No they filmed this much earlier in the week, like last Tuesday I think they mentioned it.

Lol, I wish you could edit your posts, I just watched Saturday's vlog and they talk about filming it after watching the talks. No idea where I got my idea from, must have been thinking of an older vlog where they mentioned it.

I enjoy when others provide insight onto the Mormon religion because I don't know anything about it and it helps me understand another layer of the Binghams that I wouldn't otherwise. So thank you all.

The Bingham kids are going to grow up and be shocked when they find out what another world of food is out there in the world. I feel bad for their future SOs who have to cook for them if they maintain Mindy's taste into adulthood.

Meanwhile in San Diego, my special needs daughter is happy with her iPhone 7 and since the battery is dying, only wants a replacement, not an upgrade.
Don't they have iPhone 10s? They are RIDICULOUS. They are so shallow and materialistic. I honestly think that they were always this way and hid it until they could afford to indulge themselves. Because money itself doesn't change you. People who are truly grateful and who value what is really important don't change just because they have a windfall.

But then justified needing a new one because she’s “always taking pictures and stuff”. Yeah Mindy, we ALL are taking pictures with our phones.

I need to stop watching them before my eyes roll completely out of my head.

I got mine in February and will be getting a new one next week. I’ve had to have them replaced due to hardware problems three times in 8 months. I’m over it. Of course mine is for a legitimate reason unlike Mindy’s.

Hi, I've been reading here for a while and finally decided to join. I used to watch the vlogs but for some time now I've mostly skipped through them, for several reasons.

In their latest vlog, Branden said he had to get a new iPhone because the previous model becomes obsolete. If he knows this, then why do they support a company that seems to have so little respect for its customers and the environment? I've had my (non-Apple) Smartphone for about five years now and it still works fine. I haven't even had to buy a new battery.

A few months ago they mentioned recycling and how it's important to Mindy. But just the other day there were school papers in the trash. I don't understand why they don't recycle those. Also the amount of plastic they use is staggering. I'm glad they switched from bags to lunchboxes but now they buy these tiny bottles of water...

I think Mindy often uses reusable fabric bags when out shopping but Branden still takes those plastic bags. I hope he eventually stops using them to transport the things he bought.

On a positive note, I liked that farm they went to, as well as Gardner Village and Cornbelly's. I wish we had places like this here.

And Branden has that big old "sick truck". He doesn't really need it. There's other ways to get to motocross. And motocross season is about the only time I really concede that they might "need" it.
I don't think I have seen a single Youtuber who seems to care at all about what kind of planet they are leaving. So many of them eat off of paper plates, don't seem to recycle, and use all kinds of disposable, pre-packaged things like Uncrustables, Lunchables, snack size packages of food, etc. And they all have huge families.

Eh...I have an iPhone. I think the “it’s obsolete” excuse is just that. An excuse. Because they want the newest, latest and greatest features. I have a 3 year old iPhone. I’ll likely get at least 2 more years with it before I choose to buy something new. Would some of the new features be cool? Of course. But I don’t need them. And I certainly wouldn’t be willing to spend $1,500 on any phone. Ever. Apple is in the business to make money so they definitely target their customers to try to get them to spend money on the new product. When it comes to gadgets Branden and Mindy seem to have more money than sense. It’s all about the newest, latest and greatest and always seems staged to try to get sponsorship. I also think he was lying when he claimed that the only one he could get just happened to be the most expensive one they offered. Because he has demonstrated over and over again that the most expensive one is exactly what he would choose.

As for their lack of environmental awareness...you are spot on. They are ridiculous.

Interesting. I noticed the Gardner’s say comments are off also. So now I’m wondering if YouTube changed the wording from disabled to off or if they are choosing to keep them off.
