If they really are in Australia It shows once again how stupid she is.
With what is going on, I personally would not take my children there. I find it irresponsible.

I 100% agree, to move your family there during a state of emergency would be insane. The entire country has been burning for a couple months now. Evacuations have seen people escaping out to sea when coastal cities were surrounded by fire trapping them. Air equality is bad. It's dangerous and has been going on for months, they are not expecting to have it completely under control for several more weeks

So does that mean it’s gone now? Is IG stories something special? I don’t follow IG that much so don’t understand the story thing.
Australia is a very large country/continent. It is air Quality, not air EQuality btw. Whilst the fires are aN ecological and horrendous disaster, life gies on in the majority of the country. The USA under the orange maestro is far more horrific.

I know it's quality not equality...it was a typo you know? Kinda like how you typed "life gies on" or "aN" instead of "an". Thanks for trying to grammar police my comment tho

The population density, 2.8 inhabitants per square kilometre, is among the lowest in the world, a large proportion of the population lives along south-eastern coastline.

ah that is how you do it!

the breakdance instructor seems to have an Australian accent but not too many other clues where they are
She mentioned it was her aunt or sister-in-law or someone who cooked the meal for them and all of Taina's family is in Australia aren't they? So likely they are there.
She said they were speaking in Finnish though

The air quality is really bad in most places because of the smoke but you are right that most areas are not on fire. The fires are mostly in areas with lots of bush (outside of the cities or on the city fringes) as well as some national parks. Our national parks are thick with bush too, mainly eucalyptus trees so they catch on fire fast in dry and hot weather. Most of the cities are safe although the air quality is terrible because often there will be smoke from several fires coming from a few directions.

I am a bit dubious as to whether the clips are of Australia but I too have an inkling that they will be living in Brisbane when they do finally arrive in Australia. It will be the opposite to Finland in weather. It is sunny and hot for nine months of the year or more and they will be able to swim and surf even in winter. Some years, winter may be too cold to swim. Unfortunately they won't be able to have fireworks on New Years Eve like they do now. Fireworks are allowed if they are public displays and they have received permission from the authorities, but in the majority of places in Australia, private fireworks are now banned. In some cities, this year, (like Canberra) even public fireworks are not allowed because of the bushfires.

Many people go to the coastal areas for their summer holidays. In Australia, after Christmas, it is school holidays for about 6 weeks until end of January/early February depending on the school. Unfortunately this year, there were many fires at the coast and people were trapped. Roads were closed and they couldn't get home. On the other hand, the air quality in the cities was so bad that they didn't want to go home. It is a case of it is better to be down at the beach with the children than back in the city with bad air quality. The fire situation has been exacerbated by the lack of rain. It has barely rained here all summer and it would make a huge difference if it did rain for a period.

For reference for the audience here:
This picture is an artist's visualisation of one month of data of locations where fire was detected. It isn't what Australia looks like at any given "live" moment.

The author also admits "the scale is a little exaggerated due to the renders glow, but it generally true to the info from the NASA website. Also note that not all the areas are still buring, and this is a compilation".

Acrually, the picture - as tha author admitted later - is the representation of all the fires in the season, additionally enhanced, glow added. Now, I have read, it turns out, it actually represents the fires in the last year. So - it is not representative of the actual scale of ongoing fires. There bigger and more devastating fires in Australia's past - but social media were not advanced as they now, so they went unnoticed. As I wrote in one of the previous posts - do the maths - Australia is 770 mln hektares, so far 12 mln hektares have burnt ( since September). Of course, it is a tragedy still, as people lost lives, animals lost lives, hmes were burnt - but it is nothing exceeding normal occurence on this continent. The same applies to animals - the scientist, from who the number of 480 milion animals came admitted, he only estimated the number of animals living in affected areas basing on statistics and came to number 480 million. As he said, most likely majority of them survived. We always need to read critically and analyze different sources in this age of fake news.

I am in fact in Brisbane, Australia, and it is safe here in terms of fires. There are no fires in the area and the air quality is good. We had some fires here in November and a couple of days of smoke but that’s it. The biggest fires are thousands kilometres from here. People in big cities are not endangered and live very much normal lives. Sydney and Melbourne have occasionally bad air quality if the wind blows smoke from the fire areas but some days are OK depending on the wind direction. The fires are in the remote areas of Australia and, yes, they are terrible and a lot of people lost their homes and lots of animals died so if you went to the fire zone you would be crazy but otherwise you will be safe. So no, I dint think fires are stopping them, more likely some legal stuff (maybe visa for Jenna?) or something else that she won’t ever reveal. I think too that they are still in Finland.

My question is (among many), why does she push her kids so hard to learn so much when her kids who are adults are doing absolutely nothing with their lives? What's the point? Leonardo is literally living in a $150 bunk bed with his teenage wife.
OMG finally someone said it!!! Yes!!!!! You could be the smartest human, possess the most degrees, the cure for cancer, etc... But if you do nothing with it, it’s useless!

How do I manage to miss these stories? All I’m getting is their vegan dinner.

The suspense is killing me waiting to find out where they REALLY are.😁 Right now we don’t have much to talk about.

Just throwing in a random question. Who has seen the video of the cat fending off THREE coyotes?🙀

Of course, we'll never know for sure. I really don't understand why all the mystery.
In the house tour video she said the view will be beautiful in the summer too so, I don't think they'll move to Australia soon.
