My guess is, like everything else, she would try to write it off as a business expense. I dunno what type of car she would want to lease, but the insurance required for many leased vehicles is very expensive (not that Elle would care about throwing money away). She is SO wasteful and has the nerve to preach to her viewers about mindfulness.

Elle said in the IG comments that she doesn't like Dave Ramsey and it's not so black and white as he says it is. I think she doesn't like him because she's feeling guilty of her own debt. Seeing how financially responsible Dan is, I wonder if Elle put them in debt?

She's totally in denial. Probably like my aunt who believes that massive debt is just a part of life. I watched my parents pay off hundreds of thousands in student loans, paid off the house 17 years early, and before my dad died this year his net worth was well over a million. We went without on a LOT of things for YEARS. And countless people have that same story. Elle can say "it's not that black and white" all she wants, she's made clear she just doesn't have the desire to commit to a better life for her whole family likely because it means a long time of going without a lot of the things she wants RIGHT FREAKIN NOW.

I kinda pity her... imagine having a void so big that you constantly try to fill it with new babies and high ticket items but nothing results in any permanent satisfaction. Her therapist must really suck. Elle cannot breed or buy (or pray)her way out of her issues. I think she needs serious help.

She needs a proper therapist, but she would NEVER pay good money for someone to be honest with her about her insecurities and her unhealthy coping habits. She would label it abusive and move on to the next “therapist”. It is pretty sad though. And her trolling everyone for thoughts on leather and sunroofs... she can’t even buy a car without the input of other people! She needs to have the most popular option because every move she makes is about impressing as many people as possible, not actually doing what she wants with her life. It’s really sad.

Who spends spends spends after expanding their baby? Her “brand” isn’t growing by leaps and bounds so I’m still dumbfounded about where all this money is coming from?

My husband makes a really good salary and we had to buy a new car this year because my fourteen year old car had finally seen its day. Not because I wanted the best and latest and greatest in technology. And now, like normal people, because we just bought a new car, we’ve cut back on extra spending until it’s paid off.

Doesn’t mean we’re eating canned corn but it also doesn’t mean me buying multiple designer purses, expensive dresses with lipstick print, new furniture and lighting, girls trips to nyc...

She’s regressed a lot. Their marriage is probably falling apart.

I love that there are people out there brave enough to call Elle's bullshit out .

Elle thinks she is present and not distracted because she is "practicing" minimalism. Yet here she is, constantly distracted with what material object she can obtain to fill a void in her life. You would think that colouring her bible every morning would fill that void. She is uncontent and it shows, no minimal mindfulness preaching or definition explanation can cover that!
