it's funny that she picks and chooses when she's a freak about germs. But she'll put her 2 weeks worth of dirt build up, nasty black feet in her bed every night??? Or wipe a sink down that her cat pisses in with a paper towel?? I just don't get it. Image

So does that mean she doesn't take baths in a hotel?
She is such a snobby and privileged brat.

Soooooo... did anyone else notice the instructor helping Emma to float? There is definitely a arm moving Emma to the surface. How is that real life? Obviously the instructor wouldn’t allow Emma to drown, but she literally was under a second two before the instructor was helping her. Trashy could have said, no she didn’t help her etc. but to just delete it, makes me
believe the instructor did help her. Soooo was it a fail??
Yes, she was holding her head up with her left hand. I think Emma didnt learn because she wa scared at first. They probably skipped several lessons too. Overall I think this is useless, if the baby falls in and is afraid, they may not have they coping skills to be able recall this skill and float.

Our pediatrician said with most kids you can spend a fortune put them in lessons as a baby and they’re water safe if they stay in lessons by around 3yrs old. Or you can put them in lessons around 3 and spend $ on a months worth of lessons and they’re water safe at about 3 yrs old. I think getting a baby in the water is key for avoiding fear of water... but that kid isn’t water safe! Lol what a baby does at 14 months with an instructor isn’t a reflection of her ability to float for minutes on end if she (heaven forbid) should fall in. Cover YOUR FUTURE POOL RACHELLE! Dear lord please tell me they plan to gate the pool they’re planning in putting in! She better not let her concern with Instagram aesthetics get in the way of those babies’ safety!

The lessons they did are targeted at people with in ground backyard pools. For toddlers and babies who can open doors and walk/toddle into a ungated/covered pool. The aim is to get a toddler to be comfortable in the water to keep their head above the water and float. In doing so, they teach them not to panic and to be calm in the water.

Emma didnt do any of that, shes she floated - with alot of assistance. I wouldn’t say it was a success. To be honest most babies would float in that situation, the aim is to get them into their back to float and to maintain an airway. She didn’t do any of that. She floundered - until she was flipped over.

Yet again some fad thing that rash had to do (just like the failed baby lead weaning/food thing she did and the sleep training programme...) waste of money.

Rachelle & Justine: Money pit, tit slip & shrimp dick | Part 22

Unread post by Here_2_talk »

The last few blogs they show Emma upset and crying. I think that baby is super dehydrated. They insist on feeding her their own high sodium diet. Pho for a barely one year old?! JC!

And I yet to see Emma walking around with a water bottle/ sippy cup. They live in a warm climate, Emma does have full nappies, but only after naps, so I bet Rach puts her down with a bottle.

Let that child drink water!

Or she’ll be the youngest baby on record with kidney stones!!

Come to think of it I’ve never seen her with a water bottle either. I can’t believe how much they are depriving that kid of any sort of meals/liquids. They have to stop with the formula, by the looks of it she’s on about 3 bottles a day, morning, nap time and bed time..at least..probably more but I’m just guessing those 3 main times of the day. It’s like they just can’t be bothered to have to put in that extra effort of making her food and cleaning it up because it doesn’t fit in with their habit of eating out 3 tines a day.

When she was begging for that pho and rash pulled out one noodle for her, far out women your child is hungry get her a bowl and dish her out some! These scraps and tiny pieces of shredded food are not nourishing your child!

How the hell will she manage with 3, we’re in for a treat let me tell you.

Just curious, how do you say pecan? It's one of those words that has different pronunciations depending on where you're from. People say pee-can, puh-cawn, pee-cawn. I've heard them all, so the way Rash says it doesn't sound that weird to me. Now the way she says "months" is really strange though. She makes it more of a mouthful than it needs to be, like she's chewing on fucking rocks! Every time she says it, I try repeating it to figure out how the hell she does it. I can't get the same sound to come out of my mouth lol

Other ignorance of the day (for me) since when is literature baby books? Literature to ME is clasic books you know, Mony Dick, Tale of two cities etc. Well, by definition I would be right. Lol. I guess trashy is trying to sound smart AGAIN.
OH SNAP, I get to put my college degree to use for the first time ever!

You'd be surprised what counts as literature, actually. The connotation is classic novels for some reason, but anything that exists in a written form can be "literature." Even movies and tv shows, since the screenplay is written down and carefully crafted long before the actors ever read the script.

You're so right...
There are no benefits of formula after 12 months, she should be switching to regular milk and water.

Yes! The finger thing! Even way back when I used to actually like her I remember that still getting on my nerves. Along those lines one of the most irritating thing I have ever seen her do was back right after Emma was born. She wanted to keep her awake so she would sleep better at night (ok there Rashy :? ) and she kept poking her and doing this weird thing like scratching at her little belly with those man hands. UGH! I wanted to reach through the screen and smack her hand away.

Trying to keep a Emma awake is so cruel... and didnt she learn that overtired babies sleep worse. Not better.
It always surprises me how people want to have kids but are not ready to change their lifestyle and put in the required effort. Babies wake up at night - deal with it. And now with the twins its gonna be a shitshow Image Trash will be furious and take it out on poor Shrimpy who already had his tail between his legs for throwing a tennis ball on the roof

UGGHHH thank you!!!! I have a 4 month old that doesn't sleep through the night, he still gets up once or twice which I can totally live with. I get it unless your kid is up every hour and you're a mombie, there should be no reason to get frustrated that they wake up. THEYRE BABIES!!! I think sleep training is bullshit. I bought the taking cara babies class and it was useless. Never used it.

I find so many moms now pop out kids but it's like the babies have to go by the parents schedule. Sure, there's parents that work demanding jobs and maybe other kids to think about but in most cases, I'm pretty sure the baby runs your life for those first few months. The way it should be.

Luckily it's California law to provide safety measures when new pools are built. So they either need to install gates, a pool cover, or some type of alarm that will sound when a door or window is opened to the pool area.

I did the Taking Cara Babies newborn class. Some of it was helpful -- especially for naps! My son started sleeping completely through the night around 7-8 months. We didn't sleep train. I'm not against sleep training but I just couldn't personally do it lol. We stuck to a pretty strict schedule and routine from the very early weeks. While a routine won't stick for a newborn it sure did help for when he got a little older. I pat myself on the back because he sleeps from about 6:30-7pm to 6:30am every night! I know there are still upcoming regressions but we'll do our best to get over the hump.

I never tried to "sleep train" either of my kids. They both slept pretty well (unless teething or hot), but woke up to eat a couple of times. My 9mo still wakes up 2-3 times and I am fine with that. Once I couldn't hear her crying for maybe 5-10min, and when I finally did she was already hysterical Image I felt so bad and can't imagine how parents can intentionally do that. It is training that teaches kids independence too early, I think it leads to anxiety and mistrust. A baby cries because they need help. Not because they are spoiled, I dont think that sleeping through the night babies are something to brag about. I didn't have kids to try to make them into adults at 6months, but Trash apparently did - she is so eager for Emma to grow up. Yet won't teach her to speak properly or to drink out of a cup. My daughter at 16 months could already say sentences like "don't do that, it's wet" (when I tried to kiss her lips lol). Emma at 14 says bo-bo.

She had the perfect opportunity to be teaching her language skills when she was reading to her, instead Emma had the pacifier in her mouth and was just making sounds.

I feel like the sleep training debate could quickly turn into the daycare debate we just had. I don’t sleep train and my 9 month old still wakes up once or twice a night. Most nights, I don’t mind. I work full-time and so my time with him is so limited during the week, that I love our late night cuddles.
