Sitting in the carpark of the emergency department because esme seems better now, so she hasnt gone in

Ffs, commit to something and see it through. Of course she perks up in the cold air. Her being unwell enough for you to get in the car at midnight and drive to the ER, the reasoning still stands regardless if she seems better NOW.

Do they have insurance?? Racking up hospital bills all over town.

She really is making a mountain out of a molehill. Those girls were climbing and running amok a couple of hours ago.

Stupid stupid me. All these years of frequent hospitalisations (often weeks at a time), GP visits, specialists visits, frequent testing, round the clock monitoring, medical equipment that has to come with me every time I leave my house and enough medications to open my own pharmacy all to manage my lung condition when all I needed to do was drive to an ER and sit outside in the carpark.

Another Aussie hoping that our fellow Aussie SISsies and their loved ones are safe and out of harms way. Huge gratitude to our career and volunteer emergency services for all you do and my hope that each and every one of you returns home safe to your own homes and families.

She is disgusting. She’s trusting her mama instinct? You drove all the way to the ER only to sit outside and decide to go home. What mama instinct is that? Willing to bet both drives to the ER will be front and center of whatever vlog they end up on. She only drove to the ER for vlog footage. She went before midnight this time. Before her sleep could be inconvenienced. Also slightly amused that they did nothing for them when she took Scarlett. So all these people are falling over themselves bringing you food after you rushed your child to the ER. For no reason. Bet you didn’t mention that part to them when you said you went to the ER.

Let's be very generous and assume for a second they aren't exaggerating or making up any of this croup crap. This isn't the first year they have had issues with croup. They know their kids are prone to getting sick. I have three kids and they have never had any sort of respiratory infection or throat issue, and that includes my kid with asthma too! So why in God's name wouldn't they try to give their kids the best chance at staying healthy. For example- feed them whole foods, drink water, get good sleep, don't feed them a weeks worth of sodium at the cooker man every week.

I know kids who eat healthy can still have health issues like this but why the fuck wouldn't you even try?

Right!? Also let’s add ways to not exacerbate our symptoms and how to not spread it to our sisters... Don’t let your sick child run rampant around the house screaming and acting crazy with her sisters. If you took a child to the ER 24 hours prior, they should be resting. Doing quiet activities. And if your other kids are starting to look sick, they should as well. Sweet Evie and Esme are supposedly the sick ones right now. Well, 6 hours prior to the drive to the ER, all 4 girls are screaming and running through the living room climbing on stuff. No wonder why they’re sick and can’t breathe. Also, disinfect your house in hopes of preventing the spread of the illness. Quarantine the kids that are sick and not let them get all up in one another’s faces spreading the illness.

I’m sure “hover mama” is soaking in all the germs in preparation of being “sick” when it’s her turn after Manny returns. Gotta milk this one her direction next.

The ER visit countdown is on. Clearly they didn’t get enough attention yet. Time to cross their fingers than Esme’s O2 sat plummets. They’re disgusting. Maybe instead of letting your children run around like wild animals you make them rest.

Where are they getting the steroids from? Have they taken the child in for proper diagnosis? Is doctor housecall writing scripts? I certainly hope they’re not sharing a prescription among the 4.

Steroids are not benign. It's not like f*cking tylenol. And if they are giving the girls adult doses (as has been said, pediatric steroids are usually in liquid form-- not just for easier swallowing-- it's for accurate dosage) So if they are giving adult doses, no wonder the girls are climbing the walls and can't sleep.
They are worse than stupid. They are willfully ignorant and using their platform as though they are experts. Stupid people can't help it. But these people push away correct information with both hands and then yammer on like a talking version of Dr. Google.

I’m not having a good time emotionally at the moment, as I approach the first anniversary of my subarachnoid haemorrhage next month - so much so, that I can’t bear to watch these idiots atm.
However, I have a couple of observations from the posts here.
First, medication for kids - and especially steroids - are often titres around the weight of the child. It is more than likely therefore that the bigger girls would be on a very different one-off dose than the smaller ones. Secondly, steroids at that stage would be given in liquid form which are deeply unpleasant to take. Where are they getting them from? Is it medication left over from Indie last year? Are they buying them online?
As regards the meal train - here’s my take. Something isn’t write between them and the other vloggers. There was no mention of the Orgills new baby; plus the Orgill kids haven’t been that well with EB having problems with her knee and being on steroids and Ambree had something wrong too. They weren’t invited to any Halloween celebrations, even though others were invited to the Bennett’s (Ohana Adventure).
They are trying to whip up sympathy and favour with all their vlogger besties again, because I sense something isn’t right there.
In a recent vlog Brock and Boston and one of the Shumway kids turned up on their doorstep with one of the Shumway kids to bring them stuff from Fizz! They didn’t do that alone. My guess is that Ashley and Tyson saw them at Fizz on an IG story of Snapchat and persuaded them to bring the stuff over.
Also, this chaotic week while Nanny is gone is probably to make her guilty for leaving them in their hour of need. After all, how dare she be away with Sam and Liam’s kids when they need her!
They are pathetic and desperate!

