I’ve never watched the Miller’s before but they came up on YouTube for me to watch today. I’m guessing they told Trashley she couldn’t post “their” story today because they were sharing the sons story today. That would be my assumption why she all of a sudden didn’t have it done. I’m sure otherwise she would have tried to post it before the Miller’s...she wouldn’t care.

I’ve just watched the Millers vlog too on what happened to their little guy last Wednesday. At the time of his birth a year or so ago his birth vlog popped up as a recommendation for me. I watched the birth vlog and followed their journey until he came home. And I still check in from time to time to see how he’s doing. His birth and first few days were tough to watch even from the other side of the screen. He’s only just over one and this wasn’t the first time he’s needed significant medical intervention and/or rushed to hospital. So I imagine the events of the past year must still be so raw for them. And that’s without last Wednesday’s incident fresh in their hearts and minds.

If I have my timeframes correct he required CPR, was taken to one hospital and transferred to a more major hospital on the Wednesday and then Doprah had them at her place for the interview on the weekend. I imagine the day was scheduled before that happened so why the heck didn’t Doprah insist that under no circumstances were they to turn up for her self centred little ‘Motivational Monday’ project and to instead take that time to wind down and spend quality time with all of their kids given the older ones witnessed it all and so no doubt are also trying to work their way through their own trauma from what they witnessed.

And to think that the Millers turned up for their interview only days after nearly losing their little guy but Doprah doesn’t even have enough respect to be bothered to edit it and get it out on time. I’d like to think Lac that she held off to give the Millers time to release their vlog but in all due respect I highly doubt it. Firstly because I’m guessing the interview covers the whole story from his birth and not exclusively the events of last week. Secondly because Trashley would take any opportunity to show us all that she’s the decent and compassionate person she thinks she is by saying something along the lines that out of respect she was holding over this week’s ‘Inspirational Monday’ until the family was ready and/or had time to post their own recent update. Plus I felt her “oh well” attitude when she announced the vlog wouldn’t be up was very much along the lines of her not having finished it in time.

Once it’s up it may be one Doprah I watch. The Millers in their vlog kept to the details they were willing and emotionally able to talk about. If Doprah asks them questions to dig for details they don’t want and/or aren’t yet emotionally able to talk about I will be livid.

They seem like genuinely lovely human beings. I'm so sad for them that their child has to live with this condition and how incredibly scary the whole thing must have been. Unless I’m baking, we don’t use sugar in our house, at all. Most of the time we don’t even have sugar in the house. I haven’t baked in over a year and therefore it’s been over a year since we had sugar in the house.
Generally, we get so much sugar in our foods that we don’t actually need to put it on or in our food. Don’t they put sugar over carrots and in tomato purée etc? I’m sure I’ve seen them do that.
I roast parsnips in honey at Christmas time, but if I want to glaze carrots, I just stir in a little butter. Their palates must be completely destroyed by sugar!

I haven’t watched a heap of the Millers vlogs since they brought their little guy home but from what I have I totally agree with you on every point. Their little guy’s condition wasn’t known until he was born and was obviously struggling from the moment he came into the world. He was airlifted to a major hospital only hours after birth.

My heart goes out to you Abbiedownunder for your own experience with your son. I imagine that’s something that would always stay with a parent and I’m sure it wouldn’t take much for you to be back at that day and all the emotions it held no matter how much time passes. Well done to you for trusting you Mama Bear instincts and making yourself heard.

Trashley just doesn’t get it and can’t see beyond her own selfish needs. Hod help her if she ever finds herself in a similar position.

He is now a huge 30 year old bearded teddy bear with a shrill outspoken mama bear. And no, I've never forgotten it. A mother's instinct is more valuable than a medical one as far as I'm concerned.

Wow that’s given me goosebumps Abbiedownunder and I simply can’t read it and carry on without at least saying how much I admire you. I have a rare lung condition and resulting heart failure and so I can put myself in your son’s shoes a little in terms of knowing the pressure that your precious boy’s tiny little body was under and the fear that comes with not being able to get enough air. I can only imagine how helpless you must have felt watching your much loved and wanted baby struggling let alone your concerns at not being heard by the medical personnel. I truly take my hat off to you and I’d bet my last dollar your son is incredibly proud of his Mama Bear. And so he should be.

I think it's more likely Trash had someone else lined up for the Monday vlog but when she saw The Millers IG she immediately contacted them for her "inspirational" story without caring for a minute about giving them time to process the situation, that's Trash. The Millers may have just done it to make people aware how important CPR training is. I doubt we will ever see Trash's video now, think The Millers had second thoughts about letting her put the story out and politely told her no this is our story to tell TYVM, I could be wrong of course.

I truly hope you’re right as you’re right that the Millers did use their vlog to emphasise the importance of CPR training. Where as Trashley will simply exploit and sensationalise their little guy’s story. However, the Millers were also on the weekend “business boot camp” that Trash and Byson went on a while back (the one where Byson spent an insane amount of money on snacks) so it concerns me that the Millers may have felt/do feel obligated to go ahead with it given they’re all a part of the same circle of “vlogger besties”. It concerns me too that it’s a topic that can be emotionally charged for those parents who have lost children or whose children have faced life threatening, life changing or life long medical diagnoses including several of our amazing SISsies here. Trashley does not have the education, experience or sensitivity to understand that the interview and the subsequent editing of the vlog needs to be handled carefully for the sake of both the Millers and the viewers. So for multiple reasons I really do hope you’re right and that the interview doesn’t see the light of day.

Thank you....I wanted to write about the 'crying' for hours but wasn't sure how to word it. First with Trash whispering to the side several times "Oakland is my favorite" over the last few IGs and in this video and then Bison, I think he said it on IG also, but now on the vlog "Trash is Oakland's favorite sister in law". This is with his brothers and their wives being able to view this. As far as Trash's statement, they probably are thankful they are not the 'favorite' because the whole thing of her caring for another person is bullshit and they must all know it.

Trash stated she had no problem with all of the other brothers leaving for service, but when it came to Oakland it was hard to accept. Well sure! He has been your 'boy/man slave' for the past four years, of course you will miss him!
Only now I heard Garrison did go on mission. How does that make you feel Tylard??? All of your other brothers sacrificed and went to mission for two years...Oh that's right... you were too busy sitting on a curb googling eyeing a thirteen year old! Ok, now for little miss Evie...Yes she was crying. Was she crying about missing Uncle Oak? No way. She had some kind of fight in the car that Trash had to go and fix. Evie was probably crying initial because of a fight and then maybe cried because they had to leave Gramma's house with some doughnut holes left inside. Bison comes bumbling into the 'scene' 'What's wrong with Evie? Why is she crying? (hugs her) "Is it because you are going to miss Uncle Oakland?" The kid doesn't talk, so it's left at that. So this was Bison's prediction coming true from the lame debate from Trash & Bison out to dinner with the farewell dinner they attended with the family.
