My daughter asked if I thought the picture was showing was nice and I replied that actually, I think it is nice - but it won’t look like that when she does it because she will do it in a cheap and tacky way and that’s the difference.
If you want things to be nice - be tasteful. It doesn’t have to be expensive; just tasteful!

I personally dont like thrifting clothes and furniture and such but aside from that I don’t have a problem with people who do.. its a hobby I get that. You can find some really cool and collectible things. HOWEVER, you cannot thrift heaps and heaps of shit and collect it in your house and never do anything with it. She is over cluttering her home and it really gives me claustrophobia through the screen. Has she ever heard the saying “You get rid of old clothes so you can get new ones” Hello Meggie, sell some of that shit, repurpose it CORRECTLY not with Crayola Paint and make a few bucks rather than stashing it in every room of your house. There is 10 people in one space and that’s already too many in my opinion because you do not have enough square footage to accommodate everyone. Then you pile shit sky high in each room and call it “cozy and warm” God lady, get a grip on your life!!!!

Megan has this amazing ability to come off as incredibly conceited and snobby over buying old used items.
I think she’s confusing thrifting with smart shopping. It doesn’t matter if all the useless clutter you are buying is thrifted Megan, it’s still a waste of money!!

See thats what I mean, like yes you can thrift some really useful stuff but she is trying to come off as idk unique or ummm whats the word.... historic. Idk idk. But shes a fucking hoarder. She is collecting useless shit that is worth nothing and never will be worth anything. If I were those kids I would be crying for help. Atleast if I were Daniel or Esther... they are way too knowledgeable but also way too respectful and humble to ever mention any thing they dislike to Megan... she doesn’t care about their wants or needs.IHateCilantro wrote:I remodeled my first floor. Look, every woman in her early 20s starting out their lives with Mr Wonderful always has stars in her eyes about how their house, kids and marriage will be. Most 20+ yr olds in the era probably have visions of Wayfair, Chip and Joanna, and Target crap oin their eyes. We all did.
FFS I bought such mindless crap in my 20s. I bought coffee table books that Id never read and I constantly had to move and dust and clean just to look nice and like I read them. I went thru that Holly Hobby Phase, my Farmgirl Phase, my Ultra modern New Wave phase.
OMG its all at Goodwill now. Maybe Megans buying it? LOL Im 52, I want it all out! I kept my grandfathers manger and dollhouse he handmade in the 40s for years, GUESS WHAT? It was painted with LEAD PAINT, In trashbags it went out to the curb.
You know when your kids go to sports? How they get all this free shit at school or sports etc? Keychains, nylon backpacks, sports bottle?
If you are a young mom, DONT EVEN BRING IT HOME! It sits unused in the corner of the bedroom, taking up space and getting dusty.
TOSS IT ALL.
Just so much CRAP. And Megans setting these kids up for WORK when she dies.
Megan fuck the thrift store crap SPEND TIME WITH YOUR KIDS! Thrift when the kids all fly the nest.

Re: Knorpp and South: Manic Megan’s Pinterest Palace | Part 2
She said she thrifts an average of 4 times a week. That is insane. She has 8 kids at home who are supposed to be homeschooled including a special needs daughter. That doesn't include normal family errands like groceries, post office, appts, etc...plus her daily walks (I think it is great to do self care but 1 hr walks in addition to thrift trips is ALOT of self care when teens are babysitting. What is Mike's "self-care"???? PLUS their dates. Plus all the time she spends editing, on social media, Pinterest.... When do the kids get one on one time? When does she sit down and make sure her kids are doing work and meeting goals? Oh nevermind. Let's just buy some more rainbow colored felt and make a garland!IHateCilantro wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2019 1:49 pmTrashTalk00 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2019 1:32 pmSee thats what I mean, like yes you can thrift some really useful stuff but she is trying to come off as idk unique or ummm whats the word.... historic. I love how Megs justified Pearl spending 2 full days cutting designs into paper as a homeschooling lesson. Wtf.
Did anyone else pick on the fact that she can't even understand Daniel, how is she teaching Eve speech. He said the marshmallows needed time to SETTLE and she was like..."oh it takes time to set up, huh?" STOP, CALM DOWN and LISTEN TO YOUR CHILDREN. It's infuriating.
Wonder how long her brother and his family will stay in town if they have to constantly be exposed to the chaos that is the Knorpps. I PRAY that they don't pick up on their 'homeschooling' habits since they are new to homeschooling.

I’ve said on here that the travel was filling a void and now that they have stopped that (would love to know why btw) the junk collecting has taken it’s place. It seems like she becomes obsessed/addicted to things - remember her sugar addiction vlog she did? I still think she (also) had lipo auction surgery because her weight loss, especially around her thighs/top of legs, was very sudden. Those thighs were very large in a mis-proportioned sort of way (not fat shaming) so weight loss alone would not have produced the current result, IMO.Tiger27 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2019 1:22 amYou forgot creepy dolls and pretty books. Every few weeks she claims to collect a new set of items. She reminds me of the people on Hoarders, who are filling voids in their lives with junk.SNT41007 wrote:I am not even 10 minutes in to this thrifting vlog. At first I thought she was literally mocking us and this forum but OMG she is so serious. So now she collects watercolor paintings too? So wait...baskets, owls, brass animals, christmas decorations, books, shitty smelly furniture that she can chalk paint, and now watercolor paintings too? Remember those old school brass baby shoes people had made back in the "mid century?" I wonder since she collects brass things when she's going to have Mike's balls dipped in brass for her collection. He's not using them anyway, and she collects them too right?
And let’s all take this moment to remember those ugly gold metal decorations she bought for the new house. I’ll bet everything that those get lost on the sea of junk or end up making zero sense in the new house and we never see them again.

