ExmoWK4Meg -

Pretty is as Pretty does...(or for guys, use the word handsome). An old idiom, but so true. When a person's attitude, actions, words, and behaviors become selfish, neglectful, abusive, and self-centered - it impacts the children she's chosen to "mother". It's ugly, and not pretty to witness.

We've seen that progression over time, with the other parent turning a blind eye. It's becomes infuriating for us, as bystanders, to keep quiet about. And this IS a gossip board...When one gets a belly full...can the criticism stray into areas of personal style? Yes, it happens. The earrings are style. Some may like them...some not. *shrug*. The red lipstick, again some may like, some not. It's changable. Why do you care whether we like or dislike what she wears??

Now, another thing. The twisting of the lips when she speaks. That is her exaggerating! Who knows why she started doing that? It's not an attractive mannerism. Some find it irrititing, considering. Myself, I know she "acts out" and "speaks out" ...sending messages to ppl here on this board. She likes her little digs...always missing the point that most of us don't give a flying F about Her, but we do have concerns for the welfare of her kids ...in several areas that certainly need change/improvement.

My suggestion to you: Go watch many many of her videos with these (and other posters criticisms) in mind.

Observations on Christmas day.

1 - Daniel is not allowed to read the first clue- BEAUTIFUL, MISUNDERSTOOD MEGGERS ripped that clue out of his hands before he could even start.
2 - Golden Child Andrew trying to shove past one of the forgotten birthed kids and Daniel to squeeze into the attic ahead of them.
3 - Andrew can't read great. He's trying to plow through the clues at light speed, and won't slow down. Then he says "Maybe I have dislexia." Which is fair- because if he did have it, how would he know? Meggers can't diagnosis that, and he wasn't in public school long enough for them to. Maybe there's an oil for it?
4 - Megger's "Guess I should have wrote smarter clues"- well, give yourself some credit, the 3 kids who spent the most time in real schools understood them right away. It's just the kids YOU educated that were not getting them. Weird, huh?
5 - One of the forgotten birthed kids (Asher? Peter? Who knows) just ripping into a gift, including letting it drop to the ground. Great present etiquette these kids have learned! Thankfully, Meggers is aware that they can't be trusted, and didn't put anything breakable in his gift.
6 - Meggers repeatedly having to tell them to pay attention to the clues for the biggest gift. They don't care about that, they want their materialistic things. They got that from you, Meggers.
7 - Pearl has stopped chasing the clues. Imagine that- someone with severe back problems not wanting to traipse up and down the stairs, in and out of the house numerous times. It's almost like she's in pain. Maybe there's an oil for that?
8 - The LOOK on Meggers face around 13:50 when she was trying to get her brood to all shut up because of her super smart magical clues... LOL... the clue Mike fucked up because technology is hard.
9 - Peter acting like a little ass because he didn't get his present sooner. He tosses his present on the ground as well, just like Asher did earlier.
10 - Andrew and the INTERRUPTING. If I had to guess, Andrew would probably have had an intervention at school to deal with several things and help him succeed. Instead, he had Megger's constantly telling him he's brilliant, and that nothing he does is wrong. This kid is going to struggle in the real world.
11 - I stopped watching at this point, because GOOD LORD, this was an annoying one to watch. I normally LOVE watching Christmas morning vlogs, especially families who still have young kids (my youngest is 18). This was just... awful.

I can't believe she actually said three different times in three different ways that this was her happiest Christmas ever when it is Elijah's first Christmas away.

My heart Broke for Eve when she got that old r.v. I understand saving money or not always getting your kids exactly what they want. But you are taking ten people to Peru so.....??? Plus a Barbie house was not much more or any more than what she ended up paying for that.

I have never noticed her mouth moving that weirdly before. But now that it has been pointed out, I see it. I used to think that she believes all of her own non sense. But now I think her mouth moving like that is a sign of deception.

Is DoTerra really being investigated?

Love your posts NarcolepsyMom… Their (lack of) education levels were completely evident in that vlog... sheesh.

HopeFloats - she overcompensates A LOT. Especially when she's doing something "out of the ordinary". Look! I didn't get my kids many gifts and it's our GREATEST Christmas ever - they wouldn't even be HAPPY with more gifts!

It is so sad to see how far behind they are. How could any caring parent let that happen to their children? What is wrong with them? I feel so bad for these kids.

