OMG this. I couldn’t agree more. This is one of the reasons why I don’t really like Maddie. I hate how she thinks she’s so much more mature than other teens her age just because she had a kid. Like sure, I guess she had a lot of maturing to do when she became a mother but that doesn’t automatically make her more mature and knowledgeable than everybody else. In my opinion
she still is very much a teenager and has a lot of growing up to do.
I totally agree. Maddie has a lot of growing up to do, sure she maybe knows more about babies than other teenagers but that doesn't make her smarter. I've actually noticed that Maddie is kind of dumb. I don't remember what it was, but in her ancestry video she said something that a lot of people reacted on

YES THAT WAS IT. I was literally like "..". Like first of all, most American people have ancestors from Europe since America was "stolen land" and there are native Americans. Second of all, whites people literally exist everywhere, I am white and European.

Listen, I completely agree that breastfeeding is wonderful and shouldn't be hidden. I breastfed my daughter for a year. But Maddie was posting pictures and videos of herself breastfeeding at 15 years old. 15 year old breasts are child pornography. I know boobs "shouldn't" be sexualized, but they are. And they are especially sexualized with pedophiles who get off on seeing the breasts of a young teenager. If Maddie was a legal adult, then by all means I support her posting her breastfeeding. Breastfeeding isn't pronography but Maddie kept posting it even after court ordered her to take it down, that may have resulted in them taking Everly away because she was putting her child in danger, by exposing her to pedohiles.
And she went about it as if she had to post pictures of her breasts to be an activist for breastfeeding even though she can just talk about it. Breasts shouldn't be sexualized but they are

While I agree that breasts aren’t inherently sexual and neither is breastfeeding, Maddie was being very immature about the whole situation. She posted the picture when the court told her not to, and risked losing custody of her daughter just because she couldn’t post a picture of herself breastfeeding Everly on instagram. She wasn’t being brave or making a bold or empowering statement, she was throwing a temper tantrum because she can’t handle being told no. I’m not against public breastfeeding, I think it should be legalized but not everything is worth sharing online.

I have a cousin that is actually born in the same day as Everly, and he knows the meaning of no and stop. He can't even talk properly yet, but he still listens if you tell him to not touch something, and you don't have to take it away. And I'm not saying this to be like "he's better than Everly" but kids that age understands things if you teach them and it doesn't have to be super strict

She co-sleeps with Everly, both of them are vegan/vegetarian just to name a few examples, and those parenting choices are definitely not “the norm” to say the least. What kind of schooling does she plan for Everly? Homeschooling, maybe?

Yikes Maddie definitely sounds like she’s becoming a carbon copy of her mother. I agree that Maddie should definitely discipline Everly, but it doesn’t have to be too strict. She should’ve been like “Everly, get down from there, that’s not polite” instead of laughing at her and doing nothing about it. I’m not a parent nor am I an expert on parenting, but I think we all can agree that is pretty poor parenting if you ever seen it.

Montessori School
Montessori, as well as Steiner schools are actually really good. (Except that Steiner schools condone and sometimes even encourage anti vaxing).
Although I doubt Maddie wants to send Everly there for educational purposes but rather to say her daughter is special.
