Oh it’s completely irrelevant, but I think we were onto her and she was trying to throw us off the trail by complimenting her husband and trying to make it seem like the “personal stuff” she’s been going through was in regards to her dog. However, she can’t just compliment her husband without being backhanded because she hates him... so, in true Elle fashion, she was authentically inauthentic.

We are on to her, and she knows it. It’s making her uncomfortable. Her lack of live stories makes me think things are exceptionally tumultuous at home, since she’s only ever live in stories when she’s in her vehicle or out and about... I’d hazard a guess that she only goes live at home when Dan isn’t around and the kids aren’t close by to let anything slip.

I also thought it was so funny that she has been sharing Cohen so much on Instagram... she’s clearly still a full time reader here! Hey Elle!

She mentions her Instagram story on Saturday. Meaning this was filmed Sunday or Monday. AFTER her ancestors/gramma trip disaster.

Thrifting planned and filmed after everyone calls her out on her spending. DAMAGE CONTROL.

All while shopping in thrift stores for her kids items so she can continue to afford all of the luxuries for herself

She’s too much for me. I don’t have anything against thrifting, in fact, I love it. But for my house, we ALL thrift on an actual budget. No fucking way would I buy an LV bag even if it was half of it’s usual price second hand.

Also, the end of the video when Elle says she’s going to put out a video that will help us find out who we really are ..... *crickets*....
Elle, you don’t even know who YOU are. The blind leading the blind. Who takes this woman seriously anymore?!?! I honestly think she should be embarrassed... the people genuinely following her and defending her are the mentally questionable folks in society. And I don’t mean to be rude, but truly, they are the people who’s judgement you would question in person. The strange folks who try to chat with your kids in the grocery line about age inappropriate things... I would be terrified to put my life online with this audience, yet she loves it. These are the people validating her and she’s ok with it AND soaks it up.... she’s clearly got terrible judgement, not that I needed one more thing to prove this

Also, did anyone catch the side eye look she gave when Ellie was walking toward her but not quite in frame yet. She almost looked concerned, and I thought, “oh, is Dan home?!”
That kind of validated my opinion on her only filming when Dan is gone

I think Elle has a need for validation that she gets filled from YouTube and social media for sure. She needs it so much that she lost herself or never quite knew herself in the first place trying to please her general audience. So she's been on YouTube for ages and yet she still haven't found her niche which is so odd. It's like every year or more she reinvents herself to emulate more popular YouTubers or some influencer that has a schtick working out for them. She had a few viral videos that drove her to think she is qualified and worth to make content for her audience. But she never had an original content to begin with, it's always a rehash of someone else's. Now she is rehashing what she "learned" from therapy which she now thinks is her original ideas worth sharing.

Sorry for the boring analysis you guys probably already know. But yeah, I agree with TeachIT, the thrift video is damage control because people saw through her.

The thrift video was so dumb but not as dumb as the last one about the goals was even worse. Anyhow I don't understand why she needs to buy her kids used clothes and pajamas, kids clothing really isn't that much more expensive than what she paid at the thrift store. Also did anyone catch the batman pajamas she got for I think Forde. Those were in pretty terrible condition like does she actually need to save 5 dollars that bad and not even let them have new pjs! Also the post about her not being able to afford to go to England is absurd and the comments about it on her Instagram are accurate and she is so defensive!! Like come on Elle admit it you have spent way more than 6k last year alone on yourself!!!

Yea, I noticed the Batman pj’s as well. The decal was peeling off in many parts. I also thought the cost of the items were pretty high. I buy my kids clothes on sale brand new and I have guidelines I follow for cost, I try not to spend more than $5-7 for NEW pants, and between that for new shirts, new pj’s I allow up to $10 because they charge an arm and a leg for stupid Disney prints that my kids apparently need to have. And my kids wear a ton of new brand name items, it’s not hard to shop deals! I wouldn’t spend more than $2 per item on any thrift store clothing, even brand new with tags! I wonder what posh thrift store that was?

What I learned from this video:

- Elle is starving herself again.

- Her kids definitely don’t only have 7 outfits each. (Skim her stories, posts, this haul, and videos - easy to count 10+ for the chosen child)

- Elle only wears quality clothing in perfect condition, but she doesn’t mind if her kids wear faded worn clothes.

- Elle is willing to pay nearly new clothing prices for used clothes to prove a point that shes “INTENTIONAL” and “MINDFUL”

- Elle has no one who loves her enough to tell her that the intro (dancing with B, singing in the car) is CRINGE af.



Questions I still have...

- Why doesn’t Cohen have QUALITY hand me downs from Forde? Isn’t that why she spent so much on his trendy clothes?

- Does the $2 she saved buying PJs go straight into her LV bag fund or is that fund made of only the giving back fund proceeds?

- When do we get to see Elle buying HERSELF ragged, faded, peeling clothes from the thrift store?

- How many “thrift hauls” does it take to save enough for her lip injections? (Or is that covered also as “migraine treatment”?)

I have a theory: I think the divorce is happening for real and Dan has literally one foot out the door or has already left.

She’s practicing living on a smaller income by buying her kids used clothing now.

And I think she had to pull Cohen out of preschool ($$) so he’s been home more with him hence the recent posts about him. She’s actually seeing him more now than she did before...

Plus all this talk about “finding yourself” just reeks of divorce.

I bet the new car was part of the settlement! Or they had to get out of the lease on their cars and had to trade in both. Dan would be fine driving a shit box of a car to and from work everyday or his daddy will be driving him since he’s retired.

Here’s a tip Elle, your next vlog could be “how to budget on one income”.

I suspect we will see more “girls night out” or barre classes posted because she needs something to do while Dan has his visitations. She probably can’t stand to look at his face anymore.

So sad but we ALL SAW THIS COMING. And it’s definitely the real reason why she stated she wouldn’t be showing the kids in vlogs anymore because we all know Dan wanted nothing to do with Youtube. (But also Why show them in instastories and Instagram posts but not in vlogs? Like what’s the difference?? )

She was at a thrift store called once upon a child. I personally have not bought anything from there because the few times I have gone there, everything was more expensive than what I could find new at Walmart, gap old navy and even roots!! I have found t shirts at roots on sale for under 5 dollars. The fact she said I think 5 bucks for the falling apartment batman pjs is absurd like come on Elle how long do you think those are going to last? What happened to being sustainable and quality over quantity bs ugh she really irritates me!!
