I was never a mommyblogger fan, I just never watched them, but I came here cause this site was the only site with the Living On A Dime thread, and in the down time I was exploring other threads and I ended up watching a few videos.

You can't expect people not to pick you apart when you put your whole familys life on the internet for the world to see!!! Especially when you show yourself acting like a fool and doing ANYTHING you can to avoid being a parent. It seems obvious the younger children are starved for attention. You can see them lingering in and out of frame following behind like a puppy or acting goofy just to get the attention they crave while mom or dad have the camera rolling talking to themselves. We see/hear all about their "Me/I" time and hardly any family time.
And before you try to come for me and call me stupid Iteration is another word for repetition.

I came across them when looking up videos about living in an RV full time.

Did anyone else catch megan calling herself a narcissist in the video where shes talking about her new podcast? She was like "when I'm behind the mic i wouldn't be able to hear anyone else's voice because I'm a narcissist "

I found them when I was searching for videos on how people travel full time (not necessarily in an RV) and make money to be able to do it. I really liked them when they were traveling in the RV. Home/Unschooling just made sense and they did a LOT with the kids. That phase is just over.

I too have noticed comments from both of them in their videos since the Insta Story rant of them finding this page. I'm sure the last thing they do at night before they go to bed is check the comments here...they can't help themselves. Hi Mike and Meggers! Sleep tight!

My daughter loves to watch family vloggers. Most of them make me twitch, and I end up yelling at the tv. But when she first started watching these folks, they were in the RV in the USA. And they weren't too annoying! But now...

I'll start...we had our house in the market a few years ago and it was easier to move out into an RV for the time it was listed than to worry about the cleaning up fast and what to do with the dog and cat when agents came to show it. We went from a big house to a 300 sq.ft. RV, so I was looking around online for ways to make the space work. Their videos popped up when I was looking on YouTube. I think the first one I watched was a tour of their original 5th wheel. I was intrigued by their US road trip and kept watching.

I love the idea of living full time in an RV after my husband retires, so I watch a lot of full time RV'ers.

We bought an rv a few years ago and I started looking on YouTube for rving ideas. The Knorpps were in the middle of their rv living phase at the time and they were interesting. I don’t remember which video I watched first, but i remember watching their rv tour video back around then, so maybe that was the one. I really liked Mikes organizational skills. I still watch a lot of videos of people who live in their rvs. It’s my favorite YouTube genre.

I think that’s a brilliant idea to move into the rv while you have a house on the market. I’ll have to keep that in mind if we ever sell this place.

HOLY SHIT! They pay $3,800 a MONTH for that house! Look it up on Zillow! I have always wondered, I had hoped they weren't so stupid to literally THROW that much money out the door every month in a rental but OMG. Over 45K per year to be in that house. They are idiots.

Man I miss the old days when they spent quality time with the kids, traveled and lived small. This maximalist, over the top, ridiculousness is getting old. Funny how this woman can go thrifting 4 times per week (by her own admission) but can't take the time to go shopping for food for her family. There have been so many instacart strikes due to low wages, and she's endorsing them.

I actually didn't know that, but it's not surprising in the least. He knows better than to challenge the head of the household with silly things like finances. She gets what she wants...plus, he's such a milktoast that he would probably agree to a brother husband if it's what she says she wants.

I honestly think it's an oversight. They are scrambling for content for "vlogmas" and don't spend proper time editing. Once the COPPA law goes into effect in January their youtube $$$$$ will take a big hit. Speaking of taking a big hit, they can "afford" that house because they are high in the scammy pyramid scheme that is MLM, so once the FDA finishes their investigations of false medical claims and Doterra comes crumbling down, so will their income.

I put "afford" in quotes because I honestly don't think they can afford a nearly 4k per month rent and be sustainable, it's why they started looking for a place to purchase in the first place. And if ANYTHING shows that they GROSSLY overpaid for that 300K property in downtown davison, nc...it's the house they are in now. The owners of their rental now couldn't get 600K for that basking beauty so they resorted to renting it, and the knorpps paid literally half that for that POS outdated small house just "10 minutes away." They (read:she) is SO impulsive that they (read:she) doesn't take the time to think things thru and where the cards fall, they fall.

It really helped to simplify the process of selling the house to just move out. It also took away any romantic ideas I had about tiny houses. Turns out I like a bit of space. I'm not a fan of massive houses, BTDT, but we are quite happy in 1800 sqft versus the 3200 sqft house we used to have.

I love watching the Tiny House vids, BUT BUT BUT, I always get disappointed when a person buys a Skoolie and they are lacking one thing.
Like very few Tiny Homes and Skoolies have EVERYTHING in one. Like they have everything BUT a toilet, or Everything but a stove.
I prefer the 5th Wheels. Sorry but I dont wanna rely on GYM MEMBERSHIPS to shower or Bathe.
