I didn't know what ground beef meant till i got older because i was raised thinking it was just hamburger meat, lol.Iwasneverhere_0 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2019 8:32 am Why do they refer to ground beef as hamburger?! A hamburger is a patty between a bun. You don't put hamburgers in cassroles or tacos...

No publishing company in their right mind would publish her plagarized recipes and boring family stories.
Also, something to keep in mind-Mike has a degree to be a TV producer and worked at a TV station for many years. All of these top notch videos produced twice a week are by a professional television producer. There are teenagers working out if their bedroom that make more entertaining, precise, thought out and entertaining videos than this man...and he owns a MAC Book which are basically made for video editing. The video editing is horrendous.

Oh, it irks me when people say they want a Coke to the waiter and then say, I'll have a Dr. Pepper or whatever. If they would have said soda, fizzy drink, soda water or pop, then it makes sense for the waiter to ask what kind---a Coke is a Coca-Cola. Again, from the South and I can still accept that it's confusing AF to call all sodas "Coke."IHateCilantro wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2019 12:08 pmIts probably like Soda, Pop or CokeIwasneverhere_0 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2019 12:05 pmWell, I stand corrected then. Tawra? guess what? I have already planned my day out tomorrow.
Why arent YOU doing that now?
Why cant you PLAN out your day? It takes me 5 minutes every day!
30 mins ago I finished all of the days to do list that I made last night.
So I immediately made tomorrows list out.
Why cant you do that Tawra? Its easy to do on a computer or on your phones scratch pad.
I can do it while Im eating my grilled chicken and broccoli.
Why do I hafta tell an ORGANIZING EXPERT how to be organized?
Oh thats right, you admit you take ideas.
All your kids should be self sufficient, why are you not organized?
On Sunday and Tuesday nights, go look thru your kitchen to make sure you have everything
for showtime. If you dont, go to the store during the day or send a kid to do it or make something else.
WHY DO YOU NEVER HAVE ALL YOUR INGREDIENTS???
Iwasneverhere_0 ??? Mike had an excellent opportunity to make that European trip into a cinematic
delight. What happened Mike? Is this why you quit? Cause you werent good at it?
One of my absolute favorite YTers is just a housewife cooking great food, but BOY OH BOY her and her hubby

Re: Living On A Dime
Ok. So the podcast. In what universe..? I don't know where to start. These "family recipes." She had a conversation with her grandma confirming that these recipes were cutouts from magazines from the 50s when "fun food" was being produced like Jell-O. This hoard of recipes saved by family members are what her Living on a Dime cookbook was based on. She also admits to not knowing how to cook until she wrote her book. They laughed and laughed at what a terrible cook Tawra is.
So my question again, in what universe do these people live in where they do NOT understand plagarism? It is fair use to cook the recipes at home and share them for free. When you profit from the sharing at minimum the original creator should be cited. It's even in YouTube's agreement. She has gotten up in arms claiming people are stealing HER idea. It's not "HER" IDEA! It's rewriting recipes your aunt collected.. .I just can't ...

Its one thing to take, say, a basic plain cake recipe off the internet and change it around to makeIwasneverhere_0 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 06, 2019 11:38 am Ok. So the podcast. In what universe..? it into a whole new recipe. BAKING is chemistry and the basic structural ingredient measurements of a cake recipe
need to be precise. However, its another to steal an entire recipe and maybe switch 1 cup cheese instead of 3/4ths, and call
it your own. THATS THEFT.
When people have food blogs its their TIME, MONEY and EFFORT. People spend a long time testing recipes
to make them presentable for their blog. Some people have tested recipes 30 times to get them right.
Why would she think thats okay to steal other ppls recipes and work?
This is probably why publishers turned her down.
See this is why Tawra tells ppl to make her spice mixes and ranch dressing etc out of her cookbook But she herself uses store bought,
cause she probably swiped the recipes off the net and she doesnt like them that much and she doesnt know how to
make a recipe that tastes good. Cause she says she cant cook.
Tawra should have NEVER DONE THE LIVE SHOWS!
I ask this, why is a person who cant organize, admits she cant cook etc DOING A GODDAMN SHOW ON THOSE THINGS?
Most people who do food and organization blogs have a PASSION for it. Tawra doesnt.
Heidi is more on the ball than Tawra.
When ppl are passionate about something they keep a notebook with them at all times to jot down Ideas and new
recipes. It is what they eat, sleep and breathe. If Tawra cant be bothered to make sure she has the ingredients for a recipe
shes making on her 2 shows a week, then shes NOT PASSIONATE.
All in all I just dont understand how anyone can TRUST her now.

