Coming from UK, I really don’t know anything about insurance, but that seems completely crazy.
Why would you adopt children with medical needs if you dint have adequate insurance? For that master, why don’t they have adequate insurance?
It angers me because Megan would have you believe that she brought those children to the US for a better life. Esther didn’t even know she was being adopted until it was happening.
What kind of adoption agency works like that?
Just because they came from an underdeveloped country doesn’t necessarily mean that any type of life in the US will automatically be better. It will only be better if it carers for needs and opportunities that weren’t open to them in China. Alright, they make traveller, but in so many other ways they are not much better off.

She’s another one that just makes me wanna throw up. I feel bad for her kids and her husband who clearly has no say in anything. Unschooling does work but only if your life is not a chaotic mess and you actually know what the heck you are doing. I bet they will try to adopt again eventually...as the older kids grow up

Mike and Megan, PLEASE address the girls' back issues ASAP. I have scoliosis but didn't find out about it until I was in my early 20s. (I hurt my back in an accident as a child and it slowly developed past the point that doctors would be looking for it.) At this point, I've stopped growing and a brace won't help me. I have to go to the chiropractor constantly and my pain is bad enough that I can only work part-time, as I'm prone to extreme migraines and debilitating pain throughout my entire body. The spine is one of the MOST important parts of the human body and affects everything! I can't believe these people would spend thousands on an RV before a back brace and regular chiropractor/acupuncture visits.

Also yikes when Elijah said he was more consistently happy sharing a dorm room with 3 other guys doing missionary prep than he's 'ever been any where else' and Megan was just silent on the other end

I thought that was so hilarious about what Elijah said. I was hoping someone would mention it on here she was like "that's nice" with a straight face. Then she was like "Ohhhkayyy let's have you talk to your siblings now" like she was jealous that vacationing with his parents in Iceland wasn't his best experience ever. I am happy for Elijah though, he is getting a chance to venture on his own.

I cant wait to see what project she comes up with for the Christmas parade float next year!lol

He learned that from his classy mom. She used to do it in nearly every vlog until we ragged on her about it here, several times. She's also stopped scratching herself in nearly every video as well. Thank God! We've actually made her a better tuber! You're welcome, Megan!

Stop for a moment and think about how PROFOUND that comment from Elijah was. If that didn't slap Megan into some sort of reasonable reality nothing will. And the fact that she allowed it to be viewed in the vlog shows she's f'in clueless.

And that gum chewing, it goes along with the belching and other disgusting habits her and Mike don't correct/teach for manners.

Eve and dance...she keeps saying that she doesn't want to ruin the dance experience by putting her in formal classes. Um. Like how formal education would ruin learning for her kids too I guess. Why are these people so against anything organized and social that isn't part of their religion? WTF are the so scared of? That the kids might learn things about the real world and start to understand how cooky their upbringing is and they might start to question it?

I suspect as someone mentioned earlier that their medical conditions met their lifeline max for coverage and Scamaritan Health Share....ah, hem...sorry, "Samaritan" Health Share won't cover anything else so....good enough. Seriously wondering if and or why CPS hasn't paid them a visit. It's called neglect.

Anyone else notice how Megan highlighted appointments in the last video. Jude went to the DENTIST! And Daniel had a DOCTORS APPOINTMENT. See! See!! We "take care" of our kids!!!!! <----got it Meggers.

And for anyone that has read this far lets play a game....lets count all the times Megan is looking at the screen at herself when taking video instead of looking INTO the camera. She can't help herself, she has to look at herself every 2 seconds while she's talking into her phone. You obviously can't tell when she has sunglasses on, but when she doesnt...omg, it's super apparent that she can't stop looking at herself.

Last point...can we get ONE vlog where she doesn't sing about something in an exaggerated and obnoxious voice or dance like a freaking 5 year old hyped on pixie sticks and bubble gum.

Especially when he's not really at someplace meant to be "fun". They have very little personal space or freedom at the MTC. There's some summer camp kind of hijinks that go on, but for the most part, it's not meant to be "fun". So yeah, it's pretty amusing that he's "the happiest he's ever been".

Especially when he's not really at someplace meant to be "fun". They have very little personal space or freedom at the MTC. There's some summer camp kind of hijinks that go on, but for the most part, it's not meant to be "fun". So yeah, it's pretty amusing that he's "the happiest he's ever been".

You know what it is though, it's stable and consistent. They tell them what their expectations are, and they should expect from the experience and that's that, it's what's unfolding and happening at face value. He won't wake up one day and them say, "okay, we are rearranging the program and are moving to it to a base in Oregon..." It is what it is, and wether or not anyone in that family (including Elijah) wants to admit it...there is something to be said for standardized living (like the ridged schedule of public education, etc.) Elijah is appreciating that it isn't a fucking free-for-all in a chaotic environment.

I have a feeling you're on to something there...
There are lots of studies on the effects of growing up in a chaotic environment. No matter what Megan says, kids thrive on structure. It's scary not to know what is coming next, even as an adult!

Absolutely. The difference between what mom presents publicly and the reality has got to be confusing, especially for younger kids. And the way some people worship Youtubers adds to the dissonance.
