This is so random but I’m so angry I don’t have proof.

Years ago, I used to sell the IT Works crap. There was a page for everyone under our team leader to help with whatever. But there was a guy and his fiancé that joined, that LOVED Jesus. Frank and Christine!

I don’t remember if it was them specifically. And it’s killing me cause the guy looked like Mr Clean. I’ve been going through friends lists trying to figure it out!

I’m pretty sure this wasn’t to be taken literal. They were laughing after Alyssa sarcastically said “you mean my room”. She probably grabbed the idea from when she stays at Britney’s. A breastfeeding mother can consume alcohol while breastfeeding AND feed baby from the breast. The rule is 1 drink every two hours. Depending on how often the baby is nursing...you could certainly feed...have 1 drink...wait 2 hours and you are good to nurse again.

The saying is as long as you don’t feel buzzed you can nurse, to me it’s not worth the risk so I don’t see the point in drinking while I nurse. I can wait the 12-24 months I’ll be nursing for. But I am biased because I don’t like drinking anyways. Now idc what Brit does. Doesn’t affect me whatsoever. There’s worse she’s done, like neglect Nolan’s needs, or you know keep having babies that possibly have DMD.

Based on your username I’m assuming you’re pretty old since you have even said as much in the past. Doctors currently say it’s safe to nurse and breastfeed as long as it’s more more than one drink an hour and as long as you feel sober enough to drive (they say if you’re sober enough to drive you’re sober enough to nurse and care for your child). Not a risk I would take but PP is correct (I have an infant now. I also had an infant 6 years ago when they said to wait 2 hours. Things change constantly).

Breastmilk is made from blood. So if your blood alcohol content is .08%, your milk has .08% alcohol. While yes, technically there is alcohol, it’s equivalent to a shot of vodka in a swimming pool.
The general recommendation is that as long as you feel comfortable holding and taking care of your baby, it is safe to breastfeed. There is more risk of you dropping or falling asleep in safely than there is of alcohol in your milk. Although most doctors will recommend you do not be a raging alcoholic.

Britney’s a weirdo, but she is not feeding her baby unsafely.
