Taina Licciardo-Toivola: All dressed in white, teeth too bright | Part 3

Hi all,

Have never posted on a forum before but I have been lurking for a little while. I remember when the morning routine video popped up in my recommendations about a year ago, I was astonished by it all - most of all the bottle rot (not sure if that was apparent in the first video or if that came later). Now I really cannot believe the madness, I don't have an instagram so I don't know what is going on over there but are people really watching this woman and thinking anything positive? On this European trip her children have been exposed to the sun without protection way too much, I think it is totally unacceptable to allow your children to get sunburned and hers mostly look like they have been. I just watched the one where they are trying all sorts of Latvian food, can't help thinking those younger kids always seem to be starving as they wolf down whatever is in front of them, I know it's good to have your kids arrive hungry to meals but also based on what we see her feeding them... seriously, feed your kids properly lady, they must have been so appreciative of some fatty fish and was it some sort of smoked meat (I am certainly not opposed to a vegan diet but I am pretty sure she should be paying more attention to nutrition than she is).
Anyway I know I am not really adding anything new I just wanted to share my piece, I wonder if anyone has confirmed who her parents are/where she was born and raised? I am from NZ and she strikes me as a classic Aussie bogan - we have our fair share of bogans here too they are just slightly different maybe less racist - was this the forum someone mentioned Cleopatra's white supremacy symbol in the Seitan making video? - if not it's the OK sign upside down, so anyway I doubt she is Finnish (maybe she has Finnish genes), because everything about her tells me her culture is that of Australia.

Just sped through latest vlog. I agree with what s been said. This 'trip' has gone on for too long with those kids, especially the young ones. They aren't learning anything of any educational value and her vlogs are of very poor quality now. Their diet is appalling. I looked at an earlier vlog about their food when they were in the house and it has deteriorated immensely. It is obvious she decided to do this trip on a whim, maybe the owner of the house wanted them out? A trip like this takes months to plan and cost. You can tell she did neither. They could easily spend a few weeks in some countries exploring, learning etc instead it's a Tuesday it must be Latvia, wedsnesday it must be Austria worldwind tour. What a waste.

Guys did you notice the date in the RV in the last video? From 1:24 on the board we can see "Wed 16 Oct". Now we know the exact date and time they arrived in Ireland. So the vlogs are not posted 2 months late, but around one month.

Regarding Cleopatra - she was born and lived part of her life in Australia - TT has first 5 children born i Australia, the younger 5 were born in Finland:) The gene pool is moxed in this family - Australian and finnish

Not really: in the Q&A video Taina said that she was born and partly raised in Finland but that her parents are Australians. And Paul is Australian too. So genetically speaking all the family is Australian. (If I understood correctly)

Paul is from Peterborough, UK. He moved to Australia in his teens. As for Taina - in my opinion her English accent is a give away she is not a native speaker. Maybe I am wrong, I do not know people from all over Australia and am not familiar with all the local accents. But my impressions of how the Australian accent(s) sound/pronounce specific words, are quite different from what I am hearing coming from her mouth. Paul has British English accent.

What do you all think the holdup is on the move to Australia? Do the kids born in Finland maybe need visas? Or would they have Australian citizenship from their dad? Or is it money?
Are they waiting for the house to be sold so they have money to buy a new one in Australia? That’s assuming the Finnish house was theirs to begin with...

The house was a rental and it was already empty November of last year. When they went viral everyone found the house listed online.

The kids were born dual citizens they have no where to go they’re a broke mess. They’re literally homeless and blowing money on potato head dolls to make it look okay on YouTube when in reality they have no way out. Bet my own home on them having no plan for living arrangements and think they will just be handed something if the kids become ill enough on this trip someone will feel bad in their family and step in and give them a free rental like in Finland.

It’s entirely likely they are saying things in response to comments here and inserting them into their older vids, as they wear basically the same clothing . The voiceovers sounds plausible too.

I don’t think they almost knocked the old lady in the mall down though. They were nowhere near her, she just kept turning around to look at them bc they were loud.
Also I don’t see the big deal with shaky leaving his table behind, it’s just an empty lot and a junk heap that looks like no ones using.

Do you guys think they are doing ANY homeschool on this trip?

Hi Sarah,i watched again and youre right,they dont nearly knock the old lady over ...but if Nef had careered just a few steps closer,she would have pushed the buggy into her.

As for home school..i doubt much was ever done at the house,and v little if any on the trip
From the gems that Taina has come out with,her spellings and grammar and the trite and ignorant remarks about the lovely places they have passed thru,its clear that really she isnt capable of home educating her brood
....and she seems to think that tossing references into the conversation here and there about National Geographic will convince us all that she is doing a wonderful homeschooling job!

For real! National Geographic isn’t substitute for schooling! What alternative universe does she live in where having a child watch a documentary about lions and tigers on NatGeo will substitute education and give them real world skills to apply as an adult?! How does that help you count change? Do math? Read and write? File taxes? Or should I say apply for assistance since from the get go it seems like that’s all mommy ever teaches them to aspire for... Welfare/Assistance. Look at her wayward Leonardo he is having the wake up call and rude awakening that is he was ill prepared for the world and thrown out of the nest by a cult leader.

When we found her brother’s linked in it said he could speak little Finnish. It would be odd for her to speak it natively and not him.

Wow, really? Getting more and more bizarre....
I think Paul has double citizenship UK/AU, he was living in Finland as a EU citizen (maybe?). Theoretically under UK law one can have as many citizenships as one desires, but I am not sure about the Finnish and Australian laws (maybe someone here can clarify?). She may have the AU pass as a spouse of an AU citizen or if one of her parents os from AU, or if her story about moving to AU as a child is truthful. What I know for sure is that all the kids have Finnish passports as well, saw them in a couple of videos, which means she is also a Finnish citizen, which means at least one of her parents was from Finland.
Wow, it is so bizarre indeed....
I have two theories: either she is deliberately trying to confuse people, thinking this will make her more interesting and people will watch her (terrible) video vlogs, or they are actually wanted by the Finnish social services in connection with the children...
Also, wtf happened with Leo? And why does she still say "mum of 10" when she never mentions one of those 10......should be 9 now.....just saying....

June Lemon well spotted, go to the TOP of the class. So as I thought ...Paul too has been mixing up dates and Insta' postings to confuse us also. (Is that on your orders Taina)? So half my family are Irish and we do that Irish Ferries crossing regularly. Cabins are expensive ...she said the family had been asleep since 8
00pm )and that would have been the time they boardrd the ferry. Taina did you leave them asleep in the van? That is highly illegal to leave them on the freight/car deck and if you did do that you would be in HEAPS of trouble. The Irish sea is notoriously rough., my uncle had his van smashed on one particularly bad winter crossing...I hope you did NOT leave those kids asleep in the RV. Oh and Shakespear needs a haircut and new jeans asap
