Your post is valid. And I think just because it’s a city in a country doesn’t make it a great name. I think all the Bingham kids have ridiculous names and it’s a competition to see who can be the most different. The only okay one is Ava.

Gonna have to find the Reddit page for Brexsin. I always, always think of Brexit when I hear it, and they keep doing that stupid "Brexie-doodle" and Krewbie-doobie-doo. I twitch every time I hear it. Krew is going to be getting married and say "I, Krewbie-doobie-doo, take you, Parsleigh, to be my wife"
And then there's the Tannerites: Canyon and Azbury. I thought maybe they were big Bruce Springsteen fans! Plus the Ohana Family, and Jordan Page-- they have Klailea, Rykell, MacEwan(???), and the whole thing with replacing I or E with Y, like in Hazyl. Except that it would sound like hay-zill if they pronounced it the way it's spelled, and they doomed her to a life of saying "no, it's not spelled that way!"
Boston seems to be a popular name too. And Madison only became a popular name after the movie "Splash".

Don’t feel bad for having an opinion. It’s not my cup of tea either. But I’m glad it actually has meaning and isn’t a stupid made up Utah name (unlike Mindy’s naming process). Ryler was made up. Krew with a K is made up. Brexsen is terribly made up. Hazyl with a y is made up. I think Turin being called Turbo though is why I really don’t care for the name Turin because that nickname makes it feel like a made up Utah name.

I was so stressed out when I saw that the Binghams went to Topgolf. It's basically a multi level building that is missing a wall - a HUGE fall risk. I saw on their Instagram story that Brex was helping Hazy and they toppled over - I didn't realize they were on the first floor (exactly where this accident prone family should be) and was so scared!

Topgolf is pricey. I'm glad they had a good time but wow!

WHY do they have to be such jerks? Not just this, but on the "Friends React to Braces" video, the title is "Brace Face". I'll bet Branden was one of those jerky kids who called other kids "brace face" and "four eyes".
And putting the little arrow pointing out Hazy's cut in the thumbnail for the "Family Secrets" video-- gotta make sure people see it so they ask about it so they can clickbait her getting stitches.

I guess I don't understand this new thing COPPA. They won't be able to show their kids in the videos? I tried reading about it online and got more confused. Or do they have to mark which videos are appropriate for kids to watch? Because I could do a lot less of Hazel's high pitched look at me voice.

They can show their kids. COPPA is to protect the privacy of the kids _watching_. YT was fined by the FTC for gathering information on children and using it to target ads. So creators now need to mark their videos as "kid-directed" or not. If they are wrong, and YT discovers it, they will be fined. Kid-directed is things like challenges, slime, skits, etc. But it's vague, so family vloggers may be in trouble too. They can still have ads, but they won't be targeted, and targeted ads pay a LOT more than untargeted.
Don't feel bad if you don't understand. It's all vague. There are things that are really obviously kid-directed, like Daily Bumps Toy Story Halloween video, but there's a huge grey area.
When the dad from J House vlogs met with the FTC, they said one of the channels they considered to be kid-directed was Bratayley. So that tells me family vloggers should be nervous. A bunch have said "oh, we'll be fine" but I think they are whistling past the graveyard.

So what was that staged thumbnail of them looking shocked and dismayed (or trying to, anyway) all about.
They just bug me so much. In some ways they get to me more than the Greedners, because they have so many people snowed. Branden seems to enjoy his kids, but I think sometimes it's only as a reflection of himself. He reminds me a lot of Shay Butler, who pretended to be Mr. Devout Mormon Family Man while he was drinking and sexting other women. Shay is an overgrown manchild too, and he takes pride in the risk-taking behaviors of his boys. And Mindy is a lot like Colette-- she hems and haws, but never puts her foot down on dangerous activities.
I just don't see a lot of fundamental changes from that smug guy in the mug shots. And people think that they are so wonderful. It's like since they only see the positive comments (anyone who has anything negative to say has long since given up commenting on the vlogs) that they believe that everyone really believes that they are just the best family ever, so their heads just get bigger and bigger. It's more insidious than the Greedners because the Greedners aren't as careful about what they show, and they get caught in their hypocrisy more often.
I hope YouTube thinks that most of their content is aimed at children.

A couple of surgeries? Branden’s eye is the only one that comes to mind. What am I missing? And 13 vacations!? Imagine how much money they could have in savings if they didn’t spend an entire year living “epically”. They’re like those people that win the lottery and then lose it all within a year. Way to be a responsible parent!! I see an emergency room visit with him. Wearing all black at night riding that stupid one wheel on a busy street. I was hoping after he ran away from his brother's house, the dog would have knocked him down. No wonder there are so many ER visits, the parents act like kids themselves.

"Remodels and renovations" Dafuq? Every time Mindy redecorates, they call it a "renovation". They need a dictionary. Even after the bathroom flood, I wouldn't call it a renovation. The only actual remodeling was building the bathroom for Madi. Doing the kitchen cabinets is just a rear-facing. They didn't change the configuration.

Maybe they consider all the fillings a "surgery"?
Mindy posted an instastory last night about how they let the kids stay up until midnight and she was so amazed at how well behaved they were. "Princess Hazy" was even good. Gee, you think maybe if it's amazing that they are good when you are giving them a special privilege, you might need to examine your parenting?

I wish they would just stop with the "Princess Hazy" BS. She's far from a princess. Real princesses behave MUCH better than she does. She's not a princess

Their use of the terms “renovate” and “remodel” for simple redecorating go right alongside their use of the word “surgery” for a procedure or office visit. It’s all an over dramatization. We gutted our kitchen and completely ripped out our flooring. That’s a renovation. Redecorating your living room isn’t a renovation or a remodel. Buying 7 new couches over the span of a year doesn’t count either.

I think the binghams will be going on the Disney creator days cruise and trip to Disney world. They said they booked a trip for February which is when that happens. They didn’t get invited last year. Which great we have to see them and the Gardner’s being fake as fuck together.
