So tonight she went live with the planner. Am I wrong or did she not HATE planners? (She did mention that the only planner she’d love to use is hers...) But seriously, people are throwing $$$ at her, excited to get this book that is going to “fix” whatever issues got them into the mess they are in in the first place. The only thing you will be doing is lining her pockets and encouraging her to move on to the next hair-brained idea. All I can think of, when I hear her bragging about her lists for organizing and cleaning, is the FlyLady. I never followed her, but I hear she’s pretty great...so...if you can’t beat them, join them. That seems to be LOAD’s modus operandi these days. Hate Instant pot, but everyone loves it! Write a cookbook? Need more recipes? Find some and “tweak” them (not to plagiarize) and put them in a book. Hate Costco but want to sell your book there? Suddenly hate them less. Just remember, some of us saw the show where you blamed the victim of sexual assault for deserving what they got if they were dressed inappropriately. Since you knew what you said was out of line, the FB show disappeared and the YT show was drastically edited to 25 min. Interesting...

Yes, Flylady is fantastic.
And 100% FREE. You never have to buy anything. However I have bought 50 of Flylady's books over the years to donate just to support a woman who means so much. Aside from my garage, my entire house is organized and clean ... Including all junk drawers.
#THANKSFLYLADY
I think the reason Tawra and Jill hate Flylady so much is because it cannot be plagiarized well. and that frustrates them.

I think Tawras followers are whats called Authoritarian Followers (Tawra is one too)
Read this, it explains EVERYTHING https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog ... et-away-it

They are highly dogmatic. Because they have gotten their beliefs mainly from the authorities in their lives, rather than think things out for themselves, they have no real defense when facts or events indicate they are wrong. So they just dig in their heels and refuse to change.

Okay Im gonna explain more as to why Tawra and Jill are Authoritarian Followers...
Tawra and Jill sat on the show and lambasted FlyLady for 20 mins.
They were bitching about something like they both thought it was too much to do everyday or it was too "fancy" and they didnt wanna put on lace up shoes or something...
This proves they are Authoritarian Followers.
Sure Flylady tells her followers to wake up and get dressed to lace up shoes, fix your hair etc.
Yes that is true. But since Tawra and Jill are Authoritarian Followers and black and white thinkers, they cant think for themselves.
They believe that all authoritarian figures (including the highly and globally successful Flylady) need to be FOLLOWED LITERALLY!
I love Flylady, but never once did I ever put on shoes, fix my hair or put on street clothes to start cleaning for the day.
I was able to think for myself and take the parts of Flylady's methods I wanna follow and discard the ones Im never doing.

BTW - This (from the Psychology Today post) explains Tawras fans

They are easily duped by manipulators who pretend to espouse their causes when all the con-artists really want is personal gain.

This is why Tawra wont turn off SuperChats and why ppl on a fixed income give Tawra superchat money

She’s been so UP, UP, UP, lately with this planner that the crash will come eventually. She was the same with the Grocery Group (that I thought was very good and I loved Heidi being on doing her live chats) and her soap store. She got it all up and running (and poor Mike busting his a$$) then it becomes too much and it all must be done away with. If I remember correctly, one of the reasons for closing the soap store was the storage of all the inventory. If they were to move she didn’t want all that. But the other night they were laughing how they now have boxes of books and planners everywhere...in every room...and they seemed OK with that. It’s like a manic-depressive cycle... At least she’s not feeling the CFS, fibro like she was for a long while...or at least she doesn’t feel the need to tell us every 5 minutes.

She hates planners and Instapots. She said she threw away an Instapot and returned another. How can one write a book about a product they do now own?

How can one create a planner when they do not use one? I've owned many planners. Guess what? They are pretty generically made so the user can customize it for their lifestyle. I believe this one is going to be custom for Tawra. Which is super dumb. There is literally no market for this.

She also made an hour long video that you shouldn't budget...surprise surprise....there are budgeting pages in Tawra's special planner. The cover art is hideous. The aprons look cheap and tacky. I legit don't understand her "sayings" and doubt anyone that saw you wearing that cheap apron would understand WTF you were trying to say. She is saying that the world needs more of her sass/salty take? No, no one's needs her ignorant rants.
I'm pretty sure I saw these plain at the Dollar Tree. Her's are $29.95.

All the comments wanted a more fun apron. Not a boring ass cheap mono colored one. Here is one from Etsy (still supports small businesses) that is what the commenters were asking for. Cheaper too.

