Tannerites/YAWI: Failing our kids as they fail homeschool | Part 2

Has anyone watched them from the beginning? I am looking for some insight on why the kids all seem quite socially delayed, with the exception of Daniell. Which is weird, because she is the only one who has been sequestered from her peers. I can understand having a child or two that holds onto interests/behaviors most children their age have long moved on from, but not THAT many. I don't think I have ever even met a teenager whose one birthday wish is a baby doll to role play with and "bath" in the tub. I had a video on my recommend that showed Ali at 13-14 dressed in head-to-toe My Little Pony clothes on her way to school. Where I grew up, she would have been bullied mercilessly. It must take some serious dedication to embrace your inner 5 yr old in a public middle/high school.

Are they just modeling the immaturity of their parents? Is it an escape from all the adult responsibilities piled on these kids? Are they emotionally stunted from neglect? For years now, we know Savannah has had so much anxiety that she becomes physically ill. Did they take her to a child psychiatrist for it? Also, have Savannah and Lizzie always refused to sleep in their beds alone? I still find it strange that the "solution" to Lizzie's confession of being terrified in her room alone was to let her take a blanket onto the floor that one night while Savanah continued to sleep with Canyon in his bed. Most people assume Canyon is half his age (for obvious reasons), and Branson prefers Ninja Turtles, games and collecting bugs in the backyard over dating girls. This can't all be coincidence.

ETA: Tizzy's comment came in when I tried to post. I didn't even consider that Johnny could be be responsible for the porn pop-ups himself. It was such a weird and random accusation to make. You have just upped the creep factor by a long shot, especially considering he is accusing them of getting into "Barbie porn". Is porn based on a child's doll even produced for adults to enjoy alone?

It does appear they do make “Barbie/Ken” related porn but from the search results it’s not a very popular topic and not exactly easy to find.. so I assume there’s not a major calling for it in the adult video world. Lol.. Barbie Porn Ew..

However there are sub-categories which refer to “Barbie Bimbos” which are usually young looking blondes with big boobs, perfect bodies who act innocently dumb. I can definitely see Johnny being into that.

Thanks for taking one for the team! My mind immediately went to a more sinister place. I mean what are the chances a man would be specifically searching for Barbie porn on his young daughter's computer who is obsessed with Barbie? I only know one reason kids are intentionally exposed to this type of content. Everything about the situation makes me shudder. Including the decision to educate the kids about porn rather than using a child-filter on the search engines. Maybe they just consider young women in bikinis to be "porn"? I could see that popping up with an innocent search....although someone would still have to click on it to get the viruses

I’m so glad you guys feel the same way I do, because I have always had this weird gut feeling that Johnny has sexually abused the kids. I hate even typing that. I’m not saying I think he’s a rapist or anything but I can just see him being incredibly inappropriate and crossing boundaries with them. I have always had the WORST feeling about him. And then the fact that they moved? And the kids are homeschooled? Seems like they’re running from something. Maybe someone found out so they had to skip town and start over. It will probably never come out since they aren’t very big on YouTube, but I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see that on the news. Religions like theirs tend to keep this stuff very hush hush though.

In today's vlog Johnny is complaining because Allie and Sarah aren't home and Daniell and Branson were busy and so he had to *GASP* watch his 4 year old!

As Sarah was leaving she told Lizzy that she should brush her hair today. What the heck? Do these kids no regularly brush their hair?

Is Allie not all there? Does she seriously think that a frozen slushie of Dr. Pepper does not count as "drinking soda?"

I'm glad Canyon stood his ground and insisted that he didn't do it. Canyon can be bratty, but blaming him for something he didn't do is only going to confuse him! He won't know when his idiot father is being serious.

I thought it was weird that Allie went to the event instead of Johnny. It appeared to be attended by several Mormon vlogger couples, and Johnny rarely leaves Sarah's side. I am not surprised Lizzie doesn't brush her hair, they are left to fend for themselves.

In the last vlog Sarah was saying that she doesn't usually make lunch because she doesn't have breakfast until after 11:00. No wonder we see the kids eating their first meal of the day in the afternoon (ramen or microwave dino nuggets) and Canyon in pajamas until dinnertime. It was mentioned that in Branson's care he refused (yet again) to get dressed and went back to bed. His parents were home this time, so why was he he allowed to stay in bed/in pajamas until the evening?

In today's vlog, they wouldn't even say what Canyon had done, just that he was acting like a dog. I would normally assume that means crapping on the floor, but they have shown that in vlogs before. What could be worse than that? He also has been turning on the gas on the grill. It's only a matter of time before something awful happens. Also, isn't Canyon about to turn 5? And yes, it was awful that they "prank" Canyon by blaming him for things he hasn't done....he does plenty on his own.

Poor kid is already all screwed up by his parents encouraging him to act out, then laughing and filming him, then acting like he is such a burden.

At what age do kids start school in the US ? At Canyons age I was already in kindergarten (younger than everyone else) but still old enough to be enrolled. I can’t rven imagine this poor kid being ready for school by the time he’s 6. I don’t even want to think about what he did when he was ‘pretending’ to be Charlie like Johnny was talking about Is this kid still in nappies too ???!

Isn't it everytime like this how Johnny is playing with his kids minds?
Blame them on something, no one did or isn't proofed. Prank them, bring them into trouble while laughing or while he's serious. Blame his paranoid thoughts (his so called anxieties) and obsessions (like his possessions/his daughters might be interested in porn, boys, kissing, disobey him) on his children. Make them irritated while making something up as a joke or otherwise, beeing serious about whatever while pranking them. Then he reverse it into the opposite, threatening with some terrible consequences like even more isolation or more control or putting away something necessary or important things from them or humiliate someone in front of the family (Does anyone remember the pillow incident, when Johnny took away Danielles pillow while she laid in her bed, 'cause he was obsessed with the idea that she had token his? Danielle fought for her pillow and for me it looked like she didn't recognized he was serious about that.)

Then he plays a moment with their insecurities after confusing them or even gaslighting them.
He let them know that he's in charge, that he has power over them, that he controls the situation, that only he's allowed to decide right from wrong, truths from untruths and that his children should please him and tell him, that he's a wonderful, godlike being.
Or like to see their fear.
And only this family knows for sure if there's some physical abuse and even more mental abuse. Besides the psychological one we could see already.

I'm sorry for this harsh words, Johnny just disgusting me and that are my concerns about him and what he's doing with his family.
(And I strongly hope that this sexual abuse possibility isn't true, but it wouldn't be surprising.)

I usually steer clear of the tannerites videos because I don't care for challenges and those types of videos, but the one they posted today was just crazy enough to get me to click. It was soo cringey! Allie was dressed up and acting like a princess throwing a tea party for dolls which later "came to life" as Savannah and Lizzy....

It's just so strange to me that Allie is so incredibly immature for her age while at the same time talking about wanting to have babies.....

So, so weird! She's barely 18, still in school, acts like she's at most 10, and than in a creepy weird voice says "I want a baby!". These kids are way too obsessed marriage and children!

So Allie is so behind in school they decide to send her on another weekday vacation with Mom? Even more suspicious that Johnny didn't go on this couple's trip. I am reaching my limit on this family. Days later and the family is still gaslighting Canyon about the painted walls?