Re: Living On A Dime
I wanna go back to Tawra not wanting her kids to be vaccinated against HPV, cause she thinks they should be punished by God with genital cancer and maybe DEATH for having sex before marriage...
The problem with Tawras thinking is shes too stupid and ignorant of SCIENCE, PSYCHOLOGY and BIOLOGY to see how warped her thinking is.
The human brain does not fully develop until the age of 25-26! What that means is that young immature brains cannot make good decisions, they think they are invincible. They do risky, stupid things... This is why the Government courts kids as young as 15 in school to sign up for the military. Cause they know that ppl at 26 on would never sign up to go to WAR, they need to get them young while they still are stupid and think they are invincible.
This is why the Amish dont baptize babies. The Amish KNOW that kids cannot make weighty religious decisions until age 25. Thats why they let their kids go on Rumspringa.
If the AMISH, understand this, why cant Tawra?
Kids cannot make good decisions until age 25, so why should they be punished with cancer, death or infertility for a lifetime?
As a side note, this very thing is why i think Tawra isnt really ill, People who are truly ILL, NEVER want their kids to be ill.
And if they do, I think Tawra is a SADIST.

When did her and Mike get married? Both of them were virgins before marriage? You can get HPV by kissing... So they didn't kiss before marriage either?

Re: Living On A Dime
So, about 5 yrs ago my 25 yr old washer died and I had to go to the Laundromat for about 2-3 weeks while I was trying to find a new one.
Back then the prices at the laundromat were about $3 a wash.
Well, today I went to the laundromat to wash some very heavy blankets that my current washer wont spin dry (they are always sopping wet)
and guess what? The price for a wash in the big machine is now $6.50 (drys are $1.50)
Awhile ago wasnt Tawra talking about how FOOD PRICES havent gone up? Well, we shall debate that later.
But what Tawra doesnt get about ppl who are poor, is that they still have to wash their clothing, and do a myriad of other things that
the prices have gone up on.
A typical family of 4 do 12 loads of laundry a week. This includes bedding and towels. If they used my local laundromat that would cost $78 a week JUST TO WASH, not dry.
If they dried, its now $96.00 a week. $432 a month, $5184 a year.
From everything Tawra has said about her upbringing, Tawra has always lived in an OWNED HOUSE.
Most houses have a laundry room and backyards for clothes lines.
Im not sure if Tawra even understands what it is like for poor people, with no credit, with kids and a car and no access to laundry facilities.
It doesnt matter if FOOD hasnt gone up, its the myriad of other shit that HAS GONE UP that Tawra has no clue about cause Tawra
isnt POOR. Tawra has always lived in a house that was owned by her or her parents. As far as Ive heard, shes never rented.
So shes probably never had to go to a laundromat or dealt with landlords etc
So Ive seen quite a few people in her chats say how they live on $20,000.00 a year. How do you raise kids, pay rent, car upkeep, school stuff, health insurance and do laundry and eat healthy on that? Yesterday I was at the store and saw Chef Boyardee ravioli, got a craving and bought it. I was just gonna eat 3 raviolis and throw the rest away.
I opened the can and heated up 3 raviolis and OMG there has to be like 1 TEASPOON beef in the entire can! The rest is high carb FILLERS.
It was gross.
Yes its cheap, but it isnt nutritious and no poor person can eat healthy or do KETO (if they are diabetic) on what they can afford on $20K - $30K a year. And herein lies the big problem.
Tawra coaches ppl to cut back even more on food and stuff, cut back on protein and some fruits and veggies and "fill em up with starches!!!"
BUT DOES SHE TEACH PPL HOW TO GET OUT OF POVERTY!?
How does she make ppl healthy, educated, competent people?
Cutting back on things is okay if you have a great job, cutting back when you have no money will keep you poor...
This is supported by reams of research on Poverty.
People stay poor, because of sudden problems that pop up.
Someone might be going along okay, then suddenly their car gives out or they get into an accident. Suddenly they cannot get to any of their 3 jobs or pick their kid up from day care (most day cares have late pick up penalty fees) so suddenly they are without a car or job and they now owe $2000 for both their car and the Day Care late fee. AND its Halloween and the school hayride is coming up and Johnny needs a costume.
How do you save money if you are constantly putting out FIRES???
How do you get out of poverty if you cant save money to better your life?
Cutting back on healthy food leaves your diet with carbs, sugar and fats, and your health fails, then you get put on painkillers to combat the effects of the poor diet and become addicted.
HOW DO YOU GET OUT OF POVERTY UNDER THESE CIRCUMSTANCES???
How does this person afford Tawras organizational planner for $50???
Please answer these questions Tawra...

Re: Living On A Dime
I wish she would tell or advise a person on how to get out of poverty. She believes that everyone makes over $100,000 a year. I have asked her about it, but of course, I never got an answer. We live in a rural area where there are few jobs. I am trying to make make some money with my Poshmark store and affiliate links, but so far, none of these has even made a dent on any bills. My vehicle is needing repairs, my refrigerator broke and I am trying to do what I can. I work for a virtual call center, but either the IBO is taking money out of every paycheck to pay for her giving me my paycheck, and/or the platform I work for takes money out of every paycheck just for the pleasure of working for them. And most are pay per talk minute. The one place is that way, and they do not pay for the work I put in after the call ends.
Yes, any thoughts or answers would be very much appreciated. But she has none.
