Just skimmed the comments of her recent posts and several have vanished. Some she deleted weren’t even mean or contradictory- just stuff she didn’t want to hear (I specifically remember there was one about how she should take just Forde to see grandma because he’ll remember it and he doesn’t go on a lot of her trips, the baby does). There are others but I don’t remember them.

I know she’s “KEEPING THE COMMUNITY SAFE” but honestly how are comments like that hurtful? It isn’t rude, it’s a fact. She just doesn’t like it.

How does she expect people to engage with her when she deletes anything she just doesn’t like? Honestly? Now she’s deleting anything that’s mean, offensive, OR doesn’t stroke her ego. She’s going to alienate her entire audience! Sometimes people disagree, and it’s ok. (Ask my husband, we disagree constantly and are still madly in love enough to keep making all these damn babies...)

Elle's concern for her aUtHeNtIcItY is making her blind of the consequences of her actions. The big lesson she still can't get is: Don't preach Minimal mindfulness if you are not practicing it. She's like a personal trainer that doesn't work out and gets to boss everyone else to do more push ups AND get paid doing it!

Also Elle in her Amazon IG post: but Minimalists aren't perfect... they're flawed just like the rest of humanity.

I wonder if there is another Minimalist preaching Youtuber out there that spent $20k more on herself than her family? Probably on Elle.

Oh man, I’m so behind!!!

A higher end VW Atlas rings in at about $65,000 in Canada. It is an expensive vehicle! We priced one last year, not even the super optioned one, based on trading in our two year old highly optioned $55,000 SUV. The payments jumped $200 a month and the gas would have been a huge increase as well. Insurance also quoted us a much higher amount than expected. Overall, that car would have cost us an extra $400 a month to run. Ended up sticking with our current car, which, like hers - is 1000% fine!

If they really are getting a divorce, upgrading to a massive luxury SUV is a ridiculous first step in terms of finances. Maybe Elle decided to give Dan her van so he can have a large enough vehicle when he has the kids for the weekend. She has decided that VANNA WHITE is no longer her aesthetic but it’s good enough for him, just like his tiny little wank nook in the attic and his side table dresser. Enter the VW Atlas.

There was a comment awhile back that it’s surprising Elle wouldn’t move into a fresh and fancy new condo. I think if we look at the upgrades she’s been doing to her furniture and decor lately, she has been building her bachelorette crib right before our very eyes. This is her new single mom space. Meanwhile, if Dan doesn’t move into the apartment above the garage, I’m sure he will move into his parents’ basement. She has already taken him for everything he has and will continue to do so.

I haven’t watched a vlog in weeks but did she seriously buy a thrifted gift for a kid’s birthday party? Jesus. If all you want to spend on a gift is a few bucks, then take that few bucks and stick it on a gift card to Mastermind or something. A thrifted gift is not the way to go. Definitely sends the wrong message, unless the receiver is big into thrifted or vintage items of a certain type etc.

Found it absolutely abhorrent the way she threw Dan under the bus for not agreeing with her that something is wrong with Ellie. I’ll admit it is weird that he was so aloof about it (if it’s true, anyway, things through Elle’s lens cannot be trusted). It was also super weird how she spent the last third of that post being like Dan is the most amazing vet!!!! considering the first two thirds. In her eyes, how good of a vet could he be, if he can’t even see that his own dog is sick?

Oh and for those asking, Ellie was 4 when they got her. Forde was young at the time...I want to say she is probably only 9? Still pretty young for sure, but cancer in golden retrievers is almost a given, unfortunately.

I saw some of the comments about spending less on luxury items in order to afford a plane ticket and how Elle was like “uh, they’re VINTAGE!!!” that made me so angry because while a purse on consignment would be less than retail (but still extremely expensive, like $1000 Canadian minimum), an actual vintage bag would be several thousand.

I wonder if all this insane spending on herself is retail therapy for her pending divorce. Which I think we can all agree is definitely happening! It’s just so obvious at this point, like that time she wore sunglasses indoors to hide her plastic surgery.

We just bought an Atlas and got the highest trim but not the Rline and paid cash with a $6k discount and it was $61k. Not sure on payments or lease but she probably got a 2019 so at a discount. I live about 20 minutes from her and yes, mileage is complete shit. I go through a tank a week ($70) and for the most part that’s just running errands and all the major shopping is within 5km from my house.

