Yeah, that was a bit weird. I would have called or dropped in to speak in person and find out how to best go about the situation. Then again, that's just me.

Also, I thought Ben quit but he is still part of management?!

I didn't watch the full video so I'm not quite sure what was mentioned about Ben, but I watched them a few weeks ago when they mentioned Ben possibly quitting. I don't think he's actually quit yet; his Chik-fil-a is under construction and closed, instead of working at a diff location he decided to stay home til they reopen. And if all works out with youtube, he was planning on returning and training someone new to take over if I'm correct? I most definitely think he is going to quit, no question about it. I just think he has to wait til they reopen their location.

I haven’t been on this thread in some time and was reading when I saw this. Why would you quit your job for Youtube? It’s so unstable and dumb. I feel like they must be getting money from somewhere else like a few others have mentioned. I mean they don’t have a high number of subscribers, and Ben’s not even working right now.

I don't plan on watching the new video but it's pretty sick and disgusting if you ask me. "The baby isn't moving..34 weeks pregnant" with Katie looking sad in the thumbnail. I don't know what the situation is, but to hint in the title something about the baby not making it is disgusting and a desperate click bait cry to get views, and ultimately make more money. These people get worse and worse.

I honestly like Katie and Ben the most out of the teen parents’ community. They seem to be very mature and Ella is actually really cute and respectful. I feel like they have their priorities straight and don’t cause unnecessary drama.

I think in some of their videos they mentioned wanting to have lots of kids, so maybe they wanted to start early. They seem to have a good relationship like you mentioned but it seems so risky to rely solely on a Youtube channel that is not hugely popular yet.

I feel like in their case, it’s still valid for them to be having another baby. They’re 21 now and it’s acc not true that they’re solely relying on YouTube. Ben is still working at Chic-Fil-A, he always goes to ‘work’ and he’s helping with whatever changes they were making at the branch he was working for. They’re good parents and they’re raising Ella well.

This. You have two babies, why wouldn't you want to make extra money to put away if you're doing so well (which like you said, can't be THAT much). YouTube isn't forever. YouTube isn't stable. I don't understand how anyone, especially a smaller YouTuber, can feel stable with that. This is how it always starts with YT families. The dad decides to quit his job, then he becomes very lazy. Plus... the new FTC rules coming this upcoming year...sigh. I just don't understand how this is a good idea.

This whole situation will bite them in the asses one day. I just can’t get over how much help they have to just rely on YouTube like this. My mom literally had no help raising my siblings and me when we were younger. She was and still is very far away from family. My dad was there, but he was always working, and I guess thought all the housework was for my mom.

They have to realize that they’re 21 and 20, which is still very young, and that they’re not old people that are retired or millionaires that can do Youtube as some hobby.

Yep, he’ll be like Jesss’s husband Chris. Playing Fortnite for hours on end eating Cheetos. Maybe I’m too traditional, but I wouldn’t be able to get horny for my husband if he quit his job to play video games and be a house husband when I’m already a stay at home mom. No, go be manly and work like a god damn hardworking man! Nothing is a bigger turn-off to me than a lazy ass man.

I agree that Ben shouldn’t have quit his job but at the same time, if they say they’re supporting themselves, good for them. And he at least knows what it’s like to have a job (unlike other youtubers) and the people at his workplace really seem to like him so I would assume he could go back if he wanted, in case YouTube doesn’t work for them in the future.

I honestly love how Cam is ignoring Zoe and not saying anything about her, while Zoe is still talking shit. Along with how Zoe’s still using God to make excuses for acting the way she is.

They were never besties. Zoe was using Cam for her own selfish benefits to boost up her channel.

Zoe got (stupidly) angry at Cam for arriving on the wrong day for Wilder’s birthday party. She arrived the day after, and had missed the party. I thought this was so stupid because the kid will have plenty of more birthdays because he’s 2.

I think Zoe just somehow wanted to get rid of Cam, and this was her way.

...and to add on to this: he could always go back to his old job or a similar one. he has at least experience and a good reference. he mentioned in his video that they do have other things coming up as well, so maybe he finally starts his training to become a firefighter sooner or later.

It doesn't seem like very many people watch them but I actually really like them (minus the whole them being conservative thing) and enjoy their videos. Anyway based on lack of social media activity from both Ben and Katie I think/hope today was her induction day.
