I mean he shouldn't just stay in the military because it's better for views or because it's their "brand" and with everything going on in the world right now plus constantly moving, I wish my husband could get out of the military, too.
So I get it, it is really hard on a family, and please no angry spouses chime in now "yOu kneW whAt yOu siGneD up fOr wHeN you Got mArrIeD".
I just sincerely hope he will not become a full time vlogger now and stay home all the time, like all these other vlogger families. Vlogging has lost so much of it's appeal now that basically every vlogger is doing it as their main job. People initially start watching vlogs (mainly because) they can identify with the person vlogging, it's hard to identify with two slobs who stay home all day not doing shit (sacjolys as an example).

First off I’d like to thank your husband for his service and you and your family for your sacrifices as a military family it isn’t easy I know. My father was an Air Force Academy graduate and served in the US Air Force for 42 years. He is a Vietnam and Desert Storm Vet. I was born in Ramstein Germany as were my younger twin brothers and I spent the first three years of my life there. We stayed there until my Dad was transferred to McGuire AFB in Wrightstown, NJ in September 1976. Harold I believe is a Georgia Native and spent the first two years of his military career there and the last year and a half in Washington D.C. He’s very fortunate in the two assignments he’s had and yet his wife has done nothing but whine about it the entire time. I’ll never forget her whining at the hours he worked standing at the wake for President Bush. I knew he would be leaving the Army because of her as soon as he met his obligation. At least they both have college degrees and can get good jobs if they wish. I know that at least both his grandfather and father are West Point grads as well and I don’t think they served any longer than their obligation either. Hopefully Harold has plans other than the book and YouTube. I wish them luck wherever life leads them. I just hope that Harold isn’t giving up a job he seems to love to appease his wife who never seems she is happy with anything and is always whining about one thing or another.

I love ramstein and the community over there. We lived there for a while about three years ago.
It does sound like they have been very fortunate with where they have been stationed at. I actually would have thought that to get more views and different content, they would try to apply to overseas bases. Because big life changes like that would draw in a lot of views, plus it's always just limited time until you can get back to the US.
But as soon as they sat down and started talking I just knew they would say he's getting out.
It makes life much easier if both partners are from the US and another bonus point if they are from roughly the same state or area. As long as he's trying to pursue some kind of actual career, that's still fine and nothing to bash him for, just that SAHD thing...no. He needs something that separates him from Rachel or they eventually will mold into one person, because of how much she needs from him.
