Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 3
I’m watching the iPhone vlog and in the beginning they talk about how the kids keep saying Jackson hole was their favorite vacation and mindy and branden are so shocked because they did EPIC RAD SAVAGE HAWAII AND CRUISE AND VEGAS AND PALM SPRINGS...
Wanna know why it was their favorite? It was calm, they were with friends, they got to do regular kid stuff, play board games, go to a little amusement park thing, spend calm time together as a family. It’s not shocking it was their favorite.

@slc_chick
I don't gets the paper plates either. They have a dishwasher and even when it was broken, they could have taken turns doing the dishes.
@ImmomSD
There was this video where Branden went shopping and showed himself coming out of the shop, walking towards his truck. Next to his were a few trucks that size, and similar in color. Truck dealers in Utah must be happy... I was reading here when a few of you found those photos from his past and it made me think about what kind of person he really is. Ultimately he seems like a good guy and I think he loves his kids which is special because many dads just don't seem to care but all that money has changed him.

I agree that he loves his kids. But he also seems to have definite expectations of how they should be. The girls are "princesses" and the boys are "savages" and "studs". And I think he's just his well what a shallow man he really is. Because money alone doesn't have to change you.Hermyoknee wrote:@slc_chick

@SqueakyWheel
Thanks for the info about the phone situation. Branden won't admit that the iPhone isn't actually obsolete because it would mean explaining to his viewers that they don't actually need them, and the followers might stop donating. I hate it when people lie. The donations have been discussed here before and it irritates me that they accept superchats. I don't understand the people who donate money to a family that is obviously not in need. There are so many people everywhere, families with poor children, who don't know what to have for breakfast because the fridge is empty. These are the kids they should donate to, if they want to donate. The Binghams are more than fine, financially. It makes me sad. When he bought the Switch, he kept mentioning it, and it was obvious what he was doing.
@spoiled2bits
I think they've changed the wording. On the FoolyLiving channel there is always some controversy about whether YT or Andrea herself switched off the comments and apparently it now says that comments are off there, too. Branden said he has been trying to get comments back. The comments on the Bingham videos were always very positive.
@nahthxx
I noticed that the kids sometimes forget vacations. In this vlog, Brexsen I think was surprised about a trip they'd taken and Ryler in one of their lives was surprised about Jackson Hole having been this summer. When I was young, I looked forward to that one trip of summer and never forgot it. They may have overdosed on vacations.
@ImmomSD
That may be the reason why they never show them acting out or in a bad mood. I understand wanting to keep only the best memories but I wouldn't mind it if they showed the kids just being real. I guess their system works though because the channel is growing like crazy. When Hazyl wanted to paint that ornament, I feel Mindy directed her towards that princess. Hazyl seems like such a wild, free spirit. I think she'd be happy running around in clothes she can get dirty in. When I was young, I loved building tree forts, playing soccer and digging holes. A dress would not have lasted long. When Krew hit his head on the side of the pool I actually got a sense of pride from Branden.
Does anyone feel that Mindy's "Hello and good morning everyone" sounds fake? Whenever she starts the vlogs, I'm sorry to say I have to turn down the volume because it just feels so fake to me.

Yes, the “hello and good morning” nonsense is just as bad as the “thank you, we like be you” robotic, emotionless and fake.Hermyoknee wrote:@SqueakyWheel

Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 3
It was changed to off. I noticed on a couple of Vlogs yesterday that it said Comments are off instead of Comments are disabled.SqueakyWheel wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2019 7:14 amInteresting. I noticed the Gardner’s say comments are off also. So now I’m wondering if YouTube changed the wording from disabled to off or if they are choosing to keep them off.spoiled2bits wrote:I noticed if YouTube disables comments it says comments disabled.. I fast forward through the first few minutes every time because the “good morning everyone” is so annoying. I think she does it kind of as her signature opening, but it comes off as fake and a chore.SqueakyWheel wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2019 10:03 amYes, the “hello and good morning” nonsense is just as bad as the “thank you, we like be you” robotic, emotionless and fake.Hermyoknee wrote:

On Our Life in Holland Justin said he hitchhiked after rock climbing back to his truck. I would have for sure picked up that shirtless man and given him a ride.

I found this funny: yesterday Mindy justifies buying a new iPhone 11 because she uses it all the time and seemingly wants the newest technology, and today's video Ryler calls her out for not using her iPad Pro for her speech when she instead uses paper and Branden called her a dinosaur because of it too

"Humbling Honor". If it's "humbling", why are you bragging about it?
I think that's another word (like "literally") that these people, and a bunch of other Youtubers, don't understand how to use appropriately. If they were really humbled by it, they wouldn't have it as the title to a vlog. Maybe they should read Charlotte's Web. It's got a good definition of "humble", and it's about at their intellectual level. Maybe a bit above.

Dear lord, 7 boxes of decorations!
Also, how much you wanna bet that the family vacation they alluded to is a trip to Disney for the trick or treat nights? I could be wrong, but I just have a feeling.

No too surprise. Any kind of extremely religious people think the same way(which the Binghams are) - very traditional way of thinking. Which is just one reason why I cannot stand any kind of organized religionlmmomSD wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2019 8:41 amI agree that he loves his kids. Remember when Mindy quit her job? Probably around the time the channel brought in enough money? I read somewhere else that within the faith, you're never on your own, there's always someone to support you. I think that having a family channel is actually encouraged because it spreads a positive message, and encourages new followers. The event they spoke at fits in that idea perfectly. From personal experience I know that YT ad revenue is often not enough, especially not to support a family of 6, and with a lifestyle like theirs. The donations they get are nothing to be sneezed at. I'd have (more) respect for them if Mindy had kept her job and they turned off/refused superchats.

It definitely made them more relatable when Mindy had nail clients. I can't imagine it took a ton of her time away.Hermyoknee wrote: ↑Sat Oct 12, 2019 1:37 pm @blessedunrest

Discovered these guys through their three day potty video which wasn't informative at all. Then watched a couple others. Am i awful for finding the youngest child extremely irritating?

I think in Saturday's(?) vlog he hinted at it being 2 family vacations now. They were crossing off the decorating in their list on the wall. And I swear he mentioned it being 2 trips now....

She is quite spoiled. I don’t blame her for it, it’s not her fault. I’ll admit that though I try to like the child I can’t do it the little Princess gets on my nerves.Beccaboom22 wrote:Discovered these guys through their three day potty video which wasn't informative at all.
