I have a s'mores cooker (my sister got me it for Christmas a couple years ago) and no, it's not supposed to have a flame. The "flame" is essentially a hot plate. I could tell when the kids were biting into the s'more that the maker must have at least softened the marshmallow. If it was still gelatinous, the graham crackers would have broken upon being bitten.devilishtenshi wrote: ↑Tue Nov 12, 2019 1:57 pm I feel like that smore cooker in her new sponsored video wasn’t working. They all looked like their marshmallows were not cooking and I saw no flame? Is it suppose to have a flame?

Re: ThisGatheredNest | Part 2
Have their videos always been a forced production? I only started watching this year but these infomercials appear to be getting worse and worse. She wasn't kidding about not liking YT but having to pump out loads of content to get paid
I don't know if it's just a cultural difference but that Christmas infomercial was ridiculous to have already happened. We also do cosy Christmas movie night with a projector and hot chocolate, but it's a surprise in December. I can't imagine having to force my kids to act that out in the middle of the day almost 2 months before Christmas, getting into their pjs etc so they can get paid. It seems like it would really steal the magic away from actual Christmas family festivities. I almost feel sad for their situation, but they chose to have so many kids and quit their jobs. The clothes and things were cute but it's a shame they have to produce this stuff to pay for their growing family.
I wonder if Angie will continue to fake happy to sell us more crap on both her channels, or if she'll talk about real life and vlog more. The few times i've looked on her IG she hasn't had any stories up. Does she ever do stories and capture more candid moments and real life stuff, or is she just a selling machine?

I also think I prefer her husbands vlogging and sense of humor, it seems more genuine. So he cooks and cares for the kids, educates them and vlogs. What is she really there for

What a surprise, her expensive snoo didn't work lol. That poor baby, he has so much going on with his health. I hope they find something soon to help him.
Re: ThisGatheredNest | Part 2
The rush for Christmas content is definitely an influencer’s “Christmas”, not reflective of American culture. We don’t do anything Christmas in my house until Thanksgiving and my birthday are over (my husband’s rule, lol). Blogger/Insta families are basically living advertisements, the big box stores like Target use them to promote their junk. I’m sure Angie hates selling her family, but how else is she going to pay for a family of 10 and still be home all day?wasteoftime wrote:Have their videos always been a forced production? It seems the only videos we see anymore are sponsored, because she gets paid for those and they are contracted to do them. Her comments are still disabled, so I don’t know if non-sponsored content is still demonetized. The one she just did for Robitussin was pretty awful, for some reason I can see her blasting essential oils before putting cough medicine in her body.

Re: ThisGatheredNest | Part 2
All her speech about there is no higher archy of love and the boys are always on bikes yet how quickly she films everybody equally when she's getting paid
Re: ThisGatheredNest | Part 2
Now that you mention it her non-sponsored content being demonetized still would pull a lot of points together. Stress and anxiety from lowered income and concern over future, frustration and not being into creating at the same level, “Stress” they are not sharing on camera, and the fact she’s continually mentioning that she is not just a family vlog. She has said this so many times and said that that has been how it “always has been” She has said this so many times I’ve definitely got the impression she’s not talking to us but rather to YouTube!Tweedles3 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2019 10:07 am It seems the only videos we see anymore are sponsored, because she gets paid for those and they are contracted to do them. I noticed this too, it seems to be the only time they film together.Beccaboom22 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2019 1:28 pm All her speech about there is no higher archy of love and the boys are always on bikes yet how quickly she films everybody equally when she's getting paid
I also totally get the impression she's talking to YT. I wonder if she'll ease up on that after the changes are made in Jan.
Re: ThisGatheredNest | Part 2
From the looks of them in that thumbnail, I’d say so. She really looks like she has hot dogs glued to her face. Not a good look!
Re: ThisGatheredNest | Part 2
Watching the video. First off, why is she talking like that? Secondly her lips are gross. And she says she has to “go get Christopher up” but she appears to be in a bedroom and talks about needing to go downstairs to get Grandnonna situated so she’s clearly upstairs in a bedroom. Odd.
Re: ThisGatheredNest | Part 2
I would bet that they are sleeping separately each with a twin each since they are all out of routine. I get the impression that Ange goes to bed earlier with Amelia and Benjamin and then CR later with Ivy. Pure speculation.HCB wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2019 3:05 pm Watching the video. And her poor lips. She is an attractive women and has no need to ruin her face with fillers IMO.

kennedy knows more about her sister's state than her mother...who tries to milk the fact that the little one is in pain when the oldest says "she usually runs around"
Re: ThisGatheredNest | Part 2
Am I the only one who thinks it’s weird that they took all the kids to finalize Benji’s adoption when one of them had just had surgery? I get that it’s about the family for them, but I guarantee you a two year old would rather be at home resting in her own bed, rather than going on a five hour road trip
Re: ThisGatheredNest | Part 2
She also took a phone call with the adoption agency which they couldnt talk about in full. I wonder if they are still tied into some advertisement/promotion with them? Maybe a post family shot was part of the agreement?jle0906 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2019 1:58 pm Am I the only one who thinks it’s weird that they took all the kids to finalize Benji’s adoption when one of them had just had surgery? Both the adoptive mom and dad would need to sign documents to finalize the adoption at court I assume so one couldn’t stay behind. They have a large family so it’s a lot to ask someone to watch them all. Maybe they didn’t have anyone to babysit so they just took everyone. It would of been nice to at least leave the twins home if possible and someone watch them there...

Re: ThisGatheredNest | Part 2
They just had that big trip to San Francisco and left all the kids except for Benji so it seems possible. I wouldn't have wanted a just operated on 2 year old to take that trip.. no wayEmily81 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2019 3:34 pmGrandma could stay home with the babydevilishtenshi wrote:This could be true but I think they didn’t have a choice.Pina wrote:

Re: ThisGatheredNest | Part 2
I have a one year old and three year old and they find long periods in a car seat super uncomfortable so i can't imagine after an operation. I get the picture was really sweet and it's lovely photo for Benji but they could have had a welcome to the family party for him when they got back and took a similar photo.

Re: ThisGatheredNest | Part 2
She posted on her story that she doesn't want Grand Donna to leave and is rethinking having a live in nanny If it's too hard for *2* stay-at-home parents to raise 8 children, maybe she should have reconsidered collecting children for content
