They posted about Kelsey graduating from college in June of 2015. Corbin posted about quitting his part-time news job in Portland in May of 2015, which was within weeks of him moving to Portland. I don't know for sure where Kelsey's college campus was but Corbin claims he quit his senior producer job in Medford, Oregon because he wasn't spending enough time with this wife and she had a problem with that. Did her University have a campus in Medford? Regardless of if they were long distance or not, I thought that didn't make a lot of sense to begin with considering he follows up that statement by claiming he took *another* newsroom job in Portland, which is a bigger market and presumably more intense, but this time it was just "part time." How did they plan to survive in Portland and pay the rent on one part time job? And then no job? I'm thinking they wanted to live in Portland and this part-time news job was the best Corbin could get. He can't take responsibility for his choices or his failures so he has to rewrite history. They tried to live in Portland *again* after they got pregnant and that's when Corbin took that administrative assistant job with the Unitarian Church, and we all know how that worked out.

The podcast is called "Art of Visuals Podcast."

Well, the church job had been his job since at least their van trip. That's who he was working for remotely on the road. I'm almost positive it was the same job he got after he quit the news job. There really isn't such a thing as a part-time news producer—especially in a city the size of Portland. And when they were taking off for the van trip he said his job was flexible. There is NO WAY you can work in news while traveling in a van.

Yes, Kelsey went to college in Ashland, which is next to Medford. The timeline of his move to Portland is sktechy because he just suddenly showed up there and they never announced the move or new job before he revealed he quit. And, they were hiding the fact Kelsey was still 300 miles away until she graduated.

They are both big liars.

I think most of us think the original van trip was because they couldn't afford to live in Portland.

My God.....I just listened to that podcast. WOW. Corbin is good at putting on a show.
Clearly he made a YouTube channel to bring in $$$$$$$$$
Stop trying to act like you are some super special videographer who’s videos are absolutely breath taking.
They suck so does their channel, and that’s the reason it isn’t growing.

No matter how pretty he twists his words, he sucks at making videos. His YouTube channel is faaaaaaaaar from “success”
And yes success can mean different for everyone but I mean, when your channel IS NOT growing that only means one thing. Time to move on.

Yeah, I don't really buy his story that working in a newsroom wasn't conducive to having a family and that's why he quit. I don't doubt that it's a demanding job with long hours, and I could absolutely see Kelsey complaining. But I think ultimately he couldn't hack it starting at the bottom of the totem pole in Portland and didn't want to work his way up. He was a "senior producer" in a smaller market like Medford, and couldn't handle the fact that he didn't have the same status in Portland. Rather than put in the hard work and learn from the experience, he abruptly quit and found some way to rationalize it. All of their moves have been impulsive and they've always revolved around Corbin's job situation, likely because he can't work for anyone.

That podcast was weird. When was the last time they did a collab?? They only seemed to work with the Lannings. Who else did they ever collab with??

His job in Medford sort of sounds like BS. Twelve-hour days, daily?? Not likely in sleepy Southern Oregon. Maybe 9 hours (including a lunch hour) and then commute time, but that's 100% a NORMAL job. He's a big cry-baby!

Who would want to marry a wife who complained the husband "works too much" when he's actually working normal hours? It's when you are young that you need to build up your career. Kelsey is also a poor example of work ethic—she has ZERO work ethic.

What a dick to say he "has no idea" how he got so many followers....um, it's ONLY because of the Lannings!

If they are only making real money via brand deals, how are they surviving? I guess IG is their last hope??!!

Just had to add (because I just finished the podcast) that he really must have sucked at working in the news business. Two of my closest female friends are both news anchors (in different cities, and one anchor's husband is also a F/T sports reporter too) and both have little kids. Guess what, they work long hours and their kids are ALIVE!

Corbin and Kelsey are just lazy AF! Their channel is fading fast, so I hope they figure out some REAL careers soon. They are so totally jealous of the Lannings.

If Corbin had stayed at the bigger news station in PDX, he could be making a lot of $$$ by now and they could still live there. I think they just got greedy and lazy and checked out.

I believe they did something with Slyfox and the Johnson Family before they moved to Idaho. It was definitely done to get under the skin of Missy and Bryan. They must have all been pissed when the Lannings didn’t even acknowledge it, lol.

Am I the only one who is tired of their posts that they claim are meant to raise awareness but are really just attention-grabbing, like the newest post on baby blues? They claim "nobody talks about it," but I hear people talk about baby blues all the time. Yes, it's fine to share emotions after having a baby, but don't act like you're helping the world by doing it.

I finally watched their birth vlog today.. I agree, it was the worst I ever saw! Earlier today I watched Shawn Johnson’s video of revealing the babies gender to family. It was basic, but still made me cry. KC’s just made me feel weird lol

I watched Shawn's video too. It was SOOOOOOO much better than the crap Corbin put out. I think Corbin and Kelsey are now just on their own with SM. They don't have any help...and I don't think their family supports what they are doing online.

I think that's because Corbin writes all the SM stuff, so he doesn't realize he's making it look that way. He's writing for himself, then writing for Kelsey. Like I've said before, he's not terribly bright or a good writer/journalist.

It's funny...if he really misses journalism he could work for one of the stations in Boise—there are at least three news stations there. I just think he lacks the talent.

Wow. Little Tater-tot isn't bringing in the income I'm sure Corbin expected. 60K views is MAYBE $200.

One thing that really irritated me about his podcast with his “neighbor” was how he said they don’t follow youtube trends and try to stay authentic.
He mentioned they didn’t really do the pranks when they were really popular...”we did maybe one or two...”
Is FREAKING JOKING!!?! They have a whole playlist of their pranks they did.
