Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 3
Mindy's mom and dad brought a whole bunch of Christmas presents over. Mindy says "my parents brought over Christmas". But I thought presents weren't the point of Christmas. But bringing "Christmas" sure sounds like the point is the presents... And they were getting Brexie-doodle and Ry-guy mixed up...

Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 3
Okay, today's video was the Binghams at their best. Paying for other people's groceries. Had me in tears, these guys are sincere, and I didn't even mind Branden because I was as excited as he was. I just got back from doing what little shopping I could this year. Made me feel so good to see others being taken care of, I sure wish I could do it. I know I snark on Branden, but blessing others I'll never snark on. Maybe I can get someone's Starbucks' later! And Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 3
Then they went home and started the festival of gluttony. Mindy's parents "brought Christmas over", when I thought the meaning of Christmas WASN'T presents.
I'm sorry, filming themselves buying groceries for someone else just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The rest of the year, they spend tons on themselves, are incredibly wasteful, and accept money and gifts from their viewers, and lots of free crap from companies. One shopping expedition where they film themselves and show off how magnanimous they are doesn't make up for 364 days of gluttony. Besides, the Bible is very clear that you aren't supposed to show off your good deeds.
And the presents Mindy's parents brought over-- Hazy's was the biggest. It's much bigger than the boys' boxes.

Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 3
After the year we've had being farmers in Missouri- our farm and cropland both flooded, it's been a really crappy year. I didn't put a tree up or buy anything for hubby. With our field underwater and parts of it still are, we couldn't get our crop in. No state or federal help was another kick in the gut for us. Just not in the Christmas spirit and today's "show" just hurt. I live in the real world and we work hard for every little thing and this past year we've fought for it. Sorry, just watching how "happy" they were like they were really doing something so good for someone- I feel it was just for show for themselves. I am very happy for the people that did receive their gift- don't get me wrong. My dad every Christmas used to go to his favorite fast food restaurant and leave money and told them to pay for all they could until it was gone. This will be my 3rd Christmas without him and with everything that we've been through this year, it's the hardest one yet. I didn't type this to get anything from anybody- that's not who I am. I just needed to vent a little. Watching people like that reminds me so much of my brother and sister- they are both like that. Thanks and Merry Christmas.

Unfortunately i get why hazes is bigger. I think younger kids are easier to buy for and cheaper. The Nintendo switch lite Ryler got is $200 it self...the older you get the more expensive and small gifts get.lmmomSD wrote:Then they went home and started the festival of gluttony. In case you missed her giving back Mindy posted a bunch of screen shots of her followers telling her how wonderful she is for doing so.

Mindy’s parents are insane. Each of the boys for a Nintendo Switch lite. $200 each. They already own a switch. Why are 3 of those necessary!?!

I wonder how they have money. I know her dad works at a dealership but that doesn’t bring in the big bucks. They’re also not Mormon because mindy converted to it when she was older and her brother drinks and has tattoos.JD386 wrote:Mindy’s parents are insane. I agree....Mindys brother also has kids. Wonder if they got as many expensive gifts like Ryler, Krew, Brex and Hazy? I guess they have a money tree growing in their backyard!nahthxx wrote:I wonder how they have money. I know her dad works at a dealership but that doesn’t bring in the big bucks. Does he? I’ve never heard or seen mention of them before. Regardless I hope the parents get spoiled well from them as well.SweetiePie60 wrote:I agree....Mindys brother also has kids. I’m pretty sure he does because at the early Thanksgiving dinner with Mindys family there were other kids there besides their own.nahthxx wrote:Does he? Well, I think Ashley finally told us about one of her child hood trials in today’s vlog. She got hit in the face by a ball in the playground. I can’t believe she didn’t do an inspirational Monday vlog about that also noted Tyson described himself and Ashley as loud and obnoxious.

I feel like Mini(did I get that right??) and Papa’s gifts were somewhat staged. I think Nintendo gave the Binghams those Switches and they didn’t want to admit it or give them to the kids themselves to avoid criticism. They were mentioning Nintendo just a little bit too much

I mean we will never know but since they’ve been making videos and I can only assume before they made videos her parents have always gone all out. They have money somehow.

Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 3
I think they’re continually mentioning Nintendo HOPING for a sponsorship. If Nintendo gave them to them they would have to disclose it wouldn’t they? Her parents have always been way over the top. Have you ever seen any of the Easter vlogs? Talk about gluttony.nahthxx wrote:You know that’s a good point, I hadn’t thought about that...Sonofhicks wrote:I feel like Mini(did I get that right??) and Papa’s gifts were somewhat staged. This is how we Bingham | Part 3
Legally yes, but there’s so many tricks around it. Especially if Nintendo told them they didn’t have to mention the gifts, if they pimp the hell out of them. They’ve gotten “gifts” from Nintendo before, haven’t they?JD386 wrote:I think they’re continually mentioning Nintendo HOPING for a sponsorship. Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 3
Regarding buying groceries:
I agree it’s a very nice thing to do, but I don’t agree with the execution. I understand their job is to vlog and that we live in a “if there’s no pic/video, it didn’t happen” society. However, I agree with whoever said their selection process is a bit ..off? I mean if they were basing it off a woman at the register flipping through her wallet trying to skimp for change, I could get on board. But just picking people “that we think need help” and scouting the store is just weird.
It also irks me how Branden mentioned a few times “this isn’t easy” to pull off and how there was all kinds of logistics behind the scenes involved to “get away with it” so to speak. No. If you’re going to do a service, you DO NOT COMPLAIN about it being inconvenient in any way.
I think instead of trying to go viral with filming people’s reactions (and likely not getting their permission to do so) they could buy 6 carts of non perishables and donate to a food bank or shelter.
Regarding Mindy’s family Christmas:
I’m curious where the hell her parents have all this money as well. As previously mentioned, her dad works at a car dealership and he is probably nearing retirement age. He also drove off in a new(ish) looking truck.
Her brother, from my creeping on IG, didn’t appear to be married or have kids(of course it is a business page so who knows) Though I do remember the extra kids on thanksgiving. They could be a girlfriends kids perhaps or maybe there was a cousin there with children that we didn’t see? Just thoughts. He was at Bingham Christmas solo.
I do applaud her brother for not using them to promote his business. I’d think with having his own business he’d be happy to be in videos knowing how much they promote the other Bingham YouTubes. I think the only time he was referenced was when Branden got his truck and her brother put a lift kit and tinted windows I think. And that was just a location tag on IG.
Regarding Nintendo:
I think branden would be pissing his pants in excitement if they got a Nintendo sponsorship. There’s no way his showy-ass would hide that. I think her mom just found a good deal and bought 3 on Black Friday. I don’t think Nintendo would have sent them specific colors that the kids all loved. They’d probably send all 3 the same basic color.

I’m the one who mentioned the brother might have kids. Never thought that it could a cousin’s children or a girlfriend’s. Thanks for the insight on that. You are probably right on buying the Nintendo gifts on Black Friday. Everything you have said I agree 100%.Pufflepup wrote:Regarding buying groceries:

Honestly, food banks appreciate cash more than food. Most non-perishable products are full of preservatives and not healthy. With cash, the food banks can provide more meals, and buy fresh foods to give to families as well.
But then they don't have the videotaped reactions of the oh so grateful "poor people". Did they go to Costco? Because when I was struggling, my Costco membership was one of the first things that went by the wayside.
