My kids love salads now because we make them fun and filled with lots of toppings. Rice and lentils with sauce are the easiest meal. My kids could liiiiivvee off of hummus and refried beans. Oh and oatmeal! It is so filling and you can make it really yummy. Yeah, they may not like it at first but when that is all they are served they will eventually adapt the tastebuds for it and know no different. My kids have been addicted to sugar, sweets, treats and processed foods for a long time and it was time to kick it out of our lives. Game changer. Britney can do this, it’s just a matter if she chooses to step it up and just do it. No more lazy mom. No more giving in mom.

We went plant based almost four years ago. Pinterest is full of easy whole food crock pot recipes. I can’t cook for the life of me, but I can throw things into a casserole dish haha.
Years ago I found a study that had been done showing that whole food plant based diets “could” slow down the dmd decline. I sent it to her, I doubt she read it and obviously they didn’t make the switch, but I always thought it was crazy that she continued to feed him so much processed junk. Blows my mind to this day how little she does for that boy.
