I don't doubt someone Lilia's age would be able to text in paragraphs these days when they're using phones/tablets from the time they're toddlers. It sounded just like Lilia to me, she's gone on cheesy little "believe in yourself" type of spiels several times over the years, probably what she hears in movies and stuff.

Why are people so surprised that children know elaborate language? It's not like they have stupid, Dora the explorer kind of language skills. I remember watching a movie up and down as a child where someone spoke a lot of latin and I just copied what he said, although I had no clue. The only thing I knew was, people would go ooh and uuh, so I kept doing it. Lilia probably had to learn some poems by heart, or have texts ready that have that kind of language and she just copied it, because she knew Jess would love reading it from her perfect girl.

Language copying is one thing, her texting long paragraphs is another. Most kids I know (advanced even) still send simple texts not paragraphs. Isn't texting supposed to be easier than long conversation?
