Re: The Lindquists: Welcome to hELLE | Part 2
Lol me again.
I got to the part where she talks about what she won’t do. She said she can’t in good conscious make clickbait content. She says she doesn’t want to exploit her kids. While I admit she’s much better than a lot of youtubers, she’s certainly no saint when it comes to vlogging.
She often still clickbaits and does everything she said she never wanted to do.

Re: The Lindquists: Welcome to hELLE | Part 2
Well that was a waste of my time. She’s doing the same things she’s already been doing, focusing on “DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BUSY STAY AT HOME MOM” vlogs. Less kids (they are barely there now?)
I think you ladies are right, this change is to keep herself monetized and because she’s realized through stalking here that when her kids are in videos it’s easy to see through her BS and identify her fake and toxic treatment of her children. If she removes them, she can continue to pretend to be mother of the year with staged photos on IG.
I don’t believe she actually cares about her kids safety at the expense of becoming YT famous. I also don’t believe she isn’t chasing fame.
And yep, she looks like trash. Her hair is unwashed and greasy and she can’t keep her hands out of it. Her lips looks awful, like a blow up sex doll lol. And the sound quality is so terrible!

She click baited her finger, mentioned in this very video how many new subs she got from it, then goes on to say she doesn’t click baitForeverGauc01 wrote:Lol me again.

She clickbaited her mother’s substance abuse struggles. She made it seem like they were her own, but as far as I know, she’s never talked about her own. So she can exploit her mother’s struggles while she’s not alive to defend herself of give consent for Elle to do so, but Elle won’t talk about her own struggles. Makes sense.

Her 'mission statement/code of ethics' is a doozy. Great for a drinking game for every time "Elle Lindquist" is used--she needs an editor. Also, again with trying to justify deleting comments--just ridiculous. I think her channel is a big fail and the fact that she censors comments is part of the problem. Makes me wonder how much negativity she receives; because maybe if it is overwhelming she should look at herself as possibly being the issue.

Re: The Lindquists: Welcome to hELLE | Part 2
I'm 7 minutes in the video and I can't keep focused on it. Nothing has changed. Elle wants to rebrand for the sake of improving her channel. I read her manifesto last night and it was the same things she was doing or appearing to do before. Everything is just so Elle focused. I took a sabbatical... I allowed myself to be still... if you didn't know I'm an abuse survivor... I'm writing a memoir... I'm not a Youtuber who wants to be famous... it's just so many I's in her video and every video. A true community is focused on the people not on one person. Elle essentially wants a community that benefits her.

Re: The Lindquists: Welcome to hELLE | Part 2
Yup. She is totally exploiting her mother's life for her own benefit. I've seen draw my life videos talking about abusive family members but never solo videos dedicated to it. She won't even acknowledge where her dad was during the time of abuse. Well she probably can't because her dad is still around and she can't make a video about how he abandoned her without wrecking their relationship.ForeverGauc01 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 12, 2019 7:57 am She clickbaited her mother’s substance abuse struggles. Just read her manifesto. All the 3rd person references to herself, insane repetition of the same buzzwords (“Empower!” “Positive!”). She is actually going off the deep end. Cringe. If I were a sponsor I’d run for the hills.

Hahahaha, I can’t stop giggling at Dans tool belt! He strapped on an entire tool belt to hang a curtain rod!
Elle’s living room stresses me out. She has so many little pieces tossed in there, it looks like a cluttered mess. I have design ideas for her, but they are clearly too grown-up for her taste, so I’ll keep them to myself. But seriously... curtains with tassels for your living room Elle? Reserve that for your daughters bedroom. Grow up.

Re: The Lindquists: Welcome to hELLE | Part 2
Does Article have a store? I'm sure they are good quality but their prices aren't that affordable either. If I'm buying furniture I'd like to see it in person first to be sure. The tassel curtains are very dorm room chic. I also wouldn't go for the lightning she picked for the bedroom. It's been said here a lot of times before but I just can't justify the cost of those high chairs. I'm not sure why Ford and Cohen still need them. I do like the leather chairs in the living room but it looks out of place with everything else she has in there.

Elle’s latest Instagram post: “I’ve flown with babies quite a lot”..... can anyone name a time that she has flown with a baby besides today? I’m genuinely stumped. She’s making it out like her and her family are globe trotters. Yea, ok Elle she’s a fraud even in her “new era”

I think they visited friends in Tennessee years ago, but I thought they drove even then.Margie wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2019 6:23 pm Elle’s latest Instagram post: “I’ve flown with babies quite a lot”..... can anyone name a time that she has flown with a baby besides today? Re: The Lindquists: Welcome to hELLE | Part 2
I was thinking the same thing! I think she took Forde once on a trip to NYC when he was a wee baby. She’s literally never shown her flying with her kids since then and we all know she would have filmed it and posted it if she had! She never goes anywhere with her kids unless she absolutely has to.Margie wrote:Elle’s latest Instagram post: “I’ve flown with babies quite a lot”..... can anyone name a time that she has flown with a baby besides today? I don’t get her obsession with plumping up her lips?? JUICY LIPS. She just claimed she was done with trying to “keep up with the other (ie. more successful) youtubers by being more natural but then continues to inject her lips ! Girrrrrrrrl they don’t look natural on Kylie so they sure the hell don’t look natural on your cheap ass lips.
And I just saw her Article vlog with all the free furniture. I’m glad she has read our comments about how shitty her living room is and lacked seating but..... did she seriously pick out two leather chairs? I get that they were free but her whole vegetarian stance just keeps getting thrown out the window ( PICK A LANE ELLE ).

Elle: donates her perfectly good, practically new, expensive brand name clothes so she can meet her unrealistic goal of a perfect capsule wardrobe
Also Elle: goes to NYC one month after dumping perfect clothes and purchases new clothes, while simultaneously uploading a video on a cancelled Costco membership that most likely spews some shit about being minimalistic

Double post, but also willing to make bets as to wether or not Elle participates in a Costco sponsorship in the next two years.

Re: The Lindquists: Welcome to hELLE | Part 2
I'd really like to see Elle grocery shop or a haul at least. She thinks Costco isn't worth it and gives not having natural deodorant and eco friendly detergent available as an example. If she actually looks into food prices there are good savings you can make. But she barely feeds herself and her family from what she's shown before so I guess that's why Costco isn't for her.

Re: The Lindquists: Welcome to hELLE | Part 2
Sorry but I had to add... I wonder if she's referring to finding better prices in her preferred boujie Longo's. That would be unbelievable to me since it's like the priciest grocery store in Ontario.
Re: The Lindquists: Welcome to hELLE | Part 2
Costco DOES have eco friendly detergent though. Maybe she didn’t look hard enough. Or maybe it isn’t “clean” enough for Miss Botulism face.
