A few things...

that fridge is her brother. She said it was their fridge, Megs didn't buy it. I am all for being snarky and coming off as judgmental on many things, but this fridge isn't something to be cross about toward Megan. My whole idea for posting about contents was a safety concern since people KNOW where that house is and now she just gave them a guided tour for potential stalkerish thieves.

Megs has said that they bought a place "in town" and just posted her walking the campus of Davidson College and SAYING that she was on the campus of "Davidson College, in town."She just gave the town away right there! I specifically remember because she (of course) used the word "MAGICAL!!!!'' It's MAGICAL on campus. Too bad her kids will never know....

I do think that's crazy that Pearl didn't know about the plans for the house, but them she shared in great detail (before getting quotes from a builder) their plans. A simple...we are building onto the house kids..." would be sufficient before they get these kids hopes up.

The thing is, even though we can easily figure out the address, us "haters" aren't likely to show up on their doorstep. It's the fans who are obsessed with them that they should worry about. Stalkers always start out admiring the objects of their obsession. Nobody (well, almost nobody) starts out thinking that these people could be better parents, and search out their address to tell them so in person.

I remember way back she had a video about picking up Esther from her job and then going to eat ice cream nearby. I was curious where they were at in NC so I looked up the ice cream shop name which was very much exposed. Then saw the place nearby which looked like the place Esther worked at. How is that protecting her? It gets creepy when people know them but they dont know these strangers. Ugh.

They blurred out the address on the blueprint because that is very obvious to them. Mayve the thought of their audience doing some simple google searches sounds way too farfetched to them? Its just crazy because they have already experienced what it was like for people to know where they lived in Utah.

Isnt it crazy how Pearl wasn't aware that her parents were planning on remodeling the house, but the youtube audience knows? If only these kids understood how out there their lives really were.

Oh, has anyone noticed the snarkiness of Megan's replies on some of the youtube comments? She seems to pick out the ones that bother her, but replies with an attitude...lol

I read her reply to a comment on their cleaning video where someone pointed out Esther got a hard job plus had to kids to watch. She said Esther is strong and the kids naturally gravitate towards her etc. Now I think the comment is deleted.

The YT and instagram comments for them are always so positive and it’s like an echo chamber of congratulating them on doing the most basic of parenting.
I have sooo much to say but I was wondering if anyone else is so bothered by them constantly trying to get free things. I feel like they are promoting things and reaching out to companies to ask for free stuff in exchange for talking about it on their channel left and right. They have SO MUCH money already from their pyramid scheme, and I’m sure they make some decent money from YT. They are already so privileged and they ask for free stuff?? I just think that’s so terrible and puts such a bad taste in my mouth.

You could really see the extent of Esther’s scoliosis when she was walking back from the parade. Unlike what they claim about Pearls back, this is totally treatable. I doubt she’s seen a doctor or specialist since the original times when they brought her home.

I think pearls back was perfectly treatable but they were unwilling to sacrifice their life style for having to go to a doctor consistently to adjust a back brace. They chose full time travel over their daughters health. No doctor in their right mind would ever advise a parent to leave their child’s back like pearls. I guarantee they were told her back isn’t detrimental to her health but with frequent adjustments and a back brace, we can prevent it from getting worse. But they didn’t want to do that, so left it as is. Unfortunately she’s too old to do anything about it now.
Esther is probably too old to fix it as well. Poor thing. you usually have to intervene before puberty with scoliosis, surgery is her only option now and I’m sure with them being essential oil nuts that won’t happen either.

I wish they understood that unschooling is absolutely not just no schooling. I think its quacky regardless but I can at least respect those that actually do structured stuff and have goals of where they want to end up. Their kids are not going to learn anything by randomly playing a few educational iPad games and having been to some random place where they didn't even see much in the chaos of the way the knorpp's travel.

Nah I’m not diagnosing anyone. Simply speculating that they have certainty not done everything they possibly could to help Pearls medical condition they have already disclosed to the world i don’t think it’s outside the realm of possibility to assume this.

Also, why is calling Megan “manic” not diagnosing?

There is no diagnosis being discussed here that hasn't come out of Mike or Megan's mouth. They have disclosed all the kids conditions (except for the raging ADHD from their biological children) and so there is no diagnosing or speculation from anyone being discussed in this thread.

Did you really just make an account to post this? They’re the ones who disclosed Esther’s scoliosis and Pearls spine issue. No one was mocking the diagnosis nor was anyone making one. We’re just speculating on the potential lack of medical care these kids are receiving. Perfectly within the site rules.

I know that here in the UK, no one with a chronic and potentially progressive spinal condition would be sent away and told there was nothing they could do. At very least, they would be seeing her every few months to monitor her condition.
Her spine is going to have all kinds of implications on her health as she gets older.
Obviously Esther’s scoliosis should be monitored too.
