It's actually against the rules of YouTube. But they don't care because the money just keeps rolling in, so they don't enforce it. They enforced it for about a month when advertisers put pressure on, because some viewers actually expressed concern to the advertisers. YouTube demonetized the Orgills and a few other channels for a few weeks, then told them what the "new rules" were, gave them back their monetization, and once the advertisers calmed down, it went back to business as usual. Some channels (Daily Bumps) changed vlog titles for a couple of weeks, (like "Baby Trapped in a Waterpark" was briefly changed) then changed them right back. And nobody seems to care.Lak wrote:I think it is deplorable to be able to clickbait hospital visits, injuries and health scares of young children to bring in views which equals money. It’s bad enough they are allowed to be vlogged. But, when they are in a vulnerable state it’s even worse. Please make it stop!!!!
