Most parents would love the ability to have so much time to make great meals for their children three times a day. She doesn't need something fancy for all three meals or even at all, but a pouch is hardly even a snack let alone a breakfast.

A one year old is recommended approximately 1,000 calories a day. I bet Emma doesn't even get half of that in a day. No wonder she's so fussy all of the time, that poor girl is starved.

Its not even that hard to feed a toddler. Boil some eggs, scramble some eggs, make sandwiches or toast, actual vege sticks, fruit, yoghurt with a spoon, pizza, noodles, nuggets, chips - anything is better than feeding your toddler baby food pouches.

At that age my kids ate either toast, weetbix or cereal (rice bubbles or corn flakes) for breakfast.
Morning and afternoon teas were homemade muffins (id do a huge batch of 200+ and freeze them to pull out each say) and some fruit or crackers.
Lunch was usually sandwiches, fruit/vege, maybe something like rice crackers, rice cakes, yoghurt/custard. Or leftovers from the previous nights tea. I often had left overs stashed (and frozen) on hand.
Tea was what we ate for tea - my kids would be eating smaller portions of our adult meals - usually with fruit or veges added depending on what was on offer. My then 13 month old used to inhale butter chicken & rice, enchiladas, every kind of vegetable, spag bolognaise, whole chops, soups the works. Adding one kids portion doesnt necessarily mean you need to buy more meat, just cook more carb (potatos, rice, pasta) and vege portions and stretch the meat to make it work.

They are so stupid though. Baking and meal planning is beyond her.

We have three school aged kids and i meal plan. I know whats for tea for the next 6-8 weeks and have a list of “back up/swap out meals”. With those next 6 week meals - i have a list of what I need to add to my groceries prior to that week to be able to complete the meals (most i have either the meat or base ingredients for not often both). I order my groceries online and one of us collects them from the store. I am by no means a perfect parent or overly organised - i do however take pleasure in knowing whats for tea without the daunting task of checking the cupboards or freezer and having to make that decision on the day. Tomorrow night is nachos, i have brought a “two meal” pack of ground beef (800g-1kg) and will cook it all and split it in half and then add a bolognaise sauce to it and fridge/freeze that portion for another meal down the line.

Can we please not start sharing our menu plans again? Literally no one cares what you feed your kids. We went through this a few threads ago already.

Did anyone notice how extra annoying she was in the vlog with her hs friend? I felt so much secondhand embarrassment. She was trying sooo hard to sound like they were having sooo much fun and her friend was just not feeling it lol

And there are foods that can make cats/dogs sick! I always remember seeing that cat walking all over their counter and table when they lived at the other place. I know cats clean themselves constantly but my cat knows she is not allowed up there (at least when we're watching because cats are sneaky lol). I'm honestly not surprised that they allow that though, considering everything else. They've already proved that they don't care about their pets health as well as their daughter's. Who knows if they even clean the litter box regularly. Ick.

Hearing can change over time. My son was a late talker and passed his hearing test at birth but was still retested at 12 months. Ear infections can affect hearing too and if they missed it and let it get out of hand which I know is hard bc you usually know when your child is sick, she could be losing hearing. My cousin needed tubes in his ears and became deaf because he didn’t get them so it’s possible she can’t hear as well as she did at birth. Would explain why she doesn’t react normally and doesn’t talk much.

My son had hearing problems because of ear infections (he would never have a fever and the only way I knew he had an infection is when his ear drum would rupture and I would see leakage from his ear.) He had two rounds of ear tubes and I put him in speech so he can relearn letter sounds (for 6 months before his second set, he was hearing like he was underwater and his speech suffered)

But not responding to her name (I’ve seen it before in vlogs) is a sign of being on the spectrum. I know it was mentioned before but with her delayed speech, it would make me concerned as a Mom.

When I worked in day care, that’s how we alerted one of the Moms in the class because she would come in to pick up her Son and she would call his name. He wouldn’t turn to look at her. There were other factors of course.

I still don’t see *any* Rachelle in her besides the nose even with these side by side pics so I’m very curious to see what the twins will look like. I’m betting a boy will end up looking more like Rachelle because in general I feel like baby girls always end up looking like their dads anyway.

I think cat owners who let their cats walk on counters, stove tops, dining room tables, etc. are disgusting. Uncooth, unsanitary, and unhealthy. Sorry not sorry. Image My ex had a cat that would just finish taking a shit in the litter box, then walk all over the counter, and he'd just start cooking. Wtf. I knew someone who had a cat and they'd sit at the dining room table, eat their food, and the owner would just start eating the food from the same bowl and not care. I bet Rachelle lets Mister eat whatever measly food Emma has on her highchair then lets Emma eat after the cat. I bet that's the only reason they keep Beau around too... As a vacuum since Rashy is too lazy to do anything.

Is this Emma’s first time seeing a vacuum cleaner? It’s on her IG stories.

How has this child not seen one in her 15months of life?!?

She didn’t even know what to do with it and didn’t seem interested at all. My kids swarm around me all excited when I bring out the vacuum. Emma’s reaction is that of someone who doesn’t even know what it’s supposed to do.

I agree. I’m not saying she is definitely on the spectrum, but I will say when I’ve watched some vlogs the thought has crossed my mind. My toddler has high functioning autism and I see some similarities from when he was that age, but she should get hearing checked for sure. I’m no expert but from what I see she is developmentally delayed, after my son’s hearing was checked we were already getting him started into an early intervention program before he was 18 months.

If you think about it, anyone can be on the spectrum. It’s the amount of things you have that are on the spectrum which gives you a diagnosis.

Not that I would want to vlog my special needs child, but Rachelle could really reach a ton of viewers if she accepts that Emma is delayed and shows the process in which she gets Emma tested and diagnosed. She asked about speech on instagram... why not in her vlogs? She’s not being real at all. It’s all rainbows and sunshine for her. The more Moms/viewers that see the process and that they’re not alone, the more people are comfortable with getting their children tested.

Your 2 year old is smarter than a 24 and 25 year old 🤣 that cat has been doing it for so long it would probably be difficult to train him not to and anyway they're too lazy to put in that kind of effort

Oh wow the cat thing is disgusting
Also, why won't she give emma food on a plate and teach her to use utensils?
Because she is lazy and meal time for emma is like a break for them, they just leave her to her own devices.
I guarantee emma will be eating with her hands even when she's 2 because she does not get exposed.
Even my 10month old is trying to use a spoon and by 18months kids can learn.

We have these family friends that own three cats. All three of them are black, so you can easily distinguish their fur.

I remember one time when we were at their house for some holiday, we were eating ice cream. Since I’m picky and also plain with food, I ate vanilla ice cream (as usual).I was barely even halfway done with the ice cream, when I saw a black hair in it. I didn’t eat anymore. There was another occasion where my brother and I were there for dinner, and I found a black hair in my glass of milk, and couldn’t drink anymore.

I like having my goldfish because I know she won’t make a mess in the house.😂
I can smell bullshit from a mile away. :P
