Soo she post a video of how she regrets giving her kid up for adoption but now is complaining cause the video is demonetised..... so by the looks of it she’s doing it for the money and that’s very clear it’s quite sad really.

Okay. Sierra's feelings about her adoption are completely valid and understandable. I'm sure it was gut-wrenching to have to give up the baby she thought she'd be keeping up until shortly before she gave birth. However, I don't understand why she'd think she would have any rights after she gave him up for adoption. He is no longer her child. Imagine how his parents must feel and how much they want to protect him. If I adopted a child, I don't think I'd want contact with the birth mother because it would be heartbreaking and confusing for everyone involved. I'm sure some people can make that type of thing work, but it would be very difficult, especially if the biological mother didn't know the family beforehand. I get that Sierra was young, but she could have sought out information about adoption. I'm pretty sure legally there's no such thing as an "open adoption" and that once a parent signs away their parental rights, the adoptive family doesn't have to let them have contact with the child.

There's also the fact that Sierra tends to fake and exaggerate things and I'm sure she can make herself cry when she wants to, so I don't know how much of this video to even take as the truth. She claimed "millions" of people messaged her that she had helped them...okay...

Her points are very valued but like you said once she’s handed over her rights the child’s parents can say no to all contact idk if his adoptive parents would’ve said that about her the way she said they said it

I agree 100% that it’s normal and okay to have regrets after putting your baby up for adoption. It’s a rough lifelong life changing decision.

But I don’t agree with Sierra making this video and the comments under the video are even worse. I hope they are children because they all
Sound ignorant. People are judging and ridiculing the adoptive parents who they don’t know. They don’t know their side of the story at all. At the end Of the day those are his parents now and they have every right to protect him and not want his name

Make money off of.

This girl is a narcissist and makes every situation about her for sympathy.

I feel for her, because giving a child away for adoption isn't easy at all.
But, she has to understand that in the eyes of the law, he isn't her child. You gave birth to him, but thats not what parenthood is about. I don't get why she thought she would have any rights over him, when she signed them away to his parents. So people in the comment section who thinks she should "try to get him back" are fucking stupid. I hope they're like 9 because otherwise its tragic.
But if they are planning on not telling him he's adopted, they're horrible. Kids deserve to know where they are from.

i am honestly so confused by this girl. i was catching up on some of her old videos because i haven’t kept up with her channel in a while, and she’s just so confusing. she said her and drake are waiting until they’re a little wealthier to have another baby, yet goes on a rant about how it’s nobody’s business that she’s using the ‘pull out method’ instead of actual birth control. she said it’s fine if she has a baby, because her and drake are a ‘married couple’. so she’s okay with having another baby even though she’s not financially stable? what happened to needing a million subscribers? she honestly makes no sense.

I know this has been said a million times, but seriously, Sierra needs to learn proper vocabulary and stop talking about "having an adoption" and "postpartum and depression." Every single woman who has given birth is postpartum, that just means you've recently had a baby. Also she needs to stop clickbaiting that she might be pregnant, that is the oldest trick in the book and could be triggering to viewers who are struggling to conceive. As someone who "had an adoption," Sierra should be more sensitive to her viewers who might be in difficult situations having to do with pregnancy and child loss. Although most of her viewers are probably teenagers, making her just a terrible example.
