Hi,
My name is Carrie & I live In Gig Harbor Washington ( abt an hour away from Seattle) and far, far away from any craziness of this family invading our tiny part of the world, lol.
I am new to this board but not to “mom of ten” you tube videos. Can you imagine watching all of this for months, feeling like I was the “crazy”
one...thinking something was terribly off with
this family?
Nef screaming and terrified at Disney Paris finally gave me enough keywords to find this board. I no longer feel alone while watching this train wreck of a family.
I really appreciate the humor & goodwill of all those who have posted.

I am in Canada. I can't remember when I started watching; maybe over the Summer. I was first interested because of her clean, minimalist style and because I was curious at how they could afford 10 children and the lifestyle they were living. I started getting turned off because of how secretive she is about her religion, and the rumors of the cult they belong to. Her seeming to want to push her children into the limelight and early marriages without ever first living or working outside of the home. I was also interested in how smart the kids were after her claim that they were raising geniuses, but I see no sign of that with a single one so far. I also find her rather careless at times with the children's health and safety and she never addresses what is going on with Nef's teeth or Omega's face.

I am 49 and Polish, but living with my Scottish hubbie in East Anglia. I am a doctor working as a Forensic Medical Examiner for the local Police:) I have been watching the Horde since November 2018, when they appeared in my recommendations and I got drawn onto the aesthetics of their house and ot intrigued by that family ( I know many big families - the biggest one I personally know is 14 kids )

Can yall imagine living a normal life, but theres one person in your family that is delusional and talking to herself constantly and to a camera, in some sort of fake voice, on a daily, and forcing the family to act a certain fake way for certain times of the day... and then you start to see your younger siblings also act just as stupid as that one person.... I get why the two quieter boys are the way they are...

Fortunately we don't have huge amusement parks here and they have already been twice near the border without entering the country, wish us luck!

I am 26, have russian origins and grew up near Frankfurt, Germany. But currently I am doing the master's program in psychology in Salzburg, Austria, so you can imagine me cringing while watching her videos about it... Don't let me even start. I think Lalelou123 can relate

I've never ever watched family vlogs before (didn't knew this was a thing), but like with most of you, it was about November last year, she appeared in the my recommendations with her mom of 10 morning routine. Just clicked because of interest and since then analysing them
Just joking about that, since this is impossible from the far and I agree that we should be careful with diagnosis.. Also we obviously don't see their "real life" off camera..
But what Taina wants us to see and how she wants to be seen says aaaaa lot about her

Also homeschooling is completely forbidden in Germany (every single kid has to visit a school until they finished at least 9 grades or are 18 years old) and I've never met a person in my life who was homeschooled, so I have a special fascination for their lifestyle and how this is even possible in Europe

Pennsylvania, near Harrisburg, Ashley. My husband’s parents were some of the first to build in King of Prussia, across from the mall.

Retired art teacher and did volunteer work for just about every organization in town. My activities were curtailed with my aforementioned surgery. TT popped up around the same time as others. Something seemed amiss when she had the 4 littles ones lined up on the floor and they didn’t move off the blanket.

Wow! I love the King Of Prussia Mall! I go there about twice a week! That’s very cool! I love that mall! Since I go to Philly so often it’s easy to hit up the mall on my way back to the Allentown area!

Once again, King James is being left out. She let Aphrodite and Omega each pick out a toy shark at the gift shop. Apparently the boys are to share theirs and the girls are to share theirs. Omega is playing with the shark and king James is watching and says “I want a shark” multiple times until Taina says “you’ll get a go at the shark soon. Don’t want to end up with too much stuff!” If you’re not gonna buy some thing for all the littles Taina, don’t buy anything at all. I have a niece and a nephew, they’re twins, I would never buy them a toy to “share”. They all need to feel special.
