After they knock all the walls down to the studs I dont think it will be considered a “old house” lol it definitely wont look like one the inside will be all new construction while the outside looks like crud.

Fair point lol. Also I’d like to place a bet that they’ll finish renovations within a year and Megan will be ready for a move around year two when she’s run out of projects and furniture to move around.

Just think of the GAS they will save since they don't have to drive to the thrift store now! I've got $5 on one of the adopted kids getting a job there so they can pre-pick disgusting thrift store smelling junk for the Magaroonie. Do I hear $10??

LMFAOOOOOO!!!!!! Oh my GOSH! This all makes sense now! She can furnish her home with allllll the findings she brings home! Which we knew she would do anyways but now its walking distance! And yes I see Esther being pushed to work there and have to lug home all of Meggies goodies she sends on a list for Esther.
I know you all already know this, but yikes...this house is so bad and them just walking around randomly making up where stuff could go really didn't help. It sounds like they didn't consult with a builder or contractor at all prior to buying. Oh let's just randomly have stairs in the middle of the house and we will add on an entire second story...no big deal you guys! We know what we want and this is our perfect house!

I honestly thought she was playing a prank on the kids. The place is a disaster. Are they gonna do the work themselves? I can’t wait to see the shitshow ensue. What about the RV? What about all her crap she has collected? Mike looked shellshocked, tbh. How are they going to fit all those people in that house? You know Meggie and her boy toy won’t be giving up their room. I really do question why they adopted 5 children, seeing she's trying to push her 9 kids out of HER space and let go of responsibilities that come with having kids. They both seem to want to live the couple lifestyle. For example, ... since their golden boy is gone and was designated driver for Daniel and Esther most of the time, Megs is now having to carry the load and drive their kids all around town. So her 'brilliant' idea is to buy an very small home, close to town, walking distance thus not having to drive her kids everywhere. The small home also nudges poor Daniel and the older kids to want to move out.
I blame MIKE for this. He is clearly a covert narcissist, but is not completely as far out of touch with reality as her. He needs to stop the nonsense. I love how the video started and he said, something like, woe, we're going back that far?! Said it in such a way as please let me know what you are talking about so I can try to make my story match yours so people won't think all of these years of moving, travelling, and moving some more is all you. Let me try to show I am on board so it looks like I have some semblance of some balls.
I do give him credit for kind of speaking up every now and then, but then she goes on for an hour about why her latest idea is perfect for them, and he agrees, but I don't think he really does agree always.
I think he is lazy. There...I said it...Lol! Her antics got him out of the normal 9 to 5. He was not working in his field, not making a lot, and not happy. Traveling in the r.v. grew their channel and no doubt their business, as people wondered how they had the freedom to travel, and many signed up under them. So again, business was growing, channel was growing, and he was happy with that. Can he really stand up to her even if he wanted to though? I just don't think it is possible. He needs to walk away and start taking care of the kids.
This latest move is all about Megan and her obsession with Joaana Gains. On another board someone who new them said they were only going to travel a little while originally, then move to the Waco area, and be on Fixer Upper, because Megan said they would definitely get picked for the show with all of their internationally adopted special needs kids. Nice, Megan.
They are very high up in DoTerra...why can't they just buy a normal, nice house that is already fixed up and plenty big. Oh, that wouldn't give her any YouTube content. She constantly says she doesn't think they are interesting if they are not travelling. They have so many kids with different interests, needs, etc., How could that not be more than enough "content" if they are so worried about their channel. Oh wait, featuring the kids would not happen...ever, anymore especially. It is all about Megan!!!
These houses they are renting can not be cheap. If you can rent such nice houses, and still travel, and all, how can you not get a mortgage on just about anything? Again, I think they probably can do better, but Megan wants to do a fixer upper so bad she can't stand it.

Honestly I think it was for the novelty of having a large family. Many MANY LDS families are large and this took the burden off of her to carry all the babies. Also, I think they thought it was a good idea at the time, but as time passes and the needs of the kids increase in terms of social aspects, they didn't realize it would be so much work. Plus it plays into Megan's constant need for validation and attention. "Awh! Look at sweet Megan Knorpp, adopting all of those special needs babies from China, bless her heart....." I did notice that all of the kids that have special needs are not anything that needed immediate or serious intervention. -Esther, scoliosis, but not too bad. Pearl, her back issue so we can call it one of a kind and that no one knows what to do with her so we can say she's perfect the way God made her. Eve- Megs even admitted she isn't severe...unlike other families that were there adopting THEIR down syndrome babies at the same time that were "much worse off' than Eve...and then Jude, who already had his interventions and surgeries prior to adoption, so easy peasy. It's just enough to say special needs and have that super special sound to it...but not enough to actually DO anything. Kinda like how they treat their education. Funny how that works. I have friends that have adopted from China so kids that couldn't have their specialized treatments in China could get them in the USA with them, like cleft pallets and such.

You mean to tell me the genius Andrew hasn’t found a way to create a teleportation device so all the kids can travel where they need to be on their own time instead of Meggies? Wtf! SHAME ON HIM

With Eve, it could be either/or. Many people with DS have speech delays, or highly limited speech. One girl I work with communicates more so through a talking board than vocally, though she can vocalize some speech. Delays in how she acts/reacts could also be either/or as well. If she has both autism & DS, then the autism is likely going to remain undiagnosed because there is little or no outside intervention for someone to see the signs and recommend getting her tested. I doubt Meggie would go out of her way to address further issues unless professionals requested it right up front. Instead, she'll claim we're all haters who don't know what we're talking about.
Had she been seeing the same medical professionals regularly (which is not possible first because of the adoption, then the traveling the US, then abroad, then living in Utah, then moving here), she would likely have had early intervention on a variety of levels and courses that would have not only assisted Eve in her daily live, but taught those around her how to adjust and accommodate her needs.
Megan would rather pretend all is well, and tell us we don't see everything- and we don't, but we don't see any change in how Eve is interacting with her family, and that alone is a very strong indicator that nothing is being done to assist her.
I saw Megan showing Eve Flash cards with words on it on instagram. I understood every word she spoke. Why doesn’t she speak so well on the vlogs? All Eve says is “dah”. I know she can speak clearly because I heard her.
Meg's and Mike are so disrespectful of the previous owners, saying 'it smells', making fun of the house, grinning in embarrassment throughout the vlog, cringing at the hand towel and soap the previous owner kindly left them. They hide behind the Mormon facade, trying to look humble but instead are stuck up snobs!