I personally strongly believe it’s a divorce or at least martial problems.

BUT if it’s not that, I would say mid life crisis/identity crisis.
She’s realizing that she’s getting closer to 40 and honestly hasn’t really accomplished THAT much. She married a rich vet and had 3 kids. Has a very mediocre YT career that is declining and she can’t do anything about it. The shopping is to fill a void.

I agree with the previous comment that it’s definitely divorce or at the very least marital problems.
But alternately, perhaps her “very specialized doctors” who said Cohen didn’t have Autism, were in fact wrong, and he actually does have autism or a similar diagnosis? That may be why she has had so many posts with him as well? OR Maybe dan asked her to get a real job to start offsetting here outrageous spending. Lol

“Answers to toddlers speech delay...” is still up. I’m with you guys, I think it’s marriage issues. I just can’t piece together why she’s taken down the videos she has. All her pregnancy updates? Dans mom? But left up “how we met” w/her and Dan. If my husband left me that’d be the first to come down lol.

I think divorce. That New Year’s post where she says “my kids, friends, my relationship” was the clincher for me. Not only did she put it LAST in that list, she didn’t call it a marriage and she didn’t even use his name.

I hope he called her out on all her selfish nonsense and left her.

Guys I don’t think Dan has the balls to leave Elle. Unless she is really really horrible behind the scenes.

There is something going on because it’s evident in how her Behaviour has changed and posting schedule. Plus all these trips. When Blankette was first born She posted more regularly than she does now.

The odd things:
Irregular posting
Deleting certain videos
Multiple trips
Over spending
Dan MIA
New unnecessary car
Remodel
Hypocritical (beliefs not lining up with what we see)

Not just being a nosy perv, but some dudes can’t let go of their first lol. The longer they stay a virgin the harder it seems for men to let go of the first. I don’t see him leaving her either. Which means she initiated it. But why? She likes the security he provides and the clout she gets from being part of a nuclear family. She didn’t do it for the views or else she’d be exploiting it already (I wish she would, she’d be way more interesting). Was she really that unhappy, and if so, why? Plenty of people stay in marriages of convenience. Unless she met someone else?

The whole thing is mind boggling. She doesn’t do stories around the house anymore, or if so it’s just a quick clip. What she shares is surface stuff only, nothing “real” about her life right now. I went back and watched their Christmas tree vlog from last month. Couldn’t bear the whole thing, it was so boring, but she said “we’re taking the kids to the parade” and Dan was nowhere to be seen in what I watched (like I said I didn’t see the whole thing, maybe he was at the parade and she showed him later...)

My only other theory is that she’s stayed true to her promise to avoid this forum, but recently couldn’t help herself and is in a spiral over it. Hence posting more photos of her kids to seem like an involved mother, and making a big deal of being thrifty to prove to everyone she isn’t a brand whore.

It’s clear that elle has always believed that she was too good for Dan. She married him cause he checked items on her list and she was getting older.

She does all this stuff, thinking it will bring her happiness, but the truth to me is, Elle seems happiest when she’s doing things for herself (Elle time) but she wanted so badly to have the family and be a wife/mom.

Leaving a marriage because it’s not fulfilling would be hard for anyone especially when there’s a comfort associated with sharing responsibilities and cash. But I honestly think she would have been happier staying single.

Also - just want to point out that followers have been calling her out for spending, she deletes their comments then makes a whole thrifting video, posts addressing the haters, instastories complaining about coat prices, etc.

Followers have also asked if she’s getting divorced. She deleted their comments ... then radio silence. That’s a big clue to me right there.

Yes Dan was a virgin but Elle was not. I remember that tidbit being shared in one of their sit down Q&A’s because I thought it was a very odd and personal thing for Elle to share about Dan.

Also worth noting, Elle has been wearing her wedding set a lot lately. I remember a long time ago someone had asked why she never wore her ring and she said it gave her a rash or something, but her ring was always something that was rarely present, and I didn’t think much of it, it was a valid reason not to wear it. It’s just funny how now people are questioning where dan is and if they are separating and her ring is constantly on her finger. Either we are so off base, or she’s trying to throw us off her scent. She also spent New Years with Dan, which makes me think they haven’t separated. But maybe they are struggling in their marriage again? Her caption on the Jan 2 Instagram post with the bangs says she’s climbing several mountains and one of them is a relational mountain... I’ll screen shot it.