As previously mentioned I’m regularly on steroids and can vouch for everything the both of you and MervelllaB have just said about steroids and steroid use and share your concerns. If that kid was sick enough to be administered a dose of steroids then she was sick enough to require at least a check over by a medical professional. Especially given they were in the carpark of a hospital for crying out loud. Unless Trash was hesitant cause she knew she was going to get questioned about self administering steroids to a child .

"I am watching a friends kids this week and I absolutely love it! She always leaves me a list (pictured) of expectations, things that are pretty important (like picking up and dropping kids to school), that need priority and attention. It includes bed times and other helpful information. We go over these expectations together until we both feel comfortable with them." She shows the notes left for her from Sam.

I wonder if NinnyAsh had to leave Dumb & Dumber notes about what to do with their own kids while she was gone for the week?

While sitting in the car trying to decide to take Esme inside the ER or not, Trash is blabbering away and she does mention 'another ER bill'. So I guess between saying a prayer and Esme saying she is ok, Esme is not worth having another ER bill. Do I have that correct Trash? You were there! IDIOT!

I watched as much of the insta stories as I could, which wasn’t much.

While snuggling Esme, she says she just realized she doesn’t have a vlog ready for tomorrow (today). Not sure if a vlog is up or not but wasn’t the point of them being 2 weeks “ahead” so the vlogs could edit during the day instead of staying up until the early morning hours as they claimed and have a stockpile of vlogs ready to go?

I’m curious about their access to steroids too. When my daughter had croup she got a single dose of dexamethasone in liquid form. Not an ongoing regimen of them. But I guess if they got prednisolone instead it could be a few days worth. Is the quack doctor calling in “just in case” prescriptions for them? He’s always had questionable practices so I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the case. He likely would be willing to do that to keep the walking circus out of his office. Regardless of the details, it’s bizarre.

I was wondering about that too. If at any case one of the girls got a rx from the ER or even a private doctor, it would be only for that child it was prescribed to, not all 4. A dose for ANY medication could be quite different for one person than it is for the next. Especially where weight is concerned. And anyone can see that the heavier twins are in fact, heavier than the littles. Potentially killing the child it wasn't prescribed for. Damn are these people dumb beyond words. Not to mention, possible allergies to a med that the other girls may not be allergic to. I don't get their way of thinking when it comes to most everything but more so this steroid thing. Where did they get it and how?

As a mom of quadruplets born premature- we know every year that they may develop respiratory issues. We have one who sees a specialist and has an inhaler. We also have our own breathing machines and albuterol, for when breathing is difficult. Because that’s what preemie parents do, we stay prepared.
We are dealing with respiratory infections currently, so on top of cough medicine, they get elderberry syrup, warm drinks (I warm up water with a little honey), and lots of down time. Croup is scary when they are under 3, and we did end up 2 ER visits early on because it got horrible in the middle of the night on a weekend. Otherwise, we’ve always taken them in to get steroids- and the doc often will prescribe for the ones not sick for me to have- as they know all 4 will end up with it. We all know if she’d taken them in the day to the doc, they would have shown that. I don’t know any doc that would just call it in without at least 1 of the 4 being seen.
So she has a pulse ox- but not a breathing machine? That makes no sense!

I’m just beyond annoyed at this family. I get frustrated that they are banking all this money off their kids- and by scamming people. Most families of quadruplets are busting it to make ends meet. Many have parents who alternate when they work to avoid the cost of childcare. These have a nanny while both are home. Most families accept hand me downs and shop consignments. These only buy all matching and rarely, if ever, wear something twice. Most quad families budget and don’t have the luxury of eating out more than once a month. These eat crap food and overindulge in all restaurants.

I am hoping the changes in YouTube will mean they don’t get paid from YouTube. And I hope all MLM companies get shown for what they are and people stop buying into the scam