Eve couldn’t have been less thrilled with that gift, but at least Megan got to wear her Project Pants.

This was a hard one to watch. Brought me back to the dread/embarrassment I felt in elementary school when we “played” popcorn to take turns reading aloud and someone picked the kid who struggled through the entire thing. Painful.

I have a small family and if we were going on an international trip for Christmas, trust me when I say they would get NOTHING else. I’m sorry, but a new book for each child when none of them can read, in addition to sibling gifts and a gift from the parents isn’t an experience gift in place of Christmas. It’s an experience gift in addition to all the other shit under the tree.

“We should have told you not to use your brain, Andrew.” Ah well, ya didn’t really have to tell him. After watching him stumble through those magical clues, I have a theory: he’s pretending to read all the books we see him with on camera. Holding a book out above your head while getting your teeth worked on? Give me a break.

Probably payback for him saying he’s the happiest he’s ever been now that he’s escaped Megan’s Menagerie.

Honestly couldnt agree more with the posts about Christmas day observations. Peter and Asher are so bratty, I cannot stand it. Not only all the whining, but then the comment when showing his new lego build about how its the “cheap” version. Also, the three biological boys not giving any one a chance to do anything in regards to finding clues. Andrew not being able to read the clue, and then blaming it on “punctuation errors”... its a poem, punctuation rules dont necessarily apply. His ego is through the roof. So frustrating to watch.

Don’t come in here and pretend that because you occasionally see her on IG, and because you were a Mormon once upon a time, you know her enough to claim we’re clearly off our rockers for calling out the issues we have watched develop over the years.
You might consider reading my posts, because I never said, implied, or indicated anything of the sort. I called people out for the personal/appearance-based insults, and *nothing else*. As I have explained already, I was not commenting on any of the issues you mentioned.
Then why write a huge diatribe then? Why not just say something about ppl talking about her looks and not go into the White night shit?

Are they anti-vaxers too? You know, since they don't follow traditional healthcare recommendations? Lets take the tribe to the amazon without proper inoculation and push the limits of the oils to their extreme. It's only Hepatitis A, Typhoid, and yellow fever...they make oils to treat those, right? Just ask the FDA.

That Christmas video was the most anxiety causing yet...from start to finish...from the candles with all the wrapping paper to the proof that "unschooling" isn't good for those kids. Here's a tip, holding a book in front of you isn't the same as reading it, Andrew. You wouldn't know if you truly had a learning disability, Andrew. Your parents never afforded you the opportunity to be evaluated properly for something like that. Poor Pearl couldn't keep up with the running around and they think she can hike the Andes? The AHDH traits of the biologicals and selfish attitudes that Megan continually supports, encourages, and exemplifies.... Watching them act like idiots tearing the paper and throwing the boxes. Obnoxious. Her parents seemed way less than thrilled to be there. Megs might be adopted herself, they were so calm and chill. She had to have had some kind of childhood trauma to act the way she does as an adult. The best part of the whole video for me was when Mike joked about those envelopes where the locations of each of the children's new boarding schools. What an EXCELLENT opportunity that truly would be for all of those kids. I was sad when he said it was a joke. That's not funny Mike.

The comments on this video ON the video have been particularly brutal...anyone else notice? I suppose when you flaunt money and privilege, along with a host of ungrateful children who seem bored and disappointed that Peru is the travel destination of choice, you are opening yourself up to being judged. A lot. Megan's responses to some of these people is super snark too, makes you wonder how they have as many supporters as they do.

although.....speaking of supporters and followers....no new podcasts from "rockin the cradle" STILL no financially supporting patreons to that account, and where is this "new"podcast that they advertised over a week ago that they are paying Andrew to edit....still MIA. Oh, that's right, they hardly every follow thru with ANYTHING.

What happened to their "life coaching" business? They even set up a whole webinar for like $100 or something...never followed thru on that. I guess too many people complained about the cost.
What happened to their "RV reno business?" Nothing said about it after they announced.

None of their ideas are good anyway, but crap...at least follow thru for a minute.

It really bother me that they feel that they can speak on entrepreneurship when they are NOT entrepreneurs. Sorry, being on a high tier rank of a MLM or pyramid scheme doesn't make you a business owner. Recruiting people into your oil cult isn't entrepreneurial.