oh em geeeee guys. *yawn* these daily vlogs are so boring....
Re: Knorpp and South: Manic Megan’s Pinterest Palace | Part 2
These daily vlogs really are so boring. First time I’ve ever heard her say that they avoid large crowds. I think she’s just too lazy to keep an eye on the kids.
One thing I did notice and it’s so bothersome. They were filming a lot walking behind Esther. It’s becoming more obvious how bad her back is becoming. You can see when she walks that her gait is off. Her shoulders are noticeably out of alignment. I know this has been discussed before here at length, but this was so noticeable. Pearls bump also looked bigger. Are they really not doing anything for these girls? What caring parent wouldn’t want the best? I forgot we’re talking about self centered, egotistical, thrift happy Megan!
It would have been nice if she could have shown Daniel actually making the marshmallows.

I agree, I feel like Pearl's back is getting worse too. They need to take her and Esther to a doctor.

I definitely think both the girls need help. Pearls back obviously has so many implications gif get health and well-being - the effect on her respiratory system being a major concern.SunnyDays wrote:I agree, I feel like Pearl's back is getting worse too. For a girl of her age, she must have all kinds of questions about the future and how her disability will affect things like the ability to have children of her own someday. I would imagine pregnancy would put quite a strain on her body.
I wonder does a Megan even take the time to think of these kind of issues. I’m not sure it would even enter her head.
I know here in the UK, she would be under regular review of a spinal specialist at least until she was 18, and had stopped growing - but almost certainly for her entire life. Of course here, they wouldn’t have to pay for it.

Re: Knorpp and South: Manic Megan’s Pinterest Palace | Part 2
If you look on their actual website, they discuss insurance, and it made me FULLY understand just why they ignore so many health issues.
Rather than purchase actual insurance, they pay roughly $450/month into a Christian medical co-op. Maybe less ($450 is the top option).
At the “gold” level, they basically get approved bills covered IF the total bill for the incident is $500+, and IF it meets specific requirements first, with a max payout of $125,000 per illness. In their case, illness means diagnosis.
What that means, is every doctors appointment, every prescription, every x-ray, etc, is 100% out of pocket unless each event reaches a $500 bill. Because they refer to “illness” specifically as diagnosis on another page, that would mean $125k total to cover everything that is ever wrong with Pearl in regards to her diagnosed condition. Bad gait? It’s her back’s fault, add physical therapy to the tab. Back pain? Same thing. Trouble breathing? Yup, her back.
Given the atrocious state of medical billing in the US, it really would not take long at all for an “illness” like Pearl’s back to reach $125k in billing when seeing specialists and getting assessments, treatments, physical therapy, etc.
Esther would probably take longer, but she could easily have surpassed that by now.
There was a secondary item they can purchase that is called Brothers Keeper, which in the event of catastrophic events, will suspend the lifetime max per illness. But when they say catastrophic, I’m guessing the good old pro-life bible loving church insurance doesn’t mean birth defects. They probably will only suspend it for something like a major car accident, or something really important, like über rides to bible study.
Upon further review, it looks like they will only cover an adopted child’s birth defect IF it is discovered prior to finalizing the adoption and IF the parents already had the gold level “insurance” in good standing prior to finalizing.
Another reason why they push EO’s on their kids for everything- so they don’t have to pay for a doctors appointment.
These medical co-ops are not made for actual healthcare. They are emergency programs that allow you to claim you have insurance, while providing little or nothing in return. It’s really amazing they are allowed to masquerade as insurance policies at all.
Also- check out the line about unwed mother’s. They can not cover any of their medical expenses with this BS insurance program.

Re: Knorpp and South: Manic Megan’s Pinterest Palace | Part 2
Ya’ll, this program actively states in the sign up brochure that you should always apply for medical assistance with bills through your hospital. It’s openly saying “We won’t cover shit, so please let the tax payers do it- you are entitled to that.” It says you are entitled. Actually says those words.
In small print at the end, 26 (TWENTY SIX!!!!) states have written warnings that it is NOT an insurance program, that you are NOT insured by this company, and that you WILL be responsible for your unpaid bills.
What kind of a pyramid scheme is this? From what I can tell, very little is covered, there are strict limits on what they will allow or pay, many pre-existing things won’t fly, and they want you to absolutely pay for the top tier as it is the best way to actually get a few bills paid.

Well that explains a lot. I have a family friend with this type of “insurance” and she was recently diagnosed with multiple myeloma. She needs a stem cell transplant after she finished months of chemo. It’s not covered. This is life or death for her and I’m afraid of what will happen. Children with Down syndrome are prone to leukemia, god forbid that ever happen, but what in the hell would they do?NarcoelpsyMom wrote:If you look on their actual website, they discuss insurance, and it made me FULLY understand just why they ignore so many health issues.

I’m not one to come on this site and scream child abuse but they seriously should be investigated for neglect...I hope there is a ton we just don’t see but I’ve yet to see any proof these kids are getting proper education or healthcare. Why in the world would you adopt children with medical needs if you don’t have adequate insurance. Selfish is what it is.
