Ashley was a victim of grooming from a young age. However from what I have seen, I firmly believe that there is DV going on as well. Not necessarily heavy physical, but emotional and verbal abuse and maybe light physical violence (for the record physical includes wrist grabbing, poking, and shoving, blocking exits from rooms).
I am basing on this on my own experience with DV and observing their behaviour in the vlogs. There is not doubt in my mind that Tyson is a mysoginsitic pig. Everything about him screams it. There is also an obvious power imbalance in the relationship that would have been present from day one due to the age difference. Tyson also appears to have an inferiority complex, and an angry streak. I think Tyson has depression - he lies about on the couch all day and overeats. My very abusive exhusband was very very similar. In my experience, anyone who reminds me of my ex husband has turned out be exactly like him. If you look at the Lundy Bancroft (DV expert) books, he talks about similar core traits found in all DV perpetrators. DV isn't caused by mental illness, but it can exacerbate the violence.
I can't think of any specific examples off hand, but I have chimed in on here when I noticed odd behaviours in the vlogs. Ashley also had bruising at one stage but there was discussion on here about bruising from botox, so who knows.
Ashley is no stranger to divorce, her sister has been through one, which makes me think there may not necessarily be family / religious reasons holding her back. In terms of divorce killing the channel. The channel is already dead anyway. They have a very poor view to subscriber ratio. Ashley's seneshit sales would be supporting the family for sure. However her "business" is intrinsically linked to the channel, so if the channel dies, she stands to lose substantial sales / income.
ETA if I am correct and there is DV going on, Tyson would have a hold so to speak over Ashley and the turning a blind eye to his behaviour may be a symptom of the control he has over her. It took leaving my exhusband and time for me to realise how much control he had over my thoughts and actions.
I agree with you 100%. Ashley is a dingbat, self centered and forever juvenile. She craves the attention the girls have brought and bring her. She was never allowed to grow up since Scumbag groomed and brainwashed her. I doubt she honestly feels she could ever make it on her own. I’m sure he’s pounded that into her mind physically and mentally. She would be nothing without him. No one would love her like him. Etc. He, on the other hand, is an ass. A chauvinistic pig. A control freak. What he says goes, I’m sure. I don’t like her, but I loathe him.
