This, exactly! It's all about his character. Since he is such a nasty little man it makes it easier for people to comment on things like his looks and his height, even if said things aren't things they would generally make comments on about someone else is who overall a good person.

That's very true. There are people worse looking than Dofungus but we do not notice or dwell on for anytime because they are decent people who live their lives without manipulating, irritating, shunning, exploiting or blatantly lying to others. There's some truth to the saying that one's interior is reflected in one's exterior. I bet if he was a genuine, truly friendly, classy individual there wouldn't be many comments on his less than stellar looks or wondering about what is Anna doing with him. It's like his fatness became a symbol of his bloated self-importance, egotism, selfishness and self-indulgence. I think a lot of it is him. I think that even if he does like her in brighter colors or with brighter lips, he tells her that he doesn't so that she doesn't stand out in public. He doesn't want any attention drawn to her because he is intimidated. I think their whole relationship is really sad. I used to feel bad for Anna but then I realized she's really just as bad.

Before the holidays, when Sam and Jay were buying matching outfits for several of the youtube babies, Jay was really surprised when Sam told him Anna was about the same height as her, 5'4". I so wanted to comment that she only seems tall because her husband is really short! Naturally people assume he's an average height man, which would make Anna seem on the tall side for a woman.

Can you imagine thinking they're both super tall and then walking around a corner in, say, Tesco and running into people you have to look down on? (Luckily that'll never happen to me, I'm from the US).