I dont get why ppl need all of this shit? I can make my own lists. All you need is to open up a text file named To Do Lists and put
your shopping list, your cleaning list, Appointments, your home improvement list and on Saturday nights adjust and print it up.
No one needs any books or lists, except of course Authoritarian Followers that need Tawra to tell them how to live or shit.

And Tawra is the only one who needs an Apron for her gross chickeny hands. Btw most YouTubers who cook, use gloves to handle meat.

I started Flylady in 2008 (same year I paid my house off) by 2010 I had donated my Sink Reflections book and unsubscribed to the email list. I was now free and all the routines etc I learned from her were committed to memory.
I havent been to her site in about 3 years.

So my question is, how many of Tawra/Jills supporters have actually learned anything and moved on?
The mark of a great leader or lightworker (with Tawra thats laughable) is how fast their clients/customers fly the coop and go on and live their lives.
If Tawra really is sincere she wouldnt have repeat customers. If people are still returning, buying books etc OVER AND OVER for a decade, then Tawras methods are crap! If you are still ill after going to one doctor over and over, hes likely a quack.

Umm yeah.... How many cooking videos have you seen where the cook needs to refer to a book to make the recipe? Only on Living on a Dime folks. Likely because they are not her recipes.

I don't know how many times she has said she doesn't know what's for dinner until right before and the "importance" of a stocked pantry. Why in Earth would she then create a planner where one would plan out their menu? Am I supposed to plan dinner or not? Am I supposed to budget or not? Am I supposed to be frugal or buy overpriced shit from her website? She also announced a freezer meal planning book even though she doesn't do it. Imagine how tasty all of those recipes will be? Umm...the only saving Grace is that all of the recipes will be stolen.

BTW, all of these hair-brained ideas of hers are product development. AKA: A JOB. A lucrative job by the sounds of it. So maybe she should stop mooching off my tax dollars and claiming disability.

I agree with everything you say here. Everything!

If you have openly stated you dont do or like certain things, and then write books about those very things then first of all who will TRUST those recipes to even work? Why should anyone want to buy a book written by an admitted recipe thief? You steal recipes Tawra, YOU ADMIT IT!
Make a book thats all original ideas from your own head. Or is your head empty?

ROLF Her planner retails for $50. Or you can just buy calenders and note pads from the Dollar store. Or buy a Happy Planner from Hobby Lobby or Michaels. Right now they are on sale for under $15

Re: Living On A Dime

Unread post by Iwasneverhere_0 »

To be fair, the Living on a Dime folks will just say to use their free tips and recipes, and say that not all of their tips apply to everyone's situation as well.

My grievance is that she just makes corresponding products based on trends that she doesn't practice or believe. She might as well write a book on atheism and copy Dr. Richard Dawkins. What she is doing is plagarism with her cookbooks. I know she didn't go to college but Mike should at least inform her to stop mouthing off on her videos and podcasts because it's ILLEGAL. Literally a crime that hurts original content creators. She's stupid. Aggravatingly stupid. Her case also is a prime example that people with disabilities can work and not be on disability. Yet, they still received a monthly stipend and health insurance. The price of health insurance is no joke, and we are paying for hers. There are people that make less money are paying for her. She has mentioned before she buys a subsidized plan through a healthcare market FOR HER FAMILY. Not Tawra directly because she is on Medicaid. There are so many damn holes in her stories.

They made yet another hour long videos on Thanksgiving emergencies -aka how to fix/save a dish that didn't turn out. Their logic for knowing this is by sharing a film reel of some of Tawra's kitchen mishaps including setting the turkey in on fire. This is all fine and dandy--if she wasn't claiming to be a professional chef/cook book author. Just say the truth, you're a mom who self taught herself how to cook meals for her family. Selling these plagarized books doesn't make you a professional.

Lastly, she talks about her fibromyalgia ALL THE TIME. Claiming she gets it all done with her "tv commercial method." Meaning at every commercial break she gets up and does a little something. I haven't had cable since the early 2000's. I would say 2004. This advice is extremely dated. My 80 year old mom hasn't had cable since 2015. We don't see commercials. I have a family of my own and am a working single parent. I make the time because it's not only important to keep a clean home, but illegal to have kids living in squalor. Other cleaning experts like clutterbug, do it on a dime, Mari Kondo, FlyLady, etc. have talked about setting small spurts of time to cleaning when things are hectic. It's not an original thought. She can state it in this way without dating herself so badly. But that is Tawra--"living in the past" should be the name of their business.