Entrepreneurs create things like jobs. With network marketing or MLM companies, you're not creating jobs. You're a distributor, you're a consumer, but you're not an entrepreneur. MLM's sell something, they are sales people-either a product (to customers) or a dream of financial independence (to recruits),they are NOT NOT NOT business owners. I will argue that point forever. As an actual, successful business owner and entrepreneur it's insulting to consider these people to be in the same caliper.

SNT41007?
I took shop in school. The shop teacher was a scrawny douchy guy.
The students would josh him a lot, till one day he burst out, "When you all go off to Juvenile Detention, Ill be a millionaire!"
They asked, him "How?"
He responded, "Im a part of a multi million dollar corporation!"
They said, "Huh? which one?"
"AMWAY!!!!" he screamed!

Thats how I envision the Knorpps and Doterra!

You know what I am really disappointed about the RTC podcast... I actually enjoyed it... before in the podcast megan alluded to the fact that she has to settle down to do it with andrew. So its definitely her that is "too busy" or whatever. If they can't even manage their old podcast, and decide to put out a new one... what sense does that make? Is this any indicator of how they run their MLM?

Oh yes omg I had so much anxiety when everyone was opening their stockings in front of the lit candles. And andrew only lit them because he was bored? Lol.

Did it annoy anyone else how all the kids' presents were wrapped so sloppily? Throwing it into an amazon shipping box? No tissue paper, no presentation at all?

I also felt like each child should have read their own clue. Instead of a few of the kids dominating the whole scavenger hunt.

LMAO!
I can almost see that comment about waiting until the kids "become interested in reading" as some stan defending them without realizing how weird it sounds.
And with the travel vaccines, don't forget rabies...
I could see them forgoing the travel vaccines because of cost.

I just don’t understand how oblivious they are to Pearl’s back issues. I don’t see how she is without pain - she couldn’t be. She also must be so tired - her posture is so compromised now that it must be affecting her breathing.
Isn’t Machu Picchu at quite a high altitude? Have they thought about how that will affect her? I feel so terribly sorry for her.
On a completely different note. I don’t understand how they couldn’t have got one reasonably good gift despite going to Peru. Going to Peru wasn’t something the kids chose. It’s not like they sat down together and picked out a place to go as a family.
I don’t mind telling you, that my own daughters were completely spoiled this year. I’m not ashamed of it. Last year, on the 12th December I suffered a subarachnoid haemorrhage due to a ruptured cerebral haemorrhage. Just when things were starting to improve a few days before Christmas, I arrested due to severe pneumonia. It was a horrible Christmas for the girls.
Having been ill, I have some extra money saved up and this year I decided to give them some happier Christmas memories. They’ve both wanted to go to New York since they were tiny. So we talked about it with them and they’re going together in February! That was their Christmas present. However, I couldn’t leave them empty handed on Christmas Day. Despite not being able to go out and shop, I made sure they still had lots of stocking fillers for Christmas Day.
Obviously my girls trip to New York for 2 (from UK) costs a lot less that a trip for 10 to Peru. However, I daresay we have a lot less money than the Knorrps. The point is, we offered them the trip and we checked it was what they wanted before we booked it - plus we still bought stocking fillers. Megan and Mike did what they wanted first - without any real consideration for their children - and then made them go without gifts that they actually wanted. I’m guessing things they actually wanted would have been more pleasing than a trip to Peru. Eve has a pretty limited diet. What is she even going to eat there?
Megan never fails to think of herself first. This is her dream - not theirs. Maybe Eve’s dream really was a Barbie house!
There are lots of my dreams, I might never be able to fulfil anymore. That’s fine. For years, my focus has been on my girls fulfilling theirs. That doesn’t make me unfulfilled. When I was their age, my parents allowed me the opportunity to follow my dreams. My husband and I had 8 years together before we had our girls. They were part of the dreams we wanted to fulfil and we were mature enough to understand that when they came along, their needs would always come first.
That doesn’t mean that our needs don’t matter - of course they do! It’s just that our priorities changed and seeing them happy became the biggest part of what we wanted to achieve. I can’t imagine ever having put anything above that. My husband and I are very lucky to have such a strong partnership 25 years down the line, but there is nothing we wouldn’t do for our kids. As I said, we both knew that our priorities were going to change when they came along. We understood that when we chose to have them.
